Actually, this was my first visit, but the other day, the landlord of the managed property invited me, so I visited Ramen Ryunoie Harugasaki Shirozu store. Ryunoie is a very famous chain of tonkotsu ramen, with its main store in Kurume, and branches in Kumamoto and Tokyo, so I was well aware of its reputation, but for some reason, I hadn't had the chance to visit until now. So, with a nervous heart, I headed there for my first visit. The restaurant is located within a commercial facility developed on the site of a former golf course, with many large stores such as K's Denki, Nafco, Uniqlo, Shimamura, GU, etc. lined up, and it is located within the Miss Max Harugasaki Shopping Center. There is a Saizeriya next door, and both were quite busy during lunchtime. The parking lot was spacious, so I parked there and met up with the customer before entering the store. Inside the store, on the left side after entering, there is the kitchen and counter, and on the right side, there are round tables with a design inspired by tree rings, creating a calm atmosphere with wood as the main theme. The store is mainly run by female staff. I was guided to a table near the entrance, and when I looked at the menu, there were two types of basic ramen, rich flavor and pure flavor. The rich flavor has lard, spicy miso, and sesame oil, with the flavor of garlic and caramelized onions, creating a rich bowl, while the pure flavor is a basic, smooth soup. It seemed like the rich flavor was the standard here, but since the customer ordered the rich flavor, and I thought starting with something simple would be good, I ordered the pure flavor with a seasoned egg set, fried rice, and gyoza. Then, I was suggested to add gyoza to the rich flavor set as it would be cheaper, so I agreed. The ramen and fried rice arrived almost at the same time, with the gyoza coming a little later! The ramen had a very smooth, creamy tonkotsu soup, and because it lacked a distinctive taste, I could understand why it needed additional flavors like spiciness or garlic. That's where the rich flavor comes in. However, the pure flavor seemed stable, and you could tell that it was finished by simmering a large amount of pork bones for a long time. The noodles were ordinary, but had a nice firmness. The chashu was two slices, with wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and a seasoned egg as toppings. Everything was delicious above average. Towards the end, I added pickled mustard greens, and they paired perfectly with the soup. The fried rice was light and quite delicious too. The gyoza was a standard size, very juicy, and incredibly tasty, perhaps because they incorporated lard into it. After finishing everything, I couldn't help but be curious, so I ordered the melting pudding. Why do desserts in ramen shops always look so delicious...? Moreover, with a name like "melting pudding," you just have to try it! The pudding that came out had a coconut milk-like topping on the surface, and the inside was a melting type of pudding with a flavor similar to almond jelly. When I tried it, the combination of the melting pudding and the almond jelly-like flavor was of a high level. Honestly, the pudding was more delicious than I had imagined (^-^) I haven't tried the rich flavor ramen, so in a true sense, I may not have fully experienced Ryunoie, but the quality of the fried rice, gyoza, and melting pudding, along with the excellent service, was impressive. I can understand why it's so popular. If I have the chance, I would like to try the rich flavor next time (^-^) Thank you for the meal <m(_ _)m> #Ryunoie #Harugasaki Shirozu store #Miss Max Harugasaki Shopping Mall #Harugasaki store #Parking available #Pure flavor #Fried rice #Gyoza #Melting pudding #Tonkotsu ramen #Set menu available #Noodlestagram #Kasuga City, Fukuoka Prefecture #Gaso #Ramen #Ramen lover Gaso-san #gaso #ramen #tonkotsu
