After exploring the streets of Osaka and returning to my base camp, Amza, I took a short nap because I was quite tired. I woke up after 8:00 PM, but surprisingly, I wasn't hungry at all. However, I felt that there was no point in coming all the way to Osaka just to sit quietly. So, I hopped on the subway and headed to Minamimorimachi. From there, I walked north along the Tenjinbashi Suji Shopping Street towards Temma. Unfortunately, the restaurant I was interested in was fully booked. So, I decided to try a restaurant recommended by a friend, but I saw people smoking at the table seating, which I didn't prefer. Since I couldn't find a restaurant I wanted to go to, I returned to Nipponbashi. By this time, my throat was dry from all the walking, and there were limited options for places to drink at this late hour. In such situations, there's only one place to go - a popular spot called "Daisuya Sen'nichimae Store" where you can drink beer cheaply without any appetizers. As soon as I entered the store, I headed to the standing table seating. There was a group of foreigners and Japanese customers already there. The foreigners were cheerful, but their exaggerated gestures made me almost bump into them while they were taking photos. I don't dislike cheerful foreigners, but I appreciate when they consider the situation and act accordingly. The staff that day seemed unmotivated and didn't come to take our orders. So, I had to go and call them over. In the past, the staff used to be more attentive and approachable. I ordered a draft beer, which typically comes in a frozen glass, causing the beer to freeze as well. For food, I chose a selection of 5 types of sashimi. The lineup included amberjack, half-cooked baby octopus, flatfish, striped jack, and grilled Spanish mackerel. At first, it didn't look very appealing, but the sashimi was actually quite decent. After having two rounds of beer and enjoying the sashimi, I was satisfied and left the restaurant. I then headed towards the Dotonbori area once again.
