I was browsing the website of Hotto Motto and came across a menu item that caught my attention. It seemed to be a limited-time offer, so I decided to try it before it's gone. I visited the store closest to my home, as it is also conveniently located near my workplace. I arrived at the store around 13:35 and found only two other customers inside. I checked the menu on the wall and luckily, the item I wanted was still available, labeled as "ending soon." I ordered the Grilled Pacific Saury Bento with Mochi Barley Rice (large size for an additional 80 yen) at the register and waited. The meal was ready in about 5 minutes, so I took it home. The grilled saury was perfectly seasoned, with a crispy exterior and tender, fatty flesh inside. It was delicious. The white fish croquette was also soft and tasty. The tempura chikuwa was decent. The meal also included tamagoyaki, spinach simmered in broth, pickles, and more. The rice with bonito flakes was a nice touch, and I drizzled some low-sodium soy sauce on it. I love mochi barley, so I opted for the large size for a satisfying meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and finished the meal with ease. I don't often have the chance to eat grilled fish, so this was a treat. Keep an eye on their website for more limited-time menu items. The total cost was 610 yen, which I found to be reasonable. Since it's close to my home, I'll definitely visit again in the future.
