Today's accommodation was here. I had planned to go to Daikichi, which opens at midnight, but unexpected fullness and fatigue made me cancel. In the end, I just had tea and went to bed, making it a futile stay. Due to pressure from various sources, I have minimized the logs since June 2019, and also minimized the images since January 2020. Please refer to the corresponding Google Maps for images. Early April 2022 Overnight Visit [Pack] Tea

Breakfast on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. A hotel located about a 5-minute walk from Nankai Sakai Station. It's a bit old but comfortable. Breakfast is included, so I had a buffet breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. The tamagoyaki, ham, salad, and other standard menu items were quite delicious here. They also had takikomi gohan (seasoned rice) and a flavorful miso soup. I was very satisfied with the quality. There is also Sakai Fish Market nearby, making it a convenient location. And being able to reach Namba from Sakai Station in just 10 minutes is really convenient.

I had the local specialty dish of conger eel at a room on the 2nd floor of Hotel Sun Plaza Sakai ANNEX, which can be used for banquets, meetings, parties, etc. The conger eel was highly praised by the gourmet Lu Shanren for being delicious in the nearby waters of Sakai City, and this was proudly mentioned on the lunch mat paper under the meal. The meal included conger eel salad, conger eel rolled in broth, conger eel rice bowl, and conger eel soup. The conger eel rice bowl was served with shiso leaves and finely shredded pickled ginger on top. It's a moderate portion for women, but men might find it a bit lacking.
