I was drawn to the bustling atmosphere of this corner location facing Nagahori, accessible from both the north and Tamaya-machi Street. It seems pretty new, and as you can see from the photos, it's clean and well-maintained. Three lovely ladies are running the place. Since it's a weekday evening, it's quite popular among those coming back from work. For just 550 yen per person, you can enjoy a drink and a side dish, making it easy to stop by for a casual drink and a light buzz. We tried edamame, squid salted guts, kimchi, chicken karaage, tempura, and chicken wings, among other things - it was delicious!

After attending an event nearby, I was taken to this standing bar for the first time by someone I was with. They offer a variety of appetizers, including my favorite, Sapporo Red Star beer. I heard that the shop is run by three sisters, who are all friendly and easy to get along with. They serve orders quickly and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the Shinsaibashi to Nagahoribashi area.

A standing bar located slightly off from Namba's Dotonbori area. It was run by two women. I wanted to order a beer, but they had a special set where you could choose a small dish along with your drink (550 yen). I went for the set and got a draft beer. The small dish was potato salad, made with diced potatoes for a nice texture. I also ordered two pieces of fried sweet potato (290 yen). They have different varieties of side dishes available each day. The beer went really well with the food. The other dishes didn't seem particularly special, and the beer was a bit pricey at 420 yen for a draft. If you're visiting for the ladies running the place, it might be worth it. That's all.

After eating eel and wandering around the streets of Minami Shinsaibashi, I spotted a standing bar that I had been curious about. It's always crowded, but today it was empty, so I decided to stop by for a quick drink. It was a standing bar run by women. I ordered a lemon chu-hi, potato salad, and octopus balls directly from Akashi. The chu-hi came in a large glass, and both dishes were well-prepared. Amazing. I was impressed that they could serve such quality even at a standing bar. And it's also reasonably priced. I can see why it's so popular.

This was the first standing bar that caught my eye from the outside, so I ordered sashimi and a beer. It was a casual place where you can easily stop by, and all the appetizers looked delicious. I didn't have much time that day, so I left quickly, but next time I will try the recommended sake by the lady.

Visit date and time: 18:10 on a weekday Waiting time: None Impressions: Infection control measures are in place. I had a little drink while waiting for my nearby dinner reservation. One drink and one dish cost 500 yen. And if you order a soft drink, it's only 400 yen. The potato salad was also delicious. We spent about 20 minutes and only paid 990 yen including tax for two people. There were many other delicious-looking dishes, so I would like to visit normally next time. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing work, I stopped by for a quick drink standing at the bar! It was my first time visiting even though I had known about it before!! The bright and friendly female staff provided great service. When I ordered a draft beer, it came with a small dish~ It's a casual place to drop by, so I'm looking forward to visiting again! ◎

Visited around 9 pm. However, the place was quite crowded! Both entrances were fully open (to avoid crowding). It was almost full inside. I ordered sweet potato shochu and edamame to start, but even when a few customers left, new ones came in right away... It seemed like a very popular place. This restaurant is known in the area as the family business of "a certain professional sports player siblings" (if you follow me, you can probably guess the sport). I wanted to chat with the staff, but they seemed too busy... Next, I ordered a red wiener, and to my surprise, a cute octopus-shaped wiener appeared! The taste was nostalgic and delicious, but it seemed like the crowd wouldn't die down anytime soon, so I left early. I'd like to visit again when it's calmer.

This day, I had a half day off in the afternoon, so I went to the sports club in the afternoon to sweat it out ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ and on the way back, I ended up consuming the calories I burned by sweating, which is a bit counterproductive! lol I visited "Shokuraku" which is located between Nagahoribashi and Sankyubashi, a restaurant I had been curious about since it's close to the sports club I go to. The interior has a counter surrounding the kitchen and another counter along the wall. The space is quite spacious, so you won't bump into each other even if you stand back to back (*^▽^*) The restaurant is run by two female staff members and the place is kept quite clean. It was still early, so I stood on the kitchen side and started drinking♪ ☆"Choi-nomi" set 500 yen: Limited until 7 pm, you can choose one drink and one dish from a selection of 5 items. I chose a draft beer and potato salad. The potato salad had diced potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and finely chopped roasted pork. The mayonnaise flavor was a bit strong, but I think it goes well with beer. ☆Red sausage: There's something nice about this, right? It's just a simple dish of grilled sausages, but it's so satisfying♪ ☆Oden: Radish, fish cake With the temperature dropping in the mornings and evenings, more and more places are serving oden. I enjoyed the well-flavored hot radish and washed it down with a cold beer, it was pure bliss╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ I had two draft beers, one bottle of Akahoshi, and that was it for the bill. By around 5 pm, more customers started coming in, and the place gradually became livelier. It has a welcoming atmosphere for women dining alone, so there might be a lot of OLs coming in after work? I'm not sure though! lol Anyway, it's an easy place to drop by, so I'll definitely visit again (*^ω^*)

Pre-dinner drinks at Clan in Shinsaibashi. It's a standing bar that I never noticed before, even though it's in such a prominent location. Until 7 pm, they have a great deal for a drink and a dish for only 500 yen. You can choose from edamame, fried dumplings, baby cheese, macaroni salad, cold tofu, and seaweed vinegar. I went with a draft beer and cold tofu, while my companion chose fried dumplings. They have a variety of drinks, and the two ladies working there were quick and efficient, which was nice to see. The food kept coming, and we enjoyed our drinks while watching them work. We also had octopus with wasabi and pickled cucumber. I tried black sugar shochu for my second drink, and it was surprisingly delicious. We were in and out in about 30 minutes, but the spacious interior makes it a great place for a leisurely standing drink.

A quick drink at a standing bar in Minami that is easy for women to enter! "Shokuraku" @ Osaka Nagahoribashi Delicious chicken dishes before a meal. The place I visited was "Shokuraku" located near Nagahoribashi station in the Minami area. I'm not good at navigating Minami, so I had to check the map multiple times to avoid getting lost. The exterior of the place was sleek with glass windows and a navy noren curtain hanging. Inside, there was a spacious kitchen area facing the counter and tables along the wall. The place could accommodate around 20 people. I sat at the counter near the entrance on the right side. The menu was available in a handout and on a blackboard. Drinks ranged from ¥250 to ¥500, and appetizers were priced from ¥250. There was also a happy hour set available until 7 pm, which included a drink and an appetizer for ¥500. I chose a draft beer and the classic edamame as my appetizer. The edamame was served hot after being microwaved, and it came with a shell container. Although the prices were reasonable for Minami, I couldn't help but feel a bit underwhelmed considering the variety of one-coin options available elsewhere. The White Horse Highball was ¥350, and the soft-boiled egg was ¥100. I was curious about other items on the menu, but I didn't have much time, so I opted for the quick and easy egg. It was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. I enjoyed two drinks and two appetizers before leaving. Despite the somewhat upscale ambiance, the main clientele seemed to be older men. However, the staff, consisting of young men and women, created a welcoming atmosphere for solo female customers. Next time, I'll have to try the recommended "Satsuma-age" that looked delicious when others were eating it. It seemed quite filling and tasty. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to visiting again. ★ "Shokuraku" Osaka, Chuo-ku, Higashi-Shinsaibashi 1-9-16 1F 06-4256-4908 16:00-23:00 Closed on Sundays

I visited late at night on a regular weekday. It was a nice weather day. I stopped by alone after a drinking party. It's a standing bar. It has a welcoming atmosphere. There were female staff members behind the counter. I ordered a highball. The staff members were friendly.

The place is always bustling with people, with a glass front that caught my attention every time I passed by. I couldn't get into the shop I usually go to, so I decided to give it a try. The staff, consisting of two young beautiful women and a Vietnamese man, were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable, even for someone dining alone. The place attracts a diverse crowd, from groups to individuals of different ages. They offer a variety of typical standing bar dishes, including oden. The food and prices are decent. Overall, I think it's a modern standing bar worth checking out.

On October 6th, I visited a standing bar run by two women after a long time. It seems like the menu has expanded. They now offer fried chicken, squid tempura, horse mackerel fry, croquettes, and daily specials. Grilled items include sausages, gyoza, crab shell gratin, and three types of salads. They also have dishes like hokke fish and sashimi. There are various kinds of satsuma-age, such as leek and ginger or shrimp toppings. Traditional dishes like cold tofu and edamame are also available. I started with a draft beer, Kirin Ichiban. However, they also serve bottled beers like Asahi and Sapporo. I ordered ham cutlets and macaroni salad, which were nostalgic and delicious. I also got a soft-boiled egg, which was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed a bottle of sake as well. It was a great first stop. Thank you for the meal.

Finished work on Nagahori Street in August 2018. Found a standing bar in such a place!!! And it's trendy. The atmosphere seems to be getting more popular. The staff are fresh and energetic. Cheers with retro Hoppy. Fun. The appetizers were light: - Jellyfish - The crunchy texture is delicious!! This might be my first time trying jellyfish!! It's a protein-rich ingredient, so it might be useful in various dishes in the future. I like the texture, so I hope it will be useful. - Boiled egg - A perfectly boiled egg!! It might be a matter of personal preference, but it was perfect. Recently, even at ramen shops, pre-made eggs are often used, but this one was cooked perfectly soft and bouncy, which was delicious. - Ham cutlet - Crispy! I like that it's not too thick. It's a great side dish!! Let's call it a supporting role. Its presence is chic. Pour some thick sauce and enjoy it with alcohol. It was delicious. It was a good restaurant! I would like to casually stop by again. Thank you for the meal.

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while. I went with a friend, and it had a welcoming atmosphere for girls. We ordered draft beer, the recommended warm vegetable salad, and also chilled tomatoes and mozuku seaweed vinegar, which is a typical choice for men (lol). The chilled tomatoes had salt sprinkled on them, and the warm vegetable salad had a choice of dressing, showing the little touches of kindness in the restaurant. I would like to try more of their recommendations next time!
