I attended my grandchild's Okuizome ceremony. There were instructions on how to perform the ceremony, and we had a great time. The tofu dishes were consistently delicious, and even the sea bream head we took home was tasty. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and made the experience enjoyable. I had also used this restaurant after my child's shrine visit, and it was great then too. It's a shame there is no parking, but overall it is a lovely restaurant.

I visited Ume no Hana for the first time. It is located near the entrance of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, just past the approach, and I highly recommend it for a luxurious lunch during a sightseeing trip. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese inn atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and buildings, and the private rooms have a calm and relaxing ambiance. I ordered the yuba (tofu skin) course, and it was the best yuba I have ever had in my life! I had a blissful time there!

I used it for my birthday celebration. I made a reservation around 11:30 pm the day before, and they were able to provide a private room for us. I have visited the Hyakudo, Takamiya, and Kasuga stores before, but this place was a much calmer space, and the staff's service and language were very polite and impressive. I had the Plum Blossom Set Meal (tofu hot pot and pork soy milk shabu-shabu), and every dish was delicious. I definitely want to go back again! They also handled allergies properly, changing dishes with shrimp to fish, and changing the famous shrimp dumplings to pork dumplings. It's great that they are accommodating. I also have shareholder benefits, so I plan to visit again soon.

It is located near Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. It is a lovely building. I used it for a Buddhist memorial service. The building has a nice Japanese feel to it, so it's good for welcoming people from out of town. The courses are so filling. The skewered tofu was chewy. I checked, but unfortunately they didn't have almond jelly with plum blossoms as mentioned in the menu.

My daughter, who came back from Tokyo, requested a somewhat mature choice... We had plum blossom set meal with yudofu and pork milk shabu-shabu. My daughter likes yuba, and I like nama-fu dengaku. It's nice to have something you want to eat, isn't it? It was a good time to talk leisurely in a private room.

The photo is of a hojicha parfait. When I made the reservation two months ago, there was no mention of a New Year's menu, so I reserved with the regular menu. I hadn't checked the website since then, so when I received a confirmation call, I found out that there was a special New Year's menu available. I should have checked the details and opted for the 7000 yen option, feeling a bit of regret now.

Located just a short walk from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, right along a small path next to the shrine. It is also close to the west side of the National Museum. The exterior of the restaurant is a traditional building with a refined style and a sense of luxury. The entrance and the pathway leading to it are different from other plum blossom trees. Upon entering the gate, there is a water feature that creates a stunning view. The spacious garden, utilizing a 650-tsubo site where a tea room used to be, offers a luxury that is impossible to find in other establishments. The interior of the restaurant is a clean and well-maintained Japanese space. There are private rooms available for small groups to dine in a sophisticated atmosphere while overlooking the garden. This time, as it was a celebration for family, we decided to order the celebration kaiseki set meal. By presenting a membership DM, we received a 1000 yen discount. Ordered Items: Celebration Kaiseki Set Meal "Musubi" - 4000 yen - Mineoka tofu - Red and white namasu - Grilled yuba and sea urchin with tortoiseshell sauce - Clear soup with clams - Chawanmushi - Assorted sashimi - Dream sandfish steamed in domyoji - Tempura of prawn - Fried yuba - Crab shell gratin - Yuba soup - Red rice - Pickles - Dessert (Mango pudding) Enjoying yuba dishes and sashimi while looking at the beautiful garden, the kaiseki cuisine stimulates both the eyes and the taste buds. The course mainly consists of dishes using seasonal ingredients, and there is also a wide selection of a la carte menu items, making it perfect for a luxurious lunch. The dishes are served one by one in a way that matches the pace of the meal. We were able to enjoy our meal leisurely without feeling rushed. The building, the cuisine, and the hospitality all come together, providing a place where you can relax and enjoy a meal away from the hustle and bustle of the shrine's approach. It is a recommended restaurant for those who want to have a leisurely meal after visiting the shrine.

There is no parking lot near Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. It is recommended to use Nishitetsu trains or buses. A shuttle bus is available for reservations of 15 people or more! I used it for a lunch reservation on a weekday. Private room reservations are limited to orders of 3700 yen or more. I love Ume no Hana, so I have used various stores, but this one has a limited lunch menu, so I went there looking forward to it! This time, I had the "Saifu ~ Saifu ~" for 3700 yen. It was written on the menu that it comes with Yudofu, but after eating the Yudofu, I enjoyed a generous portion of Yuba shabu-shabu! It was very delicious. By the time the rice came, I was already full. It is recommended for when you want to relax in a private room! Access: 8 minutes walk from Nishitetsu "Dazaifu" station. Along the narrow path right next to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Close to the National Museum of Art (elevator). Look for the white walls! I went to a company year-end party at Ume no Hana, a traditional Japanese restaurant. It had a cozy atmosphere and I thought the garden would be beautiful in spring. We had a course meal with plenty of tofu, yuba, and miso dishes. The miso on the grilled tofu was really delicious! There was also yuba shabu-shabu, which was a lot and left me very full. Thank you for the meal. The only downside was that the drink orders took a long time to arrive.

I have been visiting other plum blossom gardens occasionally for the past 30 years, but it was my first time visiting Jinen-an in Dazaifu. When I entered, there was no staff at the entrance. It took about 10 seconds for someone to come out from the back. Feeling uneasy #1. When I made a reservation, they told me to order a course that costs over 4400 yen. Feeling uneasy #2. I thought reservations were good for securing sales? I asked if it was okay to order dishes that exceed 4400 yen as a course or as individual items. They had to check with someone in the back. Feeling uneasy #3. Eventually, it was okay, but the food that came out was disappointing. It lacked the fragrance and the taste was mediocre compared to before. My companion also noticed that the waitress (?) was dragging her sandals as if feeling unwell. In the same room, there was only one other group of customers. Lastly, when I asked to pay separately for the four of us at the register, they insisted on combining the bill into one. Feeling uneasy #4. Despite not being busy. This chain restaurant, with a well-known name and over 300 branches nationwide, was very disappointing.

The timing of the waiter bringing the food was just right, and their service was good. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere had a sense of luxury. I would like to come back again.

A place where you can take a break from daily life and enjoy cooking.

I took a friend who visited Fukuoka for sightseeing to this restaurant, and they were satisfied not only with the atmosphere but also with the food. I am very grateful for making a good impression. I would like to use this restaurant again in the future.

The fried chicken is delicious! The customer service is excellent.

Yuba shabu-shabu

This is a quiet shop located slightly off the approach. I visited for my mother's 60th birthday celebration. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation, so we were led to a waiting area by the entrance. After a while, we were shown to our room where they had prepared a space for my child to sleep on a cushion, which was very helpful. We ordered the "Gokumi" course instead of the celebration course, and we started with the grilled yuba. The yuba tempura was especially delicious, with a crispy exterior and a soft inside, enhanced by the lemon flavor. The other dishes were also light and satisfying, filling us up without feeling heavy. The entrance to the private room had a transparent glass window, allowing us to see the progress of our meal and enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The staff were attentive and considerate, and it was clear they also host wedding receptions for those who got married at the Tenmangu Shrine. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.
