One of the restaurants I've always wanted to visit is "Chicken Shop Jizo"☆☆ I finally had the chance to visit for the first time as I happened to have some business nearby♪ It's located near Minami-morimachi Station and Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, heading south on Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. It's at the end of the arcade. It was around 9:30 PM when I arrived. As soon as I entered, there was a grilling area, and handsome staff greeted me warmly. The place was bustling with solo diners, groups, and parties. For my first drink, I had a Premium Malt beer (I can't remember the price). And then, I finally tried the tsukune (meatballs) that I've been curious about! There were various types to choose from, but I decided on the "Confident Tsukune with Egg Yolk" for 504 yen! I love eggs, so I couldn't resist! When the tsukune arrived, to my surprise, they had shaped it like a heart! How thoughtful♪ Next, I had a platter of Yame Charcoal Grilled Chicken. I started with the chicken wings and they were so delicious! The meat was tender and juicy, with a nice bounce to it. The other skewers were also flavorful and tasty. I wanted to try the sashimi platter too, but my companion vetoed it, so I had to skip it. What a shame! The staff were very energetic and cheerful, making the atmosphere lively and vibrant. They also have seating on the second floor and a variety of courses, making it suitable for parties. Next time, I'll try the tsukune assortment and sashimi platter! Thank you for the delicious meal♪

I set out to conquer all the yakitori shops in Tenjinbashi-suji Shotengai, but couldn't find one that really stood out... Until I stumbled upon this place and hit the jackpot! Every skewer was high-quality and expertly prepared. It might be a bit intimidating to walk in, but the cost performance is amazing!! Everything was delicious!

I visited after work! This is my second visit. When you open the menu, you'll first see tsukune and tebasaki. These are also delicious, so be sure to try them! But my personal favorite, in the bottom left corner of the next page, is the liver sashimi! Eating this with skewers and alcohol is the best! Also, the vegetables are delicious too. I will definitely visit again!

The sudden desire to eat yakitori led me to search for a shop in the shopping district, and I found a place that seemed to only be open during the day. It was my first time seeing it open. The shop was run by a single person, so there was a bit of a wait and they seemed a bit hesitant to let me in, but since I was mainly there to drink, it was not a problem! The shop owner seemed very busy, but moved efficiently without any wasted movements. The wait was not as long as I thought, and I was actually impressed (laughs). I had a plate of 8 fried chicken skewers, tsukune (chicken meatballs), and chicken zosui. The drinks were all very cheap! However, the appetizer was a bit expensive at 440 yen. The saltiness and grilling of the yakitori was excellent, better than expected, and it was a truly authentic taste. The sauce was light and also delicious. The fried chicken was a classic flavor, and the tsukune was tender but not too soft, just the right taste for me. The zosui had a mild saltiness and a rich, clear broth-like flavor, which was also delicious. Since I was mainly there to drink, I ate well and was full. Despite being busy, they provided good service and I left satisfied.

Tonight, I had dinner here. It is located in the first block of the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. We arrived early, so there were only two groups of women already inside. Even if you're alone, you can feel comfortable sitting at the counter. The owner was the only one working and the highball was a double, so it was quite strong. I had a great experience with the grilled chicken skin, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was really delicious. I also ordered the chicken bone soup rolled omelette, which was huge. The gentle flavor of the chicken bone broth was so good. Soon after, more customers started to arrive and the owner got busy. He seemed focused on cooking and didn't smile much. Overall, I had a great meal with delicious grilled chicken skin and rolled omelette. Thank you for the meal.

After getting off at Minamimoricho Station, walk towards Kitahama for about 3 minutes and you will find a shop that looks like a yakitori restaurant on the left hand side. It has a counter with 6 seats, 2 tables for 2 people, 1 table for 4 people, and a private room at the back. I sat at the counter. The owner and one part-time staff were busy, so I didn't get to talk much with the owner. I liked the taste of the yakitori, especially the large tsukune which was like a hamburger on a stick, but very delicious. The photo is of the salad, which was a generous portion and good value for money. The drinks were also reasonably priced at around 300 yen. I would like to go there again.

Midsummer dinner with beer and yakitori. If those are your choices, go to JIZO. The chicken thigh and skewers are delicious. The JIZO salad with dressing is also tasty! The beer and lemon sour are reasonably priced. It's a safe place to enjoy a drink.

For a New Year's party, I chose a restaurant near my house. I tried to go to a different place, but it was full, so I ended up here. I didn't have high expectations because I came in to figure out where to go for the second place, but surprisingly, the food was delicious. The restaurant was quite busy that day, so the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and didn't give us wet towels or served the dishes slowly, which is why I deducted a star for the service. Thank you for the meal.

At a yakitori restaurant called "JIZO" that has been in business for 10 years in Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, the master of this restaurant is actually someone I have known since they used to run a restaurant bar in Doyama-cho (over 20 years ago). The sweet sauce on the freshly fried chicken wings is delicious. The big, chewy tsukune is coated with egg yolk. Pickles, appetizers, and three chu-hai drinks make for a satisfying meal at around 2000 yen. I was happy to see more restaurants where I could dine alone.

From the Awa Odori festival in Tenjin Tenmangu, I bravely entered JIZO Toriya despite the lively dancing outside. I was surprised by the chicken miso cucumber appetizer. I thought the chicken neck was the best yakitori, but I was recommended a rare cut called "tsunagi" and was even more surprised! It was delicious! The chef was playful and the conversation flowed easily. I honestly want to come back. Thank you.

After work, I was debating with my boyfriend on where to eat and we ended up here. The salad was more generous than I expected, but everything was really delicious! I would definitely consider coming back again... I heard they also deliver through UberEats, so maybe getting it delivered once in a while could be a good idea (lol). But I prefer eating it fresh, so I think I will visit the restaurant again soon!

I decided to walk from Tenroku to Tenjinbashi Shotengai in search of delicious yakitori and I made the right choice! The yakitori was very good! The highball was quite cheap and tasty! And the tsukune was also delicious! I want to go again!

On a Friday night in December, we suddenly decided to go out for dinner with 4 people. We didn't make a reservation, so I called the restaurant to check if it was okay. They reassured me that it was fine, so we headed there right away. We were seated on the second floor in a traditional Japanese-style room that felt like someone's home. We ordered a platter of skewers, smoked quail eggs, and fried chicken, among other dishes. The complimentary cucumber with miso dip was addictive! The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and all the dishes were delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling very satisfied. It felt like we were having a cozy home-cooked meal, and it was a delightful experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal! 😊
