Head to "Seiichiro Nishizono" in Nishi-ku, Osaka. It is located about 400m southwest from exit 7 of Higobashi Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line, along the street on the south side of Nishifunaba Park. The nearby coin parking costs around 200 yen for 15 minutes. The small and stylish interior with 4 eat-in seats has a cool atmosphere with monochrome colors, but the service is polite and warm. Visiting before 5 pm on a Saturday, there were 3 customers before me. The eat-in space had 3 available seats right after the previous customers left. Even at this time, there were 7 types of cakes displayed in the glass case. - Tart Noix Miel (560 yen): A tart with walnuts left in their natural state, not caramelized. The perfect "crispy" texture of the tart crust is addictively satisfying. The rich aroma of roasted walnuts combined with the subtle sweetness of the tart crust is delightful. - Raisin Butter Sandwich (490 yen): The light buttercream that melts in your mouth and the alluring scent of rum-soaked raisins make this combination so delicious that you might let out a sigh of pleasure. The moist biscuit with a texture that can be described as both "crispy" and "soft" seems to be made with plenty of butter. - Peanut Butter Sandwich (610 yen): The peanut butter cream version, while not as assertive as the rum-soaked raisins, leaves a high-quality and pleasant nutty aftertaste after the light melting sensation. I am gradually drawn into the deliciousness. I used to often get the butter sandwiches to go, but today I got a cheesecake to go! First, it's a rich cheese flavor. The crust at the bottom has a slight salty taste, which complements the cheese well. The cream on top and the toppings also go well with the cheese, making it a pretty good cheesecake ^-^

I arrived before evening and most of the items were sold out... but since I was already there, I decided to buy the apricot tart! It had plenty of apricots on top and the buttery tart crust was delicious! I initially bought it to console myself, but it was really tasty! Next time, when I come back for cake, I'll probably get the apricot tart again! The staff at the shop were also very friendly, so I'll make sure to visit during their open hours next time!

I stayed at a hotel near Higobashi and looked for a delicious cake nearby. I found a small shop across the park, but it was too crowded to eat in, so I took the cakes back to my hotel. When asked how long I would be carrying them, I said about 30 minutes, but without an ice pack. It wasn't too long before I ate them, so I put them in the fridge. I had a crème caramel pudding and a chestnut butter sandwich. The pudding was average, but the butter sandwich was rich and delicious.

I purchased some pastries as a gift for a friend's house. The lineup of products seems to change with the seasons, and this season they had products made with Shine Muscat grapes and figs. I got a Shine Muscat and grapefruit and matcha cake for my friend, and I got a cream puff with seasonal fruits for myself. The cream puff was not only delicious with the fruits, but the cream inside was unbelievably delicious! I tried a bit of my friend's Shine Muscat as well, and it had a very elegant taste with a subtle hint of matcha, not overpowering at all. The staff who assisted us were also very friendly and helpful.

Dramatic!! I happened to enter the shop while looking for a souvenir, and I was intrigued to hear that they have a special focus on butter. I decided to order some pastries and a butter sandwich that use their butter. At first, I was planning to stop after ordering, as I was alone, but I changed my mind and also ordered the most popular Dramatic cake and pudding. It was the right decision!! Everything was refined and not too sweet, just perfect. I will definitely continue to visit this place in the future. ^_^

This day was the second day of a three-day weekend on Sunday. After checking out of a hotel in Osaka Honmachi where I stayed overnight, I went for a walk to visit various top dessert shops. First, I stopped by Patisserie Aiguille, then I went to Miki Fruit Cafe as the second shop. I took a bus from Miki Fruit Parfait to head to the next shop. When I glanced at the bus stop, I saw New Babe! Wait, there's a branch here!? I was surprised to learn that they already have four shops, amazing! After getting off the bus at Kyoto Hori Ichome and walking about 3 minutes, I arrived at Seiichiro, Nisizono. It's located almost next to Le Petit Papillon. There are also four counter seats for eating in. Luckily, the showcase was filled with peach sweets for the four days including the day I visited during the three-day weekend + the previous Friday, peach heaven! But with 15 peach sweets lined up in the showcase... it was a tough choice... Hmm. Even though it was the third shop, I decided to choose two items. For drinks, I ordered the Ice Muscat Jasmine Tea. This jasmine tea was also delicious. The muscat had a subtle fragrance. It paired well with the peach. - Gâteau Pêche: A luxurious shortcake with white peach! A firm sponge with fluffy cream. There are plenty of peaches between the sponge layers. - Crafty Pêche Verveine: A crispy tart topped with white peach, verveine, and gyokuro compote. Each cake had a different expression of peach and was very delicious! Thank you for the meal!

This time, I bought traditional pastries from various regions of France as I couldn't carry them around. I purchased: Visitanitine - 241 yen, a traditional pastry from the Lorraine region of France. It is a baked treat made with almonds and plenty of caramelized butter, giving it a rich buttery flavor and a moist and chewy texture. Nabette - 213 yen, a pastry from southern Marseille. It has the scent of orange blossoms and a crumbly biscuit-like texture. It has a simple and gentle taste. Nougat Montelimar - 241 yen, a traditional pastry from Montelimar region. It contains almonds, honey, pistachios, apricots, and dried cherries. It is softer and more caramel-like, with plenty of filling and a satisfying sweetness even with just one piece. These were traditional pastries that I don't usually have, but they were all delicious.

I finally made it here as an adult! This is my favorite cake shop that I always visit when I come to Osaka. The Melba cake is a perfect balance of sweet and sour raspberry with a rich vanilla flavor. The Mont Shine cake combines the fresh sweetness of Shine Muscat with the rich cream cheese and refreshing acidity. Both were incredibly delicious! I will definitely come back again in about a month!

Arrived 10 minutes before the opening time on Sunday. Despite being the first in line, those who had made a reservation for the parfait period were allowed to enter first. Once it was my turn, I entered and chose the cake I wanted at the counter before paying. This time, I purchased a cake called Mont-Renia (820 yen). Since it was not possible to eat in the store during the parfait period, I was recommended to go to a nearby cafe called CAFE SIK, where I decided to enjoy my cake. After paying, the cake was packed for me to take to SIK cafe. It seemed that Nishizono had informed SIK cafe of my arrival, as I was smoothly guided to a table. I ordered jasmine tea at SIK cafe. The base of the Mont-Renia cake was a combination of cheesecake and caramel coated with bitter chocolate. The aroma spread beautifully with each bite, and the rich taste was complemented by the sweet and sourness of the Renia cherries. This cake was not only visually stunning and elegant but also had a unique focus on aroma. It was incredibly delicious. Renia cherries are rare and have a short seasonal availability, usually only sold for about a week. I was lucky to visit during this time. I look forward to trying the eat-in experience at the store next time.

I visited the cake shop to enjoy the cakes by the admired pastry chef Seiichiro Nishizono, as a belated birthday celebration. The cakes in the showcase were so beautiful, especially the one adorned with edible flowers and the unique corn cake. I indulged in the delicious taste and savored every bite. The sweets filled my heart with joy. The drink menu at the eat-in area was also diverse, and I could enjoy a delicious tea with the cakes. I would like to come back again to try the seasonal desserts.

I visited for the purpose of dining in after lunch. I was drawn to all the cakes that caught my eye, but after asking the staff for a recommendation, I ordered the Etla Tire (710 yen). Since dining in requires ordering one drink, I also ordered an iced coffee (410 yen). The seating is only at the counter. I was guided to a seat by the window where the sun was shining just right, as all the customers who were dining in had left. The Etla Tire is a two-layer cake with a vibrant mango mousse and cassis mousse. It had edible flowers on top and mango jelly inside. It is a fruit-based cake, so it is not too sweet and has a refreshing taste, but the aroma that spreads as soon as you put it in your mouth is amazing. The mango mousse is very rich and satisfying. The coffee was also light and easy to drink, not overpowering the taste of the cake. Next time, I plan to buy various cakes for takeout. Thank you for the meal.

I had a memorable parfait in Osaka before, and I found this shop at the bread event in Shinjuku Isetan and immediately purchased it! Three's Tart. The tart crust at the bottom and the abundant American cherry were very delicious. I want to eat it again. And when entering this, I found out that a shop opened in Jiyugaoka? I have to go there too...!

The restaurant "Seiichiro Nishizono" in Kyoto-machi Hori, Osaka, has been selected twice as one of the top 100 dessert shops in the west! The location is excellent, right in front of the quiet Nishifunabashi Park. Their cakes, baked goods, and puddings are all highly praised. One Sunday around noon, I visited to get sweets for Mother's Day, but to my surprise, the item I wanted was sold out! I should have come earlier. I managed to get the limited edition "Creme Caramel" pudding, which was delicious. It had a rich flavor and a perfect balance of ingredients. The vanilla taste was particularly outstanding. The shop has a great atmosphere, and the staff are polite and elegant. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the desserts. Overall, I would rate it 3.7 out of 5. I highly recommend visiting this lovely dessert shop in Kyoto-machi Hori, Osaka.

I arrived just in time for the opening of a shop that was quite a walk from Watanabe Bridge, but there were already three people lined up, and after me, about 10 more couples lined up! There was a small eat-in space and everything was cute. The Mother's Day flower cake had a fluffy cream with a hint of acidity on top, and the tart crust at the bottom was delicious. Le Violette had a berry flavor that was easy to eat because it was slightly sour. The tiramisu was incredibly delicious! It had coffee jelly in it, and the cheese was just the right amount of sweetness!

Stylish exterior and interior. Eat-in space with a small counter. A wide variety of fresh and baked sweets. Overall, a bit on the pricey side. - Kabuto: Price 760 yen including tax. Taste ★★★★☆, Cost performance ★★★★☆. Very, very delicious. The outside of the dome has a crispy chocolate coating. The inside is a soft and light chocolate mousse with a banana accent. It also contains hojicha mousse, which helps balance out the richness of the chocolate. - Raisin Butter Sand: Taste ★★★☆☆, Cost performance ★★★☆☆. I love the patisserie Seiichiro Nishizono in Higobashi, Osaka. From April 21st to 24th, they have a special limited edition parfait called "Celebration." This parfait is filled with vibrant red Kyoto flowers, making it look very elegant and captivating. Chef Nishizono himself pours rose champagne foam on top of the parfait, adding an extra touch of luxury. The strawberry chantilly underneath is light and fluffy, with a delicate texture. The meringue inside the glass is crispy and adds a nice contrast. The bottom of the parfait is filled with sakura jelly and champagne jelly, creating a sophisticated and luxurious flavor combination. I enjoyed this adult and elegant parfait while looking out at the park in front of the patisserie. The showcase also had many cute cakes, so I look forward to trying more sweets next time, perhaps their cakes.
