The day before, I had a disappointing experience eating steak from beef sagari meat, which is something I normally wouldn't do two days in a row. But I wasn't satisfied, so I decided to come back to this restaurant the next day. It's a yakiniku specialty restaurant near Dazaifu IC in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I visited just before noon on a weekday, and there weren't many customers yet. The young and beautiful female staff members seemed busy, so I asked about it. They mentioned that a group of around 30 Korean people would be coming, possibly on their way back from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The staff actually remembered me from a few days ago when I visited. It made me happy to be recognized, showing my age. I was pleasantly seated at a table, and I ordered the following: - Beef Harami set meal for 900 yen - Shimacho 80g for 350 yen This time, I decided to have more meat for lunch to make sure I get enough nutrients and because I wanted to gain some weight. I currently weigh 59 kilograms. The gas stove was lit, and I was served rice, wakame soup, vegetable salad, and Chinese cabbage kimchi while waiting for the meat. I wanted to take pictures, so I resisted the temptation to eat anything. The harami meat that was served was unevenly shaped end pieces, which didn't bother me much because the taste would be the same once cooked. There were about 7 pieces of meat, totaling around 150g, I think. The Shimacho meat, 80g, was more than I expected, with 5 large pieces. I cooked and ate them slowly, as I am used to doing as a frugal person. The harami meat was incredibly tender, without the usual smell of organ meat. It was delicious. The Shimacho meat was chewy and delightful. I ate it with the original sauce provided, and it was a joy in my mouth. Eating this kind of meal for lunch makes me feel happy and fortunate. The side vegetables included cabbage, bell pepper, onion, and carrot. The cabbage was tasty when grilled, and the Chinese cabbage kimchi was excellent, providing a slight sourness that enhanced the flavor. Just the kimchi alone could make me eat a bowl of rice. I won't comment on the rice as I have mentioned it in my previous review, but it was excellent. I loved it so much that I even got a second helping of it. The wakame soup was average in taste, but while I was eating, a group of three women at the next table ordered the bibimbap for 500 yen. I was curious to see what it looked like, but unfortunately, I couldn't. Overall, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Sometimes you just have to eat meat, right?
