Today I went on an expedition to Toyonaka City. With a tight schedule in the afternoon, I needed to grab lunch between 12:30 and 1:00. I decided to quickly buy some bread from the bakery "Pan Kobo" attached to MaxValu nearby and eat in the car. I arrived around 12:30 and found a parking spot easily due to the rain and non-peak hours. I couldn't decide what to eat, but ended up buying three Danish pastries impulsively. I mistakenly thought I was buying a salted red bean bun, but it turned out to be a roll bread with salt sprinkled on top. I also got a freshly baked Tiger Cheese Fondue, which had a crispy crust and creamy cheese filling. The white bread with condensed milk cream was soft and filling. I finished with a cup of tea, feeling satisfied and content. Later, I found out that the bakery is operated by Aeon Bakery and is located in Aeon stores nationwide. I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

This is a bakery located in Aeon Midorigaoka. The atmosphere is not great as it is inside a supermarket, but the bread is quite delicious. They have a variety of bread, from meal bread to sweet bread, with cute names. My son, who used to love the addictive dog from Saint Marc Café, was satisfied with the long bread here. A full loaf is 298 yen, while a half loaf is 150 yen. You can buy 7 pieces for around 1300 yen, ranging from 128 yen to 298 yen. There is a small eat-in space at the back.

There is a bakery in MaxValu at Ion Town Toyonaka Midorigaoka. It is takeout only, but there is an eat-in space inside MaxValu. The bakery has its own separate cash register, so you don't have to line up at MaxValu's register, which is convenient. After 7:30 pm, they have a time sale where almost all breads are priced at 105 yen, making it a good deal. However, when the time sale starts, the older ladies rush in, grabbing tongs and trays, creating a long line, so be careful not to get caught up in the chaos. Of course, being an Ion group store, if you show your Ion card on the 20th and 30th of the month, the price drops to 99 yen, making it even more affordable. Listing the breads I have tried in order of recommendation... German Frank: A sandwich with sausage, potato, and cheese, even when the sausage is cold, it is quite delicious, the best I've had of this kind of bread. Danish Chocolate for 160 yen: A pastry with a slightly bitter chocolate filling, quite tasty. Aomori Apple Danish for 158 yen: There is hardly any apple in it, and the custard is a bit too sweet, just average. I wish they had drinks available.

There are various bread samples available for tasting, and if I find one that I like, I end up buying it. Although they are a bit pricey, they are definitely tastier than the 100 yen bakery bread. I enjoy buying soft and fluffy bread like Heidi's white bread, then filling it with cheese or croquettes at home. With a wide variety of dessert-like bread to savory options, it's hard to choose just one. I remember that the prices go down as the night goes on.
