I heard that the chef at this restaurant is from Pizzarium Bonci in Rome, which is my favorite pizza place in the world. When I visited Italy, multiple chefs recommended Pizzarium to me. However, the conclusion about this restaurant is that the dough is of very high quality, but the toppings are lacking. The appearance is also completely different, which is disappointing. It seems that the high quality ingredients in Italy would make the prices very expensive in Japan, so I understand the situation. The skill in making the dough is likely high, but currently it may not be worth traveling far for. Nevertheless, the quality of the pizza available for takeout is quite good, and the dough is completely different from typical pizza, so if you want to experience something unique, I recommend trying it. Many chefs who have trained in Italy tend to have a more casual approach, but I would be interested in visiting if a more high-end pizzeria were to open.

Roast beef without vegetables, measured by grams. About 100g is equivalent to roughly 3 slices of meat. The grilled vegetables had a sweet flavor and were delicious. For dinner, there are 3 types of appetizers for ¥650. This time, the blue cheese potato salad, root vegetable and chicken with mustard, and duck and celery salad were all around 100g for ¥400 each, so quite affordable. The overall taste was mild. The quiche is ¥300. For lunch, you can get 3 appetizers and a pizza for ¥500, so I would like to try that next time. By adding LINE, you can get 15% off for the first visit and 10% off for the second visit.

"Located on the first floor of the multi-use facility Ropponmatsu 421, "Pizza Al Taio" is a takeout-only shop specializing in pizza and Italian deli items. On this particular Saturday, my partner and I were on our usual drive to Itoshima. On the way back, my partner suddenly said, "I want pizza. Let's stop by Al Taio!" As the designated driver, I simply replied, "Understood." At Al Taio, we found square-cut pizzas in various flavors, as well as a selection of Italian deli items. That day, we opted for the following items for takeout: - Pistachio and eggplant, mortadella pizza (excluding tax: 480 yen) - Pumpkin paste and meat sauce pizza (excluding tax: 480 yen) - Duck and celery salad (excluding tax: 100g for 450 yen) - Marinated sardines (excluding tax: 5 pieces for 400 yen) Back at home, we reheated the pizzas in the toaster oven. These Roman-style pizzas have a different texture from Neapolitan pizzas, being more crispy than soft and chewy. Among the ones we tried, the pumpkin paste and meat sauce pizza stood out as particularly delicious. The marinated sardines and duck and celery salad were also enjoyable, especially paired with chilled white wine. We will definitely be back to Pizza Al Taio. P.S. The service from the staff, especially the young woman working there, was exceptional. When we selected two pizzas, she mentioned that they were new additions to the menu with a smile. She even added an extra sardine to our order to make it an even number, showing attention to detail and making us feel appreciated. It may seem like a small gesture, but it truly made our experience even better. Thank you very much. <(_ _)>"

The difference between pizza and altare pizza is that pizza originated from Italy, while altare pizza came from America via Italy. The Parmesan cheese commonly consumed in Japan is typically made by the American company Kraft. The original Parmesan cheese from Italy, Parmigiano-Reggiano, is made using traditional methods in the Parma and Reggio regions, and only cheeses with the DPO stamp can be labeled as Parmesan cheese in EU member countries. Kraft's Parmesan cheese is made using the same method as Parmigiano-Reggiano, but it is not true Parmesan cheese in the strictest sense. The concept of pizza originated in Naples, where round pizzas are popular, while in Rome and northern Italy, square pizzas are more common for takeout and home consumption. Altare, previously located in Yahata, Fukuoka, has now moved to Ropponmatsu. The shop offers a set of three pizzas for around 1000 yen, allowing customers to savor the taste of the ingredients without the typical delivery pizza experience. The Margherita pizza, with its tomato acidity and fresh basil aroma, is particularly delightful. Altare provides instructions for baking the pizzas in a pan if a toaster is not available. This authentic Italian pizza experience at Altare in Ropponmatsu, Fukuoka, is a must-try for those seeking a true taste of Italy.

A shop in Fukuoka that offers Roman-style pizza by weight. I ordered a pizza with sardines, broccoli, and mozzarella. The crust was thick but crispy, and the dough was delicious. I have tried their frozen pizzas before, but this time I went to the shop, had it baked in the oven on the spot, and enjoyed it in the eat-in area. They cut the square pizza for takeout, with prices around 300 yen for 100 grams, and I paid around 500 yen for 150 grams this time. They also sell deli items, like marinated sardines used in the pizza, which cost 400 yen for 5 pieces. It's tasty but a bit pricey, so it's not as budget-friendly as the Roman-style pizza by weight.

I visited a special exhibition at the Fukuoka City Science Museum (Sukesuke Exhibition - The World of Mechanisms That Look Transparent) and then happened to stop by a shop where I bought the following pizzas: - Potato and homemade sausage 100g \300 + tax - Margherita with fresh basil 100g \340 + tax - Porchetta* (1) with scallions and Taleggio cheese* (2) 100g \340 + tax I had each of these pizzas cut into slices of around 100g each. * (1) Porchetta... an Italian dish made by roasting pork with plenty of herbs. It looks similar to char siu, and was being sold in the store for 50g \450 + tax. * (2) Taleggio cheese... a washed-rind cheese that originates from the Taleggio Valley in northern Italy. It has a very soft and creamy texture. The pizza dough itself was delicious, and all the flavors were satisfying, but it was a bit on the expensive side. Well, I guess I can consider it a "luxury treat"!

This shop is located on the first floor of a building called "Rokumonmatsu 421" right next to Rokumonmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Line of the subway, inside which Fukuoka City Science and Culture Hall is located. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building, but it is expensive. There is also a bicycle parking area. It is located in one corner of the building where several shops are housed. They mainly sell pizza, but also have side dishes. The pizzas were displayed very stylishly, making it hard to choose. The person who seemed to be the manager explained various things and recommended some items, so I bought them. They specialize in takeout, so instructions on how to bake the pizza at home were provided. They can also bake it for you on the spot, but it's more like warming it up. I thought there would be ham, but it turned out to be sausage. I also tried the potato pizza, which they have been making since the establishment. I forgot the fancy name of it (laughs). I baked them at home and the potato pizza was a good choice! The sausage one became a bit greasy. I think toasting it would be the best. Both pizzas were very tasty and flavorful. The mackerel confit also looked delicious, but I resisted this time. I also bought one side dish, which was a tomato stew made from autumn vegetables from Itoshima... oh, I forgot the name. It was very moist and delicious! Overall, everything was delicious and a hit! They seem to be particular about the processed products like sausages they use. It looks delicious. They also have a selection of wines that seem to go well with the food. It's a great place to relax and enjoy wine. They also offer appetizers. They all look delicious, and I would love to try them if I have the chance. It's perfect for parties. Thank you for the meal!

A new store report on Alteio, a pizza shop at Rokumonsu 421. You can buy large square pizzas by weight, with a colorful and beautiful display. They offer a set of 6 varieties for 2138 yen. The pizzas are cut with scissors and presented in pretty boxes. The toppings include potato and homemade sausage, eggplant marinated in rosemary, Parma ham with arugula, duck tomato stew with porcini cream sauce, cherry tomato with anchovy and ricotta cheese, pumpkin paste with sautéed spinach and blue cheese. The portions are generous, and even a single slice can be filling. The reviewer found it delicious, although most of it was eaten by children. Contact Alteio at 092-753-8911, located at Rokumonsu 4-2-1, Fukuoka City, Chuo Ward.

Potato and homemade sausage for 507 yen. It looks like fluffy bread dough, but the sauce and filling are thick, making it a sink crust. The dough is delicious, but the thick white sauce is very Japanese... very ordinary. A more orthodox tomato-based sauce might be better.

The owner, who has trained in Spain and Italy, has a wealth of experience, so you can trust the taste. The shop started in a small standing bar under the Hirao overpass, then moved to Yayoi in Sawara-ku, and now it's in Ropponmatsu. The owner is very curious, so there are a lot of toppings for the pizza. But the classic Margherita with the aroma of basil is the best. The side dishes are also of a high standard. The shop now seems to be run by attentive staff while the owner battles it out in the central kitchen every day. It might be a rare case if you get to meet the owner. Just be careful not to buy too much, as it can get quite expensive with all the tempting options available.
