Cancellation charges are 100% on the day of the reservation, 80% the day before, and 50% two days prior to the reservation. "Restaurant Tanoshi is located on the 2nd floor of the New Daibiru in Kita-Shinchi, about a 10-minute walk from JR Osaka Station. It opened in August 2020, with the owner being Mr. Yoshiteru Hirata, who was previously the manager at "Chotai" in Kita-Shinchi. In addition to set courses, they also offer a la carte options. We opted for the 10,000 yen course, which ended up costing us 17,600 yen. The pace of the dishes coming out seemed a bit slow, possibly due to the kitchen getting busy when ordering a la carte items. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed dishes such as homemade salmon roe chawanmushi, matsutake mushroom porridge, and roasted beef of Man'yo beef rib loin. The food was incredibly delicious. The location and atmosphere of the restaurant are also great. I enjoyed it with wine. The staff at the restaurant were efficient and good. Although it wasn't a private occasion this time, I still thought it was delicious, so I would consider revisiting.

I thought I had made a reservation at a completely different restaurant, but I got the date wrong and was in a panic. A person dining at that restaurant approached me and arranged for me to eat at Fun Dining on the spot! It was like a miracle. The à la carte menu had a great variety of dishes. The restaurant was fully booked but the service was smooth and the food was delicious and enjoyable. Personally, I loved the chicken wings - so juicy! And the corn from Nagoya was incredibly sweet. The location in the new Dai Building is easy to find and convenient. Taste ★★★★, Service ★★★★, Variety of dishes ★★★★★

This was my first visit to the restaurant. We used it for a farewell party and there were a lot of people. We made a reservation in advance for the limited number of sashimi servings. The food was all delicious without any mistakes. The eel hot pot for the finale, curry, and stuffed shiitake mushrooms were all excellent. They have a wide variety of sake as well. I would like to visit again with a smaller group next time.

I went to a fun and interestingly named restaurant called "Izakaya Tanoshi" after being invited by a friend. The staff were friendly and the passion for cooking was evident in our conversations. Among the various dishes we tried, the clam pasta was amazing in terms of size and flavor. I will definitely be coming back for more!

This was a restaurant I wanted to visit (*゚∀゚*). I had no idea it would be so delicious and fun...(*゚▽゚) I forgot to take photos because everything I ate was so delicious... The second most delicious chicken wings in the world are just amazing! The pasta is also chewy and delicious, and the variety of clay pot rice dishes was rich. We enjoyed many types of aged Japanese sake, and it was the ultimate happiness. (No photos of the alcohol though^_^;) The hospitality is fantastic, and it's the kind of place where you have so much fun that you forget to take photos♪

My favorite shop in Osaka ☺️ If you love Japanese sake, you must visit here! It's rare to find a shop with so many rare Japanese sake options. The Bachiko and Kokuryu were so impressive. Just adding one cube of ice changes the taste of the sake. Mr. Hirata is a genius at pairing Japanese sake. The atmosphere at Moriview is also great. Perfect for family dinners or dates!

I went out to eat after a long time and was shocked by the VIP's visit to Japan. I was speechless because the food was so delicious. I can't go to a regular izakaya after going to such a nice one! There is no other cafeteria where pasta is that delicious. It was a great day again. I thought it would be nice to buy a bottle of wine someday and enjoy it at home.

I came across this restaurant on someone's Instagram and thought it looked delicious, so six of us decided to visit. It seemed like they had a course menu, but this time we just ordered a la carte. Even though we ordered casually, the manager gave us precise recommendations on what to eat and which Japanese sake to pair with it, and we had a delicious time. In particular, the Inka no Mezame potatoes with butter and sprinkled with karasumi (bottarga) were delicious.

Two nights in a row, I watched Akane Kujaku on TV and immediately felt like drinking, so I went out right away. The 12-year aged sake was amazing, not too strong in terms of aging but incredibly easy to drink. I also enjoyed the Chusaburo and Jukusei sakes, they were delicious. On this day, I had incredibly tasty roast beef, firefly squid, and spring vegetable oil pasta. Still so delicious! On day 2, I had an aperitif with a 2-year-aged Junmai Ginjo Omachi sake. It was so good that I couldn't stop drinking it. The Ryuno Otoshiko Daiginjo was also delicious, but I'm getting dangerously used to it. The label was so cool too.

I went to "Shokudo Tanoshi" on the 2nd floor of Shinchi and it was delicious! The restaurant was opened by the former manager of "Choutai" in Kitashinchi. The sashimi and meat dishes were a bit pricey but very tasty. The Wagyu curry was my favorite. We spent about 30,000 yen for two people, with the A5-ranked Black Wagyu fillet steak costing around 13,200 yen. The strawberry catarana dessert was also amazing!

The atmosphere is nice, the food is delicious, and it's easy to make a reservation. I recommend going with 4-8 people so you can try a variety of dishes. The world's best butter sautéed tilefish, salted fugu ovaries from Saga, and spiced curry with Japanese beef were all amazing. They have a wide selection of drinks as well. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

"Next to the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kitashinchi, on the 2nd floor of the Shin Dai Building, is a restaurant called "Shokudo Tanoshi," which opened in August 2020. It is located in the former space of the now-closed Korean restaurant, Houba. The interior remains the same as it was during the time of Houba. While they offer à la carte menu options, I opted for the omakase course on my first visit. The owner, Yoshiki Hirata, who was previously the manager of the popular izakaya "Naniwa Robata Chotai," provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu was delicious and creatively named to suit my tastes. The world's second-best chicken wing karaage was juicy and perfectly balanced in flavor, with a sweet fattiness and savory meatiness. I look forward to returning to try their seasonal offerings. The price may be slightly on the higher side, but it didn't bother me, and I will definitely visit again. First course: Sesame tofu with sweet shrimp, white shrimp, and somen noodles, topped with cucumber. Excellent. Second course: Anago pressed sushi by Densuke, refreshing and not too heavy, with a good balance of vinegar in the sushi rice. Third course: Hamo (pike conger) from the Seto Inland Sea. Fourth course: Assorted appetizers including tsubasu (flying fish), octopus, and bonito. Fifth course: Grilled fish, bonito, white asparagus, buttered potato, pork tongue, and char siu. Sixth course: Grilled sea bass with salt, cold dish of American cherries in white miso, and assorted simmered vegetables. Seventh course: Black wagyu beef and winter melon rice. Eighth course: Corn rice in a clay pot, tofu miso soup, pickles, and homemade corn dessert. Overall rating: 6 stars out of 8. This was my first visit to this restaurant. The spacious and casual atmosphere inside is all table seating. The dishes ranged from delicious to average. They have a wide selection of sake, and it seems like pairing with sake is their specialty. The restaurant doesn't have a fixed schedule for serving courses, so you can make a reservation anytime if there is availability. It seems easy to make a reservation, so it might be convenient to go occasionally for the sake pairing experience. Cost evaluation is not available as I was treated to the meal.

All the dishes were delicious and satisfying. There is a wide variety of drinks and dishes available a la carte. I finally got to try the Nishikyo-yaki, cream croquette, roast beef, and corn hot pot rice that I've been wanting to eat. The cream croquette was unexpectedly different in appearance. I would love to visit again.
