I bought 2 plain pastries as souvenirs for 478 yen. There were delicious eating instructions included, so I followed them. I warmed them up in the toaster, and after taking them out, I let them sit for a bit so the outside became crispy. The dough was slightly sweet and tasty. Since the dough is a bit sweet, it's delicious to sandwich it with slightly salty ham or other ingredients.

There is a croissant specialty store that sells various types of croissants. They have matcha, sesame, mugwort, raw pie croissant, apple, cheese, cocoa, chocolate, soybean flour, red bean, cinnamon, plain, maple, and chocolate croissants. There are so many types! And they are all individually wrapped so you can't see the filling. I bought a plain one for the first time. I followed the heating instructions and let it cool for 3 minutes as directed. I thought individually wrapped croissants might be dry, but it was a delicious croissant with lots of butter.

In Fukuoka, there is a famous croissant takeout specialty store. There are a total of 12 flavors available (plus seasonal flavors). You pick your favorite flavor in a basket like buying bread at a bakery and take it to the register. I ordered the popular plain flavor to take home. After warming it in a toaster oven for 1-2 minutes, let it cool for about 3 minutes at room temperature to enjoy it even more deliciously, but I tried it as is and it was moist and had a spread of butter flavor, very delicious! Since all the flavors look delicious, I would like to try a different flavor and toast it when I visit Fukuoka Airport again. Thank you for the meal!

I love croissants that are moist with a hint of sweetness, and Fukuoka has a croissant specialty shop that you can't find anywhere else. There are various types available, and this time I bought maple and cinnamon, and raw pie croissants! It was my first time trying raw pie croissants, and they were delicious with a crunchy sugar coating. They are smaller than regular croissants, more like mini croissants. Although they only last for about 3 days, they are recommended as souvenirs!

Croissant shop. Each croissant is individually wrapped and comes in various flavors. I had a plain one slightly warmed up the next morning. Matcha flavor was also delicious! Yummy! I would like to try other various flavors as well. The shop at the airport is always crowded.

- Crescent Moon: An elegant croissant that is small in size and has a crispy texture, delicious! - Apple Pie: The apples are not too sweet, and the dough has a moist and crispy texture, making it delicious! - Matcha: Matcha goes well with the sweet croissant dough! Delicious! - Plain: A simple yet best croissant! Yum!

I changed the prices to 267 yen for chocolate, 248 yen for maple, and 239 yen for plain croissants. When I brought them home, all the croissants were crispy on the outside, which was great. The chocolate had just the right amount of sweetness. However, the plain croissant had a wonderful buttery aroma and was very delicious.

[Date] Visited on a weekday at 1pm alone. [Reservation] Not required. Purchased without waiting. [Location] Inside Fukuoka Airport. [Interior] Only a takeout counter. [Order] It was nice that each item was individually packaged. After struggling with the variety of options, I chose the following: - Plain: Started with the classic plain flavor. It was light and delicious, although it lacked a crispy texture. The dough had a slightly sweet taste. - Maple: Recommended by a friend from Fukuoka, I tried the maple flavor. As soon as I took a bite, the scent of maple spread gently. It was indeed delicious. Thank you for the meal! [Service] The staff were efficient and friendly. [Final thoughts] I recommend both the classic plain and maple flavors!

A famous croissant specialty shop in Fukuoka. Compared to the popular croissants from Tokyo bakeries, they are very reasonable and yet very delicious! I think they offer croissants with a high cost-performance ratio. There are various types to choose from, so I always have a hard time deciding. If you are tired of bringing back only local products as souvenirs, how about trying something a little different with these croissants?

In Fukuoka, there is a famous croissant shop called Mikazukiya. They have a cafe at the airport (Mikazukiya CAFE Fukuoka Airport) where you can dine in, and also a shop where you can buy croissants to take home. When I visited after 8pm, almost half of the croissants were already sold out. My favorite croissants are the apple, cheese, maple, and black tea flavors, but the apple and maple ones were sold out that day. I bought the black tea and chocolate flavors, and enjoyed them at the JAL Sakura Lounge. Mikazukiya's croissants are crispy, buttery, and have various flavors. They make a great breakfast option while traveling, so be sure to try them out.

I lined up and waited until a seat was available, then I tried the matcha dessert. It had white chocolate inside and was more like a sweet treat than bread. Despite the plane delay and having to switch flights, it was a good memory. I also tried the cocoa flavor when I got home, and it was delicious.

I'm not a big fan of bread and I don't usually eat croissants because I don't like the fluffy texture, but the croissants from Mikazukiya are delicious! I found out that you can buy them at Fukuoka Airport, so I bought some as souvenirs. I thought I could eat the small croissants at the DP Lounge, so I only bought the large ones. I bought plain, red bean, and chocolate flavors. The small croissants were indeed available at the DP Lounge as I expected, which was great! ♡

Shopping for souvenirs at Fukuoka Airport. A friend recommended these croissants, which are famous in Fukuoka for their variety and deliciousness. I bought five different kinds to take home: plain, maple, kinako (roasted soybean flour), black tea, and chocolate. Following the instructions, I toasted them in the oven for 1-2 minutes and then waited a bit. The croissants were fluffy and smelled amazing. The kinako one, in particular, had a generous amount of paste inside, which was delightful. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a report from Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. My enjoyable trip to Fukuoka is coming to an end. At Fukuoka Airport, I found a shop that is famous for its croissants made with natural yeast. I bought a croissant made with natural yeast and enjoyed it in a nearby food court. It was a moist type of croissant, not the crispy type that I prefer, so it didn't leave a strong impression on me. However, since customers kept coming one after another, it seems that preferences may vary. Thank you for the meal!

Located on the 2nd floor departure level of Fukuoka Airport, this croissant shop offers a variety of flavors including plain, kinako (soybean flour), sesame, and tea-infused options. They also have outlets in Fukuoka and Kokura, with frozen products available at department stores in Tokyo. The croissants are made with natural salt and top-quality unsalted butter, giving them a rich aroma that is best enjoyed in the plain flavor. The tea-infused croissants use Earl Grey tea, and have a chewier texture rather than a crispy one. Priced around 200 yen each, they can also be frozen, making them a great souvenir option.

I bought a variety of flavors for home use and had a hard time deciding, but in the end I chose the normal maple cinnamon, yomogi, and apple pie. They were all delicious with a crispy texture on the outside and moist inside. The apple pie was especially tasty when warmed up in the toaster.

There were various types of croissants lined up, including limited edition ones for each season, so it seems like you won't get tired of visiting multiple times. The unique feature is not only the crispy outer layer but also the chewy inside! The slightly high prices may be a concern, as it is within an airport, but I think it's acceptable since it is mainly used for souvenirs.

I ordered croissants with kinako (soybean flour), black tea, and red bean paste. The shop has a popularity ranking displayed, which was helpful in choosing the types. The croissants had a perfect balance of crispiness and moistness, with flavors that weren't too overpowering. The kinako had a fragrant and delicious taste, especially enjoyable when paired with croissants.

Fukuoka Omiya Edition of Fukuoka Wanderings: Winter 2023♪ On the second floor of Fukuoka Airport's international terminal, there is a stylish bakery selling a variety of croissants. Since I quite like croissants, I decided to stop by. The main store is located in Kitakyushu City, and there are affiliated stores in Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City. There is also a cafe inside the Fukuoka Airport store. Inside the store, there were neatly displayed croissants lined up. Currently, there are 16 different types available, including limited edition ones. I purchased the basic plain croissant and took it home. It was slightly larger than usual, with a nice aroma. The outside was crispy, while the inside was soft and moist. It wasn't overly sweet, but had a good level of sweetness. It was moderately heavy, with a dense texture rather than hollow inside. It's my favorite type of croissant. It can also be stored in the freezer, and it came with various instructions. I will definitely buy it again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal. (Visited for the first time on January 5, 2023) ========== The Kyushu Winter 2023 Travel Series is now complete.

I purchased the following items around 9:00 on Thursday and brought them home to warm up in the toaster. - Plain croissant ¥246: The layers are very fine. Despite being wrapped, it still has a crispy texture. Maybe because it was toasted? It has a nice buttery flavor. - Maple croissant ¥258: The maple syrup has just the right amount of sweetness. - Sugar-coated croissant ¥120: It is sweet because it is coated with sugar. It is smaller than normal croissants. Thank you for the meal.
