I visited a dining bar with a friend for a second round, which is often featured in the information magazine "Nasse". The place is located in Uomachi 1-chome, on the 2nd floor of the KRISS building. The interior of the restaurant has sofa seats, creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can spend a leisurely time. The lighting is dimmed, and there are tropical fish tanks illuminated in blue, creating a fantastical underwater vibe. The drink menu offers a limited variety, with a focus on cocktails, but they also have beer, whiskey, sake, shochu, and wine. Unfortunately, they do not offer bourbon or scotch, which is a bit disappointing. As it is a dining bar, the food menu is extensive. We ordered an original cocktail called "Columbus" and "Trident", but the descriptions were unclear, and the cocktails turned out to be simple and sweet. We also tried the hot wine and clam chowder, which were comforting on a cold day. Despite some minor drawbacks like the forgetful staff leaving the door open in the cold, the overall ambiance of the restaurant, especially the mesmerizing fish tanks, made up for it. The place is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary soon.

There are also couple seats where you can enjoy drinks while being surrounded by the fish. They offer single item all-you-can-drink. You can order by scanning a QR code with your phone. The drink menu is extensive and the drinks are stylish. It's a great place for a date, or when you want to relax quietly while enjoying the fish. It's also a good place to take children who love fish. The staff were very friendly. You can smoke electronic cigarettes inside. I didn't eat much, but the homemade avocado tartar sauce was delicious. The pizza was fluffy and tasty. The pasta has flat noodles, which may be a matter of preference. The parfait was also beautiful. It was truly a wonderful restaurant.

And I clearly felt out of place... But I regained my composure and stuck to my original plan, ordering the fish burger. The bread, which was like French bread, was distinctive and delicious. I really like this type of bread. The potatoes had spices on them, so I didn't get tired of eating them. The red tartar sauce was eye-catching, but I still don't know what's in it (lol). The atmosphere is very nice, but the food tastes like a family restaurant and seems slightly overpriced. We were also charged an entrance fee. All seats are equipped with aquariums and you can enjoy fish burgers and shrimp burgers surrounded by tropical fish in a relaxed sofa seat. I chose the shrimp burger using "The Angel Shrimp". It consists of two large shrimp tempura, homemade tartar sauce with avocado, and original buns with a fish brand. The shrimp is fried crispy and fragrant, so you can eat it whole from head to tail. It also comes with salsa sauce and cheese sauce for flavor variation. I chose craft ginger ale for the soft drink, and it was also very delicious with a spicy ginger flavor. We used a party room for our second party. We brought snacks from the convenience store since it was a bring-your-own-food event with all-you-can-drink option. Drinks were available in the room's fridge for self-service. There were karaoke and table games, so it was sure to be a fun and lively time.

Aquarium dining. As you enter, there are tanks lined up with blue lights shining on a large tank halfway through. The private rooms are divided by curtains, with small tanks at each table. Our table had a tank with two Nemos. The atmosphere is nice. Orders are all done through a touch panel system. This time we ordered the cheese fondue hamburger set for around 2500 yen. All-you-can-drink is available for an additional charge. The vegetable selection for the fondue included cucumbers and a few other veggies. The sauce was delicious but the portion was a bit small. I wish they had given a bit more. The bread was all-you-can-eat with three types available for an additional charge. There was also shrimp consomme jelly and potato salad with crispy bacon on top, which was tasty. For the course, we could choose between foie gras kamameshi and pasta, and we chose the foie gras kamameshi. They cooked the foie gras kamameshi in front of us on an IH stove, mixing in the foie gras afterwards. The foie gras was soft and included mushrooms, which made it easy to eat even for someone like me who isn't a big fan of foie gras. My companion, who loves foie gras, was very satisfied with the foie gras sauce at the bottom of the fondue dish and the kamameshi. They also provided some unique hospitality, such as expanding solid towels and pouring cheese on the cheese fondue hamburger right in front of you. For dessert, there was black sesame pudding with a bite of matcha ice cream on top. The drink menu for all-you-can-drink had a wide variety of cocktails, including sparkling wine for mimosas and other sparkling wine cocktails. Unfortunately, our all-you-can-drink time ran out before we finished our course, but we were able to extend it for an additional charge in 30-minute increments. I arrived around 8:00 pm without a reservation and the restaurant was full, but luckily there was a cancellation and I was able to get a table after a 10-minute wait. Some walk-in customers who arrived after me were turned away, so I was lucky with the timing. I enjoyed delicious food and drinks while gazing at the aquarium lit up with blue lights. The complimentary dish was marinated whitebait with bread, which had a nice balance of saltiness and umami. It went well with the bread and made for a great appetizer. I ordered a glass of sparkling red wine, which had a slightly soft carbonation. The quiche was served warm and had a crispy tart shell with creamy filling, making it a perfect snack. The homemade roast beef was moist and flavorful, especially when paired with gravy sauce and grain mustard. Thank you for the meal.

I used a couple's seat for the first time. There was a fish tank in front of me... It felt like a private room and I was able to relax very much. The appetizers were okay in terms of taste, but the main dish was not very delicious. The atmosphere was very nice so I will use it again.

This is probably one of the most stylish dining bars in Kitakyushu that has been around for a long time. The interior has a very stylish atmosphere that women will love, with things like aquariums and chandeliers. You'll have to see it for yourself. As for the food, it's quite ordinary. Not particularly delicious or bad, just average. They have a wide variety of drinks, so I think it's a recommended place for young couples or girls' night out. However, I wouldn't recommend it for adults looking for exceptional cuisine.

I visited this place about 10 years ago with a group, not alone. One of the members really liked this place, so we had high expectations, but honestly, the food left a lot to be desired. The restaurant is stylish and good for dates. Even though we visited as a couple, the atmosphere was nice, but the food didn't match up. It would have been better to eat the same dishes at a dirty restaurant than here. I visited again for a party, and the food was still average, but in Kitakyushu, many places offer disappointing party courses, so this place is still decent. The atmosphere is a strong point, especially for gatherings where many people come together. Many parties end up being forgettable, but this atmosphere definitely leaves a deep impact.
