I was the first to write a review (lol). Is no one else going there? The place is located on Keyaki Street in the Imaizumi area. I saw an article in Fukuoka Worker featuring the omurice, so I went there for dinner. The interior of the restaurant is quite dim. As it is called a bistro, there are various items on the menu. The food is prepared by a man, while a woman handles the service. I went to try the omurice that was featured in Fukuoka Worker, so I ordered two omurice dishes and was told that I had to order a drink as well. This was not mentioned anywhere, and I think if the restaurant is going to require you to order a drink, they should make that clear. It kind of ruined the mood for me, as I was just there for the omurice. Anyway, since I had a car and wasn't there for drinks, I ordered two ginger ales (about 500 yen each). Now, the omurice that came out was really egg-heavy, as you can see in the photo. It was filled with fluffy eggs. The rice had paprika in it, which was delicious. The sauce was demi-glace, slightly tangy and very tasty. The presentation, the egg cooking, and the overall taste of the omurice would be around 3.5-4 stars. I couldn't resist trying the pumpkin gnocchi, which was 600 yen for two pieces. The gnocchi here is amazing, and I would definitely want to have it again. I would give it 4.5 stars. The cream sauce was delicious and complemented the chewy texture of the gnocchi perfectly. I highly recommend it. However, the overall cost performance is a bit high due to the location. The omurice was 1000 yen, and the gnocchi was 600 yen for two pieces. If you order a drink and other items, you could easily spend 3000-4000 yen, or even 5000-6000 yen if you drink. The prices for regular portion sizes were all over 1000 yen. The taste is good, but it feels a bit expensive if you're just going for the omurice. I went on a Sunday night around 7 pm, and there was only one other customer. No one else came in during the hour and a half we were there until our food came out. Lastly, if you pay by card, there is a 10% surcharge. So, make sure to bring cash when you go to this restaurant (lol).
