Located on the 7th floor of the new building of the Iwataya department store in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka City, this soba restaurant offers a unique dining experience. With jazz music playing in the background and artistic displays of lucky cats and liqueur pots filled with fruits, the ambiance is elegant and sophisticated. The restaurant specializes in "Juwari Soba," made with 100% domestically sourced buckwheat flour without any additives. The quality of the soba is exceptional, thanks to the exclusive production method that focuses on freshly ground and hand-cut noodles. In addition to the main restaurant, the chain has expanded to other locations in Fukuoka and Nagasaki, as well as opening a tempura specialty store in Bangkok. During my visit, I enjoyed the "Odayasu Special Set" which included soba noodles, tempura, and eel rice bowl. The presentation and taste were superb, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and unique soba dining experience.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and very relaxing. The soba noodles were delicious, and the eel was fluffy. The prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality, so I was very satisfied. My friend had tempura, which was crispy, and the special salt seasoning was amazing.

The 10-buckwheat soba is delicious at this restaurant. I also go to the Ishimaru main store, but when I want to drink beer, I choose this place because I can get there by train. The menu is almost the same as the main store, but the burdock tempura here is in stick form, while at the main store it is thinly sliced diagonally. Both are great with beer. I like both, so I would be really happy if they could serve half and half...

In Fukuoka, there is a lovely soba restaurant on the 7th floor of the new building of the Iwataya department store in Tenjin. I had the "Ten Zaru Soba" which was delicious. Both the tempura and the soba were tasty! I like soba broth, but it was nice to also have warm tea available. Thank you for the meal.

I have a wide range when it comes to food. I am happy with anything delicious. However, ever since I tried the 100% buckwheat soba noodles at this one restaurant a few years ago, I can no longer eat regular soba noodles. Well, there are days when I still eat them, but... haha Anyway, once you try the soba noodles here, you won't be able to go back. Please be careful when you visit! Haha.

Please top it with a special hot spring egg. Mix it well to bring out the stickiness. The grated yam, okra, and hot spring egg, along with one-third of the dipping sauce, are left. I may not be knowledgeable about macros, but it feels like my body is happy with it.

I recently discovered a new favorite dish, umeboshi okura tororo soba. I was concerned about not getting enough protein, but then I found out that I could add a soft-boiled egg for around 150 yen. I added it to my meal and enjoyed half of it with the broth poured over, and the other half mixed into the soba. The creamy yolk mixed with the soba was delicious, so next time I plan to mix it all together.

I had a refreshing dish of soba noodles with plum, grated yam, and okra. It was very healthy and the plum added a nice touch. This is the best soba restaurant in the Tenjin area. I always buy my New Year's soba noodles here. Everything I eat here is delicious. Personally, I love the 100% buckwheat soba noodles because they are healthy and tasty. They accept PayPay.

The portion size is quite large and the soba noodles have a nice texture. It's a great option for the upcoming hot season or when you have a small appetite. I love duck, so I couldn't resist ordering the duck soba, but the plum, grated yam, and okra soba seemed like a better deal.

This is my first visit. A soba restaurant on the 7th floor of Iwataya Shinkan. I went during lunchtime so there was a short wait of about 5 minutes before entering. I ordered a dish with nameko mushrooms and grated yam soba. It was sticky and delicious.

I recently discovered the delicious Jusouya, where the Jusouya Soba made with 100% buckwheat flour is my go-to dish. The Itojima pork with a rich and spicy broth has become my favorite. The tender eggplant simmered in the flavorful pork broth is served with a dipping sauce, topped with yuzu pepper and grated daikon radish. Personally, I enjoy adding sansho pepper for a different flavor experience.

The taste was consistently delicious as always. It is reasonably priced for a lunch in the central area of Fukuoka, Tenjin. This is the go-to place if you crave soba while shopping. We always order the New Year's soba as well. There may be a bit of a wait, but there are seats available, so elderly people won't get tired.

It was Sunday afternoon, so there were a lot of people lining up. The soba had a good texture and was very delicious. However, the surface was strangely watery. The soba broth was not too strong, maybe to not overpower the soba flavor? The tempura and eel weren't exceptional since it's not a specialty shop, but they were tasty and satisfying for lunch.

I ordered the buckwheat noodles without any added flour. The noodles are clean and not too sticky, even though they are 100% buckwheat. When eating just the noodles, they are quite firm with a chewy texture and smooth. There is a slight buckwheat aroma. The dipping sauce is sweet and delicious. The noodles have a good texture and are enjoyable to eat. Despite being 100% buckwheat, the texture is excellent.【100% Buckwheat Noodles - Suya】

This is a restaurant I occasionally visit when I crave soba noodles. I went for a late lunch around 2 pm this day. Since it was close to closing time, they had run out of their lunch specials, so I ordered the Chirimen Oroshi Soba instead. The dish was beautifully presented with a variety of light toppings, and it had a good amount of toppings that I enjoy. I personally like this menu item and tend to order it often. The combination of daikon radish, grated mountain yam, and dried baby sardines goes well with the soba noodles, creating a delicious flavor. While the Tempura Soba is the most popular choice, if you've had it many times before, I recommend trying the Chirimen Oroshi Soba next time.

I have visited the main store in the western area several times, but this branch is my first time. I have passed by the front of the shop a few times, and during lunchtime, there is always a long line. However, on this day, I was lucky and got seated right away. After a while, the shop quickly became full and there was a long line outside. I was torn between the zaru soba and the tantan tsukemen, but I ended up ordering the tantan tsukemen. It was a delicious soup made with local chicken! It was spicy and tasty. (I personally prefer it a bit spicier though.) It was so delicious that I wanted to order more soba. By the way, the service here is not as good as the main store in the western area... I didn't feel good when my plate was taken away as soon as I finished eating... Even if the food is delicious, if the service is not good, it can ruin the mood. Thank you for the meal.

I wonder how many more times I will be taken care of here... Probably my third visit. This time, I ordered warm soba for the first time. I ordered a large portion of chicken soba with mitsuba and green onions, and it was delicious! However, considering the flavor of soba, I still prefer the cold version. Personally, I am also curious about oyakodon, so next time I want to try cold soba and oyakodon. When I come back to Fukuoka, please take care of me again!

When my family couldn't find any restaurants open at Iwata-ya, we decided to try this soba restaurant that I used to go to occasionally when I was in elementary school. The modern interior with a large flower vase really stood out to me. It's nice to be able to enjoy some delicious 100% buckwheat soba noodles in a casual setting. I would love to visit again soon! ♡

After school, I felt like eating soba noodles, so I looked up a restaurant and ended up going in. The soba noodles were delicious, and the tempura was also tasty, making it a luxurious lunch. The service was also good, so I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably.

It was hot, so I decided to stop by Iwataya's food court for something refreshing. I knew they had various shops like soba and sushi, but it was my first time visiting. I was seated at a table, and despite maintaining physical distance, the place was full. I ordered a bottle of beer and enjoyed sweetened herring and zaru soba, which helped cool my dry throat. The herring was tender and delicious. The soba arrived, and even though it was 100% buckwheat, it didn't have a strong flavor. It was easy to eat, lacking the wild taste of Yamagata soba. I leisurely enjoyed the tempura and even had some soba-yu. It can get crowded here from opening until lunchtime, so I recommend visiting at a different time if you enjoy drinking. ^_^

I visited "Soba Suya," located near the Gofukumachi intersection in Fukuoka's Chuo Ward. The soba noodles were made with 100% buckwheat flour, and had a strong texture. The broth was slightly sweet and delicious. The restaurant had a stylish exterior and interior, with a modern atmosphere. The aroma of the buckwheat noodles was wonderful. It was a delightful meal.
