I went to see the master's face after a long time. When I entered, there were acquaintances and I had a fun conversation. I like the gratin here, so I always visit early, this day was before 2 o'clock. I always order the gyoza too. The master seemed a little under the weather, but said he was feeling better that day. Visited the restaurant with a senior colleague after 2-3 months. The beer is always cheap whenever we come during happy hour! The prices are so surprising that my senior colleague is also amazed, and it's easy to make friends with someone every time we come. We plan to hop to another place, so we left after a light meal. This is my favorite restaurant. It's cheap and delicious, my go-to dishes are always gratin and gyoza. I make sure to go early because the gratin sells out quickly, so I always go before 2 o'clock. I love the chewy texture of the gyoza wrappers, so I always order them too. The owner even gave me some okonomiyaki as a gift, which was delicious. The owner is calm and always makes me feel relaxed whenever I visit. Thank you for the meal!

Back number dome tour on Saturday, March 18, 2023! First day in Osaka!! Before that, we visited for lunch as well! Open at 2pm! We entered right away. There was a regular customer sitting alone. After that, more and more customers came in, and by the time we left, the restaurant was full and lively. The master was friendly and the food was incredibly enjoyable with great value!! During happy hour, you could have all-you-can-drink beer, highball, and chu-hai for only 280 yen each!! We drank a lot (laughs). Every dish was delicious ❤️( ゚Д゚)ウマー Especially the homemade gyoza, sasami mentaiko fry, and shiitake mushroom stuffed fry! They were so delicious that we ordered seconds!! (laughs) In the packed restaurant, we had a fun time chatting with the people next to us! The amazing atmosphere was all thanks to the owner's personality ✨️ It was so much fun (laughs). We paid in cash! The total for two people was 2680 yen!! So cheap!! ✨✨ If it's nearby, I would definitely want to visit this standing bar again. Thank you for the meal!

JR Taisho Station actually has a small "i" in it! It's not "Mitchy," it's actually "Mitchy" with an extra "i"! Well, I ended up getting sucked in after having a drink at Minoriya. It was indeed a lot, so we were grateful for the advice. This day was a Sunday, and with people heading to baseball games and the master warming up, the conversation was lively. I was surprised to hear the master's age, as he didn't look his age at all! In the end, I had planned to have just one drink, but ended up having two. "It's a happiness to be able to drink while it's still bright out," the phrase on the store's sign really resonates with me!

Mi-chi is standing in front of Taisho Station for the first time. Happy hour is from 2 pm to 6 pm for 5 hours! Really happy, isn't it? With beer, shochu highball, and highball all priced at 250 yen, I entered the store while glancing at the sign. First, I ordered a chu-hi. The counter's display case is filled with "Today's recommendations!" From the recommendations, I ordered the spicy Za-saimenma and grilled nagaimo tororo, both priced at 180 yen each. The drink menu was complete, with a slightly limited selection of appetizers ranging from 200 yen to a maximum of 400 yen for yakisoba. (Prices include tax) Beer 350 yen → 250 yen First, cheers with a beer! During the happy hour from opening until 6:00 pm, various drinks such as beer, highball, and chu-hai are discounted! (I remember it was 200 yen when I visited 4 years ago, times have changed.) The beer. The beer mug was ice-cold and every sip turned it into a frozen beer! (laughs) Highball 320 yen → 250 yen Second drink without any appetizers. Black edamame 180 yen The classic edamame is black edamame, a little more luxurious. It has a strong aroma. There were 29 beans in it (counting is a bit stingy). Chu-hai (Shiikwasa) 320 yen → 250 yen The shiikwasa liquid is a 100% concentrated type without any dilution, right? It's rich and delicious. Let's go to the standing bar Mitchy at Taisho Station. It is located on the west side of the JR Loop Line tracks. Let's enjoy it fully even though it's still bright out. Even though it's bright, the counter is almost full. Looking at the menu, it's surprisingly cheap. I'll have a lemon chu-hi. When I order Zuri-pon vinegar, it's already sold out. I'll order the salt-grilled squid instead. It's only 200 yen, which seems too cheap. The squid is plump and delicious. I'll also add some kushikatsu. Oh, this place is in Osaka but they call it kushiage instead of kushikatsu. I'll have 2 pieces of pork tenderloin kushiage. It comes with tonkatsu sauce on the side. Since it's tenderloin, it's not fatty. I'll also order the tempura. In Kansai, they call fried fish paste tempura. It's like enoki mushroom tempura and small fish tempura. They are not just cut, but slightly grilled as well. The total comes to 830 yen. So cheap! So cheap! So cheap!

On my day off, after finishing some errands, I went to a shop I had been wanting to try. It's called "Tachinomi Michi." It's located very close to Taisho Station and is a standing bar that opens from 2 pm during the day. From opening until 6 pm, they have a Happy Hour where you can drink a glass of draft beer, highball, or chu-hi for only 250 yen. The snacks are also cheap. Even during regular hours, the drinks are affordable. You can enjoy Senbero. The atmosphere inside the shop is lively, even during the day, with people taking a break or leaving work early. I had some potato salad, which was not only cheap but also delicious. I also tried the recommended chicken cutlet for that day. It may not be luxurious, but it was crispy and tasty. It gives you a sense of getting a good deal. No need to stay long. As it started to get crowded, I left for this time. I would love to go again. Thank you for the meal.

Lion also joined in with the order - egg potato salad and various drinks. It was a quick stop for a drink, and Mitchy-san's homemade dishes, like the potato spaghetti salad, were a hit. The random cut of the eggs added a cozy touch. The double combination of potato and spaghetti salad felt luxurious. I forgot the price of bottled beer, but it was cost-effective! Above all, the love of the regulars is amazing! Some say they only come here to drink in the Taisho area. There's even a drink named "Mitchy" at the bar! Besides the food, just experiencing the unique atmosphere here is a valuable and special experience. What is "normal" anyway? Well, that's a question I often have, but feeling it firsthand is eye-opening. The world is wide and full of fixed ideas, but living freely is wonderful! Lion is determined to stick to their own style! It was a night where I experienced the true essence of standing drinking at this standing bar, where you can experience the greatness of standing drinking culture.

Suspicious looking place at first, but the customers inside were even more suspicious (laughs). There were no seats available, but the regulars squeezed in to make room for me. It's mostly regulars here, but I heard that first-timers also come occasionally. The atmosphere is intense, but in a good way (laughs). The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to, so it's fine to come alone, but it might be more reassuring with a friend or two due to the intense vibe (laughs). I had a great time chatting with the regulars. The food menu seems to be typical for standing bars, but the prices are unbelievably cheap at 180 yen. The drinks are also very affordable. I'll probably visit again.
