I really wanted to eat something rich in flavor, so I visited this chain restaurant for lunch on Sunday! I have been a fan of this place since my student days! It was great that you could choose the amount of noodles for the same price, giving a sense of value! However, the taste seemed to have changed a bit from the past, which made me feel a little sad.

Chain restaurant, but delicious tsukemen‼️ There is a pitcher on the table filled with water and lemon slices. It leaves a refreshing feeling in your mouth! I had the mild spiciness level 1, while my partner had the spicy tsukemen! Wearing an apron to avoid getting soup in our eyes, we carefully dipped the noodles in the soup and savored each bite. The soup contained chunks of chashu, sinachiku, and seaweed. The seaweed absorbed the soup and gave a spicy kick at the back of the throat. We both sweated a bit, but enjoyed every bit of it and finished our bowls. The normal karatsukemen was also just right in richness and spiciness! Despite the 1kg of noodles, the soup was so tasty that it could be enjoyed on its own. I really liked the fact that we could easily go without waiting in line to enjoy delicious tsukemen. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go back again( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )

I was interested in the summer limited cold dipping noodles, so I visited the restaurant around 9:30 pm. Despite the late hour, there were about 15 people inside and it was quite busy. It took about 10 minutes to place my order. I chose the large serving of salted sea bream dipping noodles (880 yen). The noodles were not very cold, which was disappointing. The dipping sauce itself wasn't very cold either, and the flavor was a bit weak for dipping noodles. The soup was a little on the strong side, but still drinkable. The chicken in the dipping sauce had a slight smell, probably because the sea bream base is very light and can easily pick up any animal odors. Overall, I am unlikely to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch time was in the Umeda area. Seeking to blow away the heat, I decided to go for spiciness at a different restaurant. I visited the familiar "Mita Seimenjo" Umeda branch. I was originally planning to try their summer limited "extremely spicy scorching tsukemen", but it looked dangerously spicy, so I opted for their regular menu "spicy tsukemen" for 990 yen. I chose the medium size (450g) for the noodles. As expected from their regular menu, the spiciness was balanced with a seafood broth, creating a smooth and spicy flavor. Of course, I finished every last drop of the soup with the soup refill. Grateful for a healthy body today.

Today's report is about Kuidore, where they have a special event called "Mita Day" once a month. On this lucky day, you can get the "Mita Mori" topping for free, which is usually priced at 220 yen. I hurried over to the location in Umeda for lunch to take advantage of this offer. I was intrigued by the special "Hiyashi Ta-dashi Shio Tsukemen" for 880 yen, so I ordered that along with the free "Mita Mori" topping. The toppings included boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and surprisingly, chashu which didn't quite fit the fish broth theme. The dipping sauce was quite salty as expected, with shredded fish meat and greens mixed in. The cold thick noodles were quite filling, but I hesitated to add the soup at the end. Nonetheless, I am grateful for another healthy meal today.

I went to see flowers with my family and when it was lunchtime, we stumbled upon Mita Seimenjo Umeda branch. Although I have seen this chain of restaurants before, I had never been inside. I decided to try their fish and pork bone dipping noodles. The noodles that arrived were quite thick, with a good chewy texture and a hint of sweetness. The toppings in the dipping sauce were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the thick bamboo shoots. Before I knew it, I had finished the noodles in no time! The soup that came with it was also very tasty. Mita Seimenjo, I'll be back! Thank you for the meal!

Today's lunch time was in the Umeda area, a little to the east, and I was in the mood for tsukemen. I decided to go to the classic "Mita Seimenjo" Umeda branch. However, I was intrigued by a large sign advertising a "limited time" menu. I decided to give it a try, even though it was a bit more expensive at 990 yen with no toppings. After a 10-minute wait, my dish arrived. The presentation was a bit sloppy, but I appreciated the enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste the shrimp flavor as much as I had hoped. It seemed like they had increased the amount of shrimp powder, which was sprinkled on top of the nori with a pink powder. The soup also had diced pork in it, but it lacked that distinct savory aroma you would expect from shrimp or crab. Whether it was the shell or the miso, shellfish dishes require that special aroma. It seems like creating limited edition menus can be quite challenging. I am grateful for my health today.

The combination of soup and noodles can be chosen from tonkotsu seafood broth with thick noodles, or light broth with thin noodles, and you can also choose from 5 different noodle portion sizes. This time, I opted for the C set with egg and vegetable toppings. I went for a slightly larger portion of noodles, 450g, with a firm texture, served cold. The medium portion turned out to be quite filling with a good amount of noodles. Tsukemen usually leaves some soup leftover, but with this set, the soup was mostly used up due to the vegetable toppings and thick noodles. The rich soup had diced chashu and sinachiku peeking through. The seafood flavor wasn't too overpowering, so even those who are not fans of seafood should be fine. A word of caution - wearing the paper apron is a good idea as the soup tends to splatter. Make sure to tie it securely as it can come loose and cause a mess (laughs). Mita Seimenjo Umeda branch.

I went to Mita Seimenjo located behind HEP after coming out of Hankyu Umeda Station. I had the Ebi Tsukemen with Niku Negi Gohan set for 1400 yen. The chain restaurant was spacious, which was convenient as I had a lot of luggage and no time to store it. The limited menu changes monthly or seasonally, and this time they offered the Ebi Tsukemen. The base was a tonkotsu and seafood dipping sauce with a strong shrimp flavor from the shrimp oil. The dipping sauce also had shredded meat in it. The noodles were thick and chewy. The seasoned egg was a bit small. This place is good for a basic tsukemen when you're in a pinch. Thank you for the meal.

I recommend this place for tsukemen in Umeda. First, a hot broth is served to prevent it from getting cold while you eat the tsukemen. There are dried bonito flakes on top of the seaweed, floating in the broth. Mixing these ingredients well allows the broth to coat the thick noodles nicely. The noodles are thick and the portion size ranges from regular to large, all for the same price. The large portion is 580g, which is quite a lot. The photo shown is of the large portion, and even though I eat a lot, I almost couldn't finish it towards the end, but managed to. Adding an extra slice of chashu costs 990 yen. Great value! It's a favorite among salarymen.

I visited Mita Seimenjo, a ramen shop in Umeda known for its huge portions. I tried their super-sized tsukemen with 1 kilogram of noodles for 1000 yen. You can also get free refills of soup, making it a great deal. The portion size is satisfying, the flavor is rich, and you won't get tired of it. Definitely worth a try!

Order menu: Tsukemen (dipping noodles) medium size for 880 yen. Located a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station, this tsukemen restaurant offers a satisfying portion even in medium size. With various condiments available, you can enjoy changing the flavor. At the end, you can finish off with the soup provided at the beginning, saying "Thank you for the meal!" I left feeling full and satisfied!

This time, I chose the spicy tsukemen with the Mita Mori topping. It was reliably delicious. I was able to enjoy it until the end by using unique seasonings like garlic seven spice and bonito salt on the table for flavor changes. It was a weekday night, and the restaurant was almost full, but I didn't feel rushed and was able to eat slowly. The staff were brisk and recommended dishes, which left a great impression. I will definitely stop by when I come to Umeda again. Thank you for the meal.

Mita Seimenjo Umeda Store @ Osaka Umeda / Super Jumbo Tsukemen
As the second day of our date was coming to an end in the evening, we headed to Shin-Osaka where our car was parked, but before that, we decided to have a quick dinner in Umeda. With my girlfriend's permission, we headed to Mita Seimenjo in Umeda. It had been about 10 years since I last visited Mita Seimen in Umeda, so it felt like a long time. We were able to enter without waiting, but for some reason, the couple in front of us was seated at a table while we were directed to the counter seats. I wonder why there was this difference? Well, I'm not angry about it, just find it curious.
Looking at the menu, we already knew what we wanted to order. So, we went for the super jumbo tsukemen that we had been craving. After a short wait, the dish arrived. The super jumbo tsukemen was served in a bowl with noodles, and I couldn't help but wonder, is this really 1 kg of noodles? It didn't look much different from the 800g version I had tried before. The medium-thick noodles were firm with a good chew, but they didn't seem to mix well with the soup, which had a typical tonkotsu and seafood flavor. I vaguely remember the soup being richer in the past, so I was a bit surprised.
I was prepared to face a challenge with 1 kg of noodles, but I ended up finishing it without much effort. I'm not sure if the noodles were 1 kg before or after cooking, as I didn't ask, but most likely it was after cooking. I left the restaurant feeling a bit disappointed, as if I had been let down.

I was hesitant between getting the usual Mita Mori set, but decided to be adventurous and ordered the Special Thick Niboshi Tsukemen for 990 yen. You can choose regular or large size for the same price, and for an extra 100 yen, you can get the special size. They use a lot of Niboshi from the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture, and you can really taste the goodness of seafood from the aroma. The sauce also seems richer than usual. I declined the paper apron, but you have to eat slowly and carefully because the sauce tends to splash around. Maybe that's because it's so rich. It seems like it's available until the end of November, so I plan to go back within that period. Thank you for the meal!

Mita Seimenjo in Kitashinchi area is known for their rich seafood and pork bone tsukemen. Recently, I came across their summer limited edition dish, cold tsukemen, while passing by their location near Nakazaki area. I couldn't resist trying it out. I ordered the "Cold Tai Dashi Shio Tsukemen (with rice set) for 980 yen." The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. Contrary to the menu's visual, the green gradient dipping sauce and sparkling noodles were visually stunning. The cold dipping sauce, slightly saltier than tai dashi, paired perfectly with the firm noodles, providing a refreshing and satisfying taste. The dish also included tai fish meat and thinly sliced menma for added texture. I enjoyed slurping up the noodles while generously dipping them in the sauce. After finishing the noodles, I added the rice into the dipping sauce to enjoy a flavorful cold ochazuke with a stronger saltiness and a hint of shiso. The dish was so delicious that I finished it in no time.

I went around 8 o'clock at night and was seated immediately. There were plenty of seats and the place was spacious. It's located near Hep in Umeda, so it's easy to get to. This time, I ordered the limited edition tai (sea bream) dipping noodles. I thought I preferred rich dipping noodles, but even the light one was delicious. It came with lemon which added a nice twist to the flavor. The tai dipping noodles had thin noodles that were easy to eat and had a nice texture. I was able to change it to a large serving for free, which was great. I was full with the large serving. The broth of the other dipping noodles was also delicious and it paired well with the noodles.

Mita Seimenjo Umeda branch
I came to Umeda for a vaccine and decided to visit this place after a long time. Located right in the heart of Umeda, the rich seafood tonkotsu broth was delicious, and all of this for only 790 yen. I once again realized that this is an amazing restaurant.

On the weekend, my wife and I went shopping in Umeda, and my favorite part was lunch. We ended up at Mita Seimenjo, a ramen shop specializing in tsukemen, located just outside the food court. I have eaten at Mita Seimenjo in Dojima Underground Center a few times, but it was my wife's first time and she was very interested. The shop had a clean and spacious interior with a white wood theme. We ordered the spicy tsukemen with a thick fish and pork bone broth, opting for a medium serving of 450g. The noodles looked delicious with a shiny appearance. The dipping sauce had fish powder on top of seaweed. The noodles were thick and chewy, with excellent drainage to prevent the soup from becoming diluted. When slurped, the noodles had a rich flavor of pork bone, fish powder, and the direct heat of chili oil that made me almost choke. Despite sweating profusely, I could eat endlessly. The tsukemen also came with thick slices of chashu and a mix of chicken and pork meat. There was no soup left at the end to dilute and drink. My wife had the regular serving of the rich shrimp tsukemen, which she enjoyed and was satisfied with. Thank you for the meal.

I did it again. I made the audacious move of ordering a menu item that is not labeled as a specialty in the so-called side menu. It was the Tori Karaage Don, which won the Gold Award in the East Japan Soy Sauce Division at the Karaage Grand Prix (11th edition). The name is written in hiragana as Tori Kara Don. Hmm, everyone around me was having tsukemen, but I really wanted to try the Gold Award-winning chicken karaage. The taste swings between spicy and juicy. The combination of cabbage and mayo goes really well with the soy sauce dressing, and of course, the crispy texture of the karaage paired with the rich soy sauce dressing is exquisite. The Wakame soup that comes with it, all for a reasonable price of 690 yen, is also great. Next time, I will definitely try the tsukemen. Mita Seimenjo Umeda branch.
