Today, I was actually planning to go to a different ramen shop, but the long line made me change my destination. This shop also had a line, but since I arrived early, I decided to give it a try. As expected, it was not busy and I could easily get a seat at the counter. However, right after me, a group of three and a group of two arrived one after another and the shop became full. It was a close call. One amazing thing about this shop is that the amount of noodles is the same whether you order a regular serving of 160g, a large serving of 240g, or a double serving of 320g. Isn't that fair? In the end (after eating), I thought I could handle the 320g serving, but when it comes to such menu options, I always end up choosing the "middle" option. I ordered the "abura soba (large serving)" for 880 yen and added a "half-boiled egg" for 100 yen as a topping. The abura soba that came out had thick noodles in abundance. Without even tasting it, I poured a lot of chili oil and vinegar from the counter, sprinkled some onions, and mixed it all together. I really like these thick noodles. However, despite adding a lot of chili oil, it wasn't spicy, so I decided to add some "spicy oil" which was a thick, gooey chili oil-like sauce, and the flavor changed drastically! The sesame oil flavor added, the perfect level of spiciness, and the noodles just kept going down easily! I added more onions along the way, and oh, it was delicious! Maybe I prefer abura soba or maze soba over ramen. The sauce here isn't too strong, so even after mixing, I could still taste the flavor of the half-boiled egg until the end. It's a perfect seasoning, isn't it? It's no wonder there's always a line. Thank you for the meal.
