The reason why this place is popular is because the portions are big but cheap. I went on a weekday so it wasn't full, but making a reservation was still a good idea. The service was fast and the food was delicious! I ordered a lot of things besides sushi on this day, but I recommend the chawanmushi and the miso soup.

Once I decided on what to eat, I just wrote it on the order sheet and handed it to the staff. It was nice to be able to take my time deciding. The sushi and side dishes were surprisingly cheap and I was able to eat a lot. The portions were also generous, making it very satisfying. I highly recommend it!

Sushi Anaba Tenma Store The name "Anaba" might suggest it's a hidden gem, but it's actually located right along the main road of Tenma Hondori, not hidden at all! There are also stores in Temma and Sakuranomiya, both living up to their popular reputation with big portions of sushi and rice. The store in Temma is always crowded with young people, and I can see why! The Nasu Tempura is thinly sliced eggplant with a crispy coating seasoned with salt and pepper, similar to fried chicken. And the portion size is generous! The draft beer is beautifully poured and priced at a great deal of 390 yen! The sake is served at room temperature in a 110 or 120 ml glass, poured with a little spillage style. I got pretty drunk... The background music is heavy rotation of AKB and more.

Osaka's best cost performance when it comes to casual sushi! The toppings are thick and large, providing a satisfying eating experience. The side menu is also rich, allowing you to eat until you're full and be surprised by the cost performance at the checkout. Personal repeat menu items include chutoro, yellowtail, marinated amberjack, red shrimp, simmered anago, and shirako with ponzu sauce.

There is a popular hidden sushi spot in Temma, and it turns out there is one in Miyakojima as well. What's more, it's easier to make a reservation here. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the station. It was full on Friday, but we managed to get a seat. The assorted sashimi was delicious, especially the sweet shrimp. The eel was also very tasty. The specialty Anaba roll sushi was amazing, packed full of seafood. Thank you for the meal.

It's recommended to make a reservation before going. Since they are open late, if you go after 10 pm, you can often get in without a reservation. They also have a good variety of side dishes, including meat and fried foods, which is nice. However, compared to the sushi, the quality of the side dishes is lower. The restaurant is long and narrow, so it can be a bit difficult to get the attention of the staff. Compared to Sakuranomiya, they notice you quickly, which is appreciated.

Cheers to a job well done \(//∇//)\ The sushi arrived on one plate! The yellowtail sushi... yes, this is delicious! At 303 yen including tax, it's quite a deal (*≧∀≦*) The salmon sushi... yes, the richness that you can't experience at conveyor belt sushi restaurants! The seared mackerel... decently rich, refreshing with ginger (*≧∀≦*) As an addition, the pickled mackerel with ginger... delicious \(//∇//)\ When I sent a text, I received a complimentary dish! I got bean sprouts, which go perfectly with alcohol (*≧∀≦*) Thank you for the meal.

When the Sakuranomiya store is full, I come here. Of course, I also go to this store from the beginning sometimes. Although this place is also sometimes full of customers, it is not as conveniently located as the Sakuranomiya store (sorry), so you can usually get in after a short wait. The sushi here is all delicious with large pieces of fish. Other menu items are also tasty.

It's been a while since I visited Anaba-san. Going to the Miyakojima store is really rare for me! Even though it's the current season, the place was packed with customers, it's definitely a popular sushi restaurant where you can casually enjoy. The variety of the menu here is amazing. Not just the types of sushi, but the side dishes are also incredible. We ordered bottled beer, shrimp tempura, octopus fritters, steamed egg custard, sea grape vinegar, salmon, eel, conger eel, octopus legs, red clam, seared salmon, scallops, and more. We ate so much, but the price was unbelievable! Even with three people, it didn't even reach 9000 yen. Amazing. There were some hits and misses, but overall, I'm completely satisfied with this cost performance. Salmon is still my favorite. Thank you for the meal.

The Temma store is always crowded, but the Miyakojima store is empty and you can get in right away. It's a hidden gem with a strong vinegar taste and unique sushi rice. It may be a bit divisive in terms of taste, but it's great for a quick and cheap meal. They also stay open quite late, which is convenient in Miyakojima where many places close early. They have exclusive menu items only available at the Miyakojima store, and they offer a variety of sashimi and side dishes.
