Bread! I want to eat bread~! Delicious bread! And I want to eat in! ...and I found it. PAUL Daimaru Shinsaibashi Store (Paul) Delicious bread at Oshanti is Paul's specialty! It's common for freshly baked bread to be delicious, but truly delicious bread remains tasty even when it's cold! One of such delicious bakeries is Paul. At the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store, there is an eat-in corner on the basement 2nd floor. You can choose from the cafe menu with unique items, but you can also select bread from the store front. However, to be honest, choosing a set menu from the cafe is more cost-effective. The store front looks like this. Looks delicious~ It's delicious! On this day, I really wanted to eat a Kouign-Amann, so I chose that first. Kouign-Amann is a French pastry. It uses plenty of butter and is topped with caramel. Caramel~ Caramel on the flat surface. It's sweet, fragrant, and delicious. I ended up combining the buttery Kouign-Amann with a Palmier...a combination with a French puff pastry. In the end, my lunch for the day turned out to be just pastries and coffee...with such an enticing appearance! It's the kind that's bad for calorie counting~(≧▽≦) However, the price was not quite within the budget for a regular lunch...but it was delicious!

The croissant is a classic, and it was the last one left. I felt sorry for the person behind me in line, but I still bought it. It goes well with any meal - "Ancien Paul" French bread made from French wheat. It has a strong wheat aroma, crispy outside, and soft inside. It's also delicious lightly toasted.

We visited with our family during lunchtime! We ordered a Wiener bread and a café latte! I had never eaten Paul's bread before, but it was a delicious bread that I could taste the butter in! The taste of the mustard was also good...!

When I was taken to Kagurazaka and bought these, they were delicious so I also bought them in Shinsaibashi - Croissant, Ton (tuna) Camembert Baguette, Mini Croissant. Yes, yes, they are really delicious~(*^^*) The buttery croissant with Ton (tuna) Camembert Baguette is also delicious! I can't get enough of the roasted ham and Camembert on the tasty baguette! It's a bit pricey but the deliciousness is worth it. Thank you for the meal (^∧^)

The only eat-in option for PAUL in Osaka is at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store on the B2F food hall. They offer set menus such as a croissant and drink for ¥1067 or a weekly cake and drink for ¥902. You can also order from the showcase for eat-in. I had a croissant sandwich with a canelé and a drink of Vanilla Tea. This place is surprisingly not too crowded, even on weekends.

Croissant Choco - 378 yen - At PAUL, the heart-shaped Palmier is popular, but personally, I recommend this Croissant Choco. The popular croissant is coated with crispy chocolate, which is not too sweet. The croissant is crunchy on the outside, soft and buttery inside, and incredibly delicious! The portion is generous, so it's very satisfying. When you visit PAUL, be sure to try it out!

Located in the B2F of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store, there is a corner of the food court where you can find PAUL. This place has a café attached to it, making it a more relaxed and leisurely spot compared to the food court. Let's have a tea time here! - Eclair Chocolat - Iced Tea When it comes to French sweets, eclairs are a must. The cream is a combination of chocolate and custard, creating a rich chocolate flavor. It feels a bit like happiness to cut it with a knife and enjoy it little by little. And with some iced tea, it's refreshing! I haven't seen PAUL's sweets in the department store basement, so I wonder if they are only available in limited stores. Maybe I just didn't notice them before? Anyway, I'm glad I found this place! Thank you for the meal. Yesterday, I ate too much personally, so for today's lunch I had a light sandwich. I bought a croissant sandwich from Paul at Shinsaibashi Daimaru. It was so light that I finished it quickly. I wanted to eat more, but croissant sandwiches are high in calories. I shared it with my wife, cutting it in half. But it was delicious!

The other day, when I went shopping in Shinsaibashi, I bought a popular croissant from the bakery PAUL. It was sweet and delicious. They have a cafe where you can eat in, making it convenient for a solo lunch.

I came to Shinsaibashi. I decided to have lunch at the Shinsaibashi Food Hall on the 2nd floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store, which I have used before. PAUL is a long-established bakery founded in 1889 in Lille, northern France. They sell bread and also have an open dining area. The seating is limited, but the retro posters on the walls and the clean, calm atmosphere with brown chairs are nice. I looked at the menu brought by the staff and ordered the Pastrami Croissant Sandwich set with iced coffee for 880 yen. It was soon brought to me - the Pastrami Croissant Sandwich was cut into two pieces and served in a basket. When I took a bite, the crispy and sweet croissant, generously filled with pastrami beef, tomato, lettuce, and seasoned with mayonnaise sauce, was delicious and filling. The iced coffee was a bit weak, but had a good bitterness and was refreshing. While sandwiches may lose freshness if taken to go, being able to enjoy freshly made sandwiches in the dining area is convenient and enjoyable.

I wanted a light lunch, so I went to PAUL in Daimaru underground. I didn't know they had an eat-in option. It's a cozy café with an open atmosphere. The taste is always good. I had a quick and satisfying solo lunch. Thank you for the delicious little happiness.

I discovered POUL in the basement of Daimaru in Shinsaibashi. I thought there was only the one in Hankyu Department Store in Osaka after the store in Honmachi closed. I was happy to find it and decided to stop by. There were many people lining up, so I walked around once and waited for it to clear before making a purchase. It's been a while since I had a chocolate croissant, and I love this combination. The chocolate is not overly sweet, so I could easily eat one. The crispy texture of the croissant pairs well with it! The large and delicious-looking chocolate was very satisfying after a long time. The Kouign-Amann and canelé are also classics. I love these elegant and delicious favorites. The staff at PAUL are also elegant. Their attentiveness and smiles are delightful. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I tried using TABETE. It was a set with a hard mini baguette, fig campagne, plain scone, and focaccia, each one priced at 680 yen. I heard it was a set for just under 1,000 yen, but I wonder if it's because PAUL is expensive. They were all delicious though.

I had some time to spare before my appointment, so I decided to explore the Daimaru department store (B2F). I stumbled upon a showcase with delicious-looking bread, and without any prior information, I decided to give it a try. The croissant with prosciutto had a name that I had never heard before, so I forgot it. The filling was modest, but the balance between the tasty croissant dough with cheese was good. I may have spilled some prosciutto while eating, so there might have been more than I thought... Please try it yourself to confirm (laughs).

Today, I had a light lunch with Paul's croissant sandwich. You can choose from about 5 different croissants and get a soft drink as a set for 880 yen. Paul's croissants are crispy and easy to eat, so they may not be filling enough for those who eat a lot. In that case, you can also choose any bread from the ones displayed in the store to eat in. I am watching my diet, so the portion was enough for me, but croissants are high in calories. However, it was delicious, so I'll take it as a win! lol

After a certain amount of time, sandwiches and desserts disappear quickly. This time, I decided to try something other than a sandwich, so I visited and ordered a mille-feuille. It was not originally on the menu, but I wanted to try something different. The set cost 880 yen, and I chose milk tea instead of my usual straight tea. Unfortunately, the lemon and milk that came with it were in potion-sized containers, but it's understandable given the price. The mille-feuille had a firm pastry crust that didn't crumble easily when cut or pierced with a fork. The cream was slightly sticky, not a custard type, and had a moderate level of sweetness. The size was quite large and had a good amount of volume. It felt more like a mille-feuille from a bakery rather than a patisserie, but I enjoyed it until the last bite. I would like to try other desserts at this place in the future.

I often buy chocolate-covered croissants at this bakery! The chocolate has a rich flavor and pairs perfectly with the crispy croissant. I visited the cafe for the first time. The cafe latte I ordered was just the right amount of sweetness for me! My companion ordered a bread set, which included a choice between a croissant with strawberries or a chocolate eclair. The croissant I ordered was crispy on the outside and had a creamy filling with a milky sweetness that helped relax my tired body. It's an easy place to take a little break. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The crispy heart-shaped bread from PAUL is truly unique. Even though I have a weak jaw, one bite is enough to enjoy its deliciousness. I prefer croissants with a bit more buttery taste. The toast is something I can eat without getting tired of.

I came here for the second time to have a quick and casual lunch by myself. This time, I chose the croissant set again. Since I arrived early, I could choose my favorite items. It was a delightful dilemma to decide among so many options. I went with the croissant mix this time, and as expected, it was delicious. For 880 yen, you can experience a taste of France, making this one of my favorite restaurants.

Hello. This is Kei from Okazaki Gourmet. Today I would like to introduce PAUL Daimaru Shinsaibashi store. It is a bakery located on Shinsaibashi-suji in Chuo-ku, Osaka. This bakery is originally from France, and I became a fan after trying their bread in Paris. I had an eclair and coffee at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store. It may be a menu unique to this store, but I had the dessert set of the day, which includes a specified item and a drink. Please give it a try if you have the chance.
