The second collaboration sandwich between Kimuraya Main Store and Tonkatsu Maiizumi is a vibrant yellow-green zunda bean paste paired with Kimuraya Main Store's sweet and sour apricot jam. It's a nice change from the usual tonkatsu sandwich. The bread is the usual fluffy and delicious snack sandwich. Thank you for the meal.

I wandered around the department store basement looking for a dinner bento. There is a famous tonkatsu (pork cutlet) shop, but they also have rice-based bentos. I decided to try it because the tonkatsu is delicious. I purchased the "Spring Seafood Deluxe Bento" for 950 yen (tax included). It includes shrimp fry, pork cutlet, and cherry shrimp cream croquette. The cherry shrimp croquette adds a seasonal touch, and the tonkatsu, like at the shop, is delicious even when cold. Overall, it was a well-made bento. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I bought some things but felt like it wasn't enough, so I decided to stop by Tonkatsu Maiizumi to get one croquette and one pork cutlet to go. They gave me a half-cooked takeout. The pork cutlet was tender and easy to chew, it was really good. The croquette was crispy and delicious too. Thank you for the meal.

There is a deep-fried specialty store in the basement of Namba Takashimaya, which is a common department store. I stopped by to buy a bento box, and found that the prices were relatively reasonable. They offer katsudon starting from around 500 yen, as well as katsu sandwiches and katsu burgers. On this day, I purchased a Mini Yoku Baridon for 734 yen. Although it wasn't very big, it felt surprisingly heavy because it was packed with ingredients. Under the egg topping, there were pork cutlets, shrimp fry, and squid fry. The broth in the bowl was slightly sweet and savory, and I found the taste a bit heavy, but it was well absorbed into the batter. The cutlets were slightly dry, but decent for the price. The shrimp fry was large and sweet, while the squid fry had a crispy texture, almost like it was freshly fried. Overall, I thought it was a tasty takeout bowl.

I am saved when I want to take it easy. With a variety of options like tonkatsu, croquette, and shrimp fry, you can add them to your dinner as a side dish. For my child's bento for cram school, Maishin's katsu sandwich is a convenient size and the katsu is soft, so even my son who doesn't like meat much enjoys it. Update: I also bought a sandwich and an ebi burger. The taste is something I crave occasionally.

It's a takeout! I wanted to have tonkatsu set meal at the restaurant, but I didn't have time, so I bought it as a souvenir and brought it home! The crispy cutlet, paired with a slightly sweet sauce, makes a delicious cutlet sandwich!\(^-^)/

"Tonkatsu Maisen" has 12 stores nationwide, with a presence in Umeda, Osaka. They are known for their pork cutlet sandwiches and bento boxes. I tried the "Rosu Katsu Bento" this time, which is a simple and delicious pork cutlet bento. The pork cutlet was thick, tender, and not too crispy, with a mild sauce that made it easy to enjoy. Next time, I want to try their popular "Yawaraka Hirekatsu" or maybe their pork cutlet sandwich! It was a great meal!

I entered Namba, Takashimaya, and found a Katsu restaurant that looked delicious. They were frying Katsu right there, using clear, good oil. The restaurant is called "Mai Izumi" and seemed to be popular. I ordered the "Rosu Katsu Juu" for 885 yen (tax included). The staff were very kind and explained everything, including asking about allergies. The Katsu was delicious, with tender meat and flavorful egg. The rice was also tasty. I didn't feel heavy after eating it, probably because the oil was good. I highly recommend the "Rosu Katsu Juu" at this restaurant.

Tonkatsu Maiizumi at Takashimaya Osaka has been a favorite of mine for a while now. Their mini-sized hirekatsu burger is not only cute in size, but also very satisfying to eat. The sauce between the bread and the hirekatsu is especially delicious. The bread and katsu are about the same thickness, and even when it cools down, it still tastes great. When you bite into it, the flavor just oozes out and makes you grateful to the pork. It's so delicious that whenever I see it, I can't help but buy it. Thank you for the meal!

Tonkatsu sandwiches are popular, but I prefer to buy just the tonkatsu itself. The crispy coating and tender meat inside are delicious, especially when warmed up. Whenever I go to Minami, I always stop by Takashimaya to get some. The tonkatsu is tasty on its own, but the sauce is just perfect. Once you try the tonkatsu from Mai Isshin, you'll be hooked. I try to avoid oily foods since I got sick, but I make sure to have it once every few months. The quality is really top-notch. Head to Takashimaya basement floor or Mai Isshin. By the way, they also have a branch at Kintetsu Abeno store.

I always get the katsu sandwich from Maisen. The taste is good, but it's also convenient because it comes in small sets of three, making it easy to store. My 92-year-old father also loves the katsu sandwich here and eats it twice a week. This time, after reading Kurea's blog, I learned for the first time about the existence of these mini burgers. Even my wife, who always buys them for me, didn't notice. There are Mini Hirekatsu Burger and Mini Hirekatsu Curry Burger. The katsu inside is delicious, so both are tasty, and two of them are just enough to satisfy a small hunger. If I had to choose, I'd say the regular Hirekatsu Burger is tastier. Sandwiches and burgers. Even though the inside is the same, they are so different.

Lately, I've been having trouble falling asleep at night. One thing I always buy at Tonkatsu Mai IZUMI Takashimaya Osaka store is their Katsu Sandwich! I usually go right before closing time, so it's discounted to 315 yen. My mom loves this, so I often buy some as souvenirs. When you open the box, the sandwich is in a bag. Maybe that's why it stays moist and not dry. The taste is quite mild, elegant even. I prefer stronger flavors, but it's cheap and good for a light snack. Kei

I knew that Katsu Sandwich was famous, but I didn't even know how to pronounce it properly. At first, I thought it was pronounced as "maizumi." I saw KARA talking about it on TV, saying it was delicious, so I decided to try it. It's called "Maisen"! That's how I found out the correct pronunciation. Honestly, I don't really like Katsu Sandwiches. I've never tried places like "Saboten" before because I don't like the fatty parts of the meat. But this one is different. The bread is moist just right, and the pork cutlet meat doesn't have those fatty parts on the edges! It's tender and really delicious!!! This time I bought a pack of three, and I thought the box was small! But by the time I finished the third one, I was satisfied. (It's not filling at all, so I think men might find it insufficient.) They even include a hand towel. I think it's great for eating lightly on the bullet train.

I often stop by Takashimaya in Namba, and I often see that they are sold out, especially on Friday evenings. They have a variety of items such as bento boxes, sandwiches, and rusk. This time, I purchased the Pork Cutlet Sandwich (6 slices), which was labeled as a limited-time offer on the sign, although it seems to be a regular item. The sandwiches are packed in sets of 3, making it convenient for sharing between two people or keeping the bread from drying out when opening one at a time, which is especially useful for outdoor meals or picnics. They come with paper napkins, which is a nice touch for hand-held food. The sandwiches are a good size for eating on the train, without spilling over the small pull-out tables. The bread is fine-textured, the meat is densely packed (low in fat) but not tough. The sauce has a subtle sweetness, somewhat resembling Worcestershire sauce. Usually, these kinds of sandwiches can be too heavy, but this one is refreshing. By the way, there was a design of autumn leaves on the box - could this be what was meant by "limited time offer" on the sign?

I often use these mini burgers for gifts. They have been well received by busy clients during peak seasons. There are three flavors: croquette, minced cutlet, and pork cutlet. The size is perfect for adults to eat in about three bites. It's great for those who feel a little embarrassed about opening their mouths wide in public. I usually buy a sandwich that contains shrimp cutlet and cutlet sandwich together. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it once in a while. The shrimp is firm and the sauce seeps into the cutlet, making it a perfect match with the bread. I'm thinking of trying it in a bento box next time.

I couldn't decide between the Pocket Sandwich with egg or the classic Pork Cutlet Sandwich at Mai Izumi, but in the end, I chose the Pork Cutlet Sandwich. The soft and moist bread, tender pork cutlet without any fatty parts, and slightly sweet sauce were delicious! I bought a pack of three and ended up eating them all right away (laughs). Even if I had bought the larger size, I would have easily finished it. The size is also elegant and there's even a hand towel included. It would be perfect for cherry blossom viewing or other outings during this season.

When it comes to katsu sandwiches, Maisen is the first thing that comes to mind, and Maisen is known for their Hire Katsu Sandwich. The catchphrase on Maisen's website reads, "Maisen's signature product. The soft Hire katsu, specially baked bread, and sweet sauce come together to create a delicious harmony that fills your mouth." It is truly a classic among classics. Just looking at the box, many can imagine the taste. This product is not only about the taste, but also holds memories for those who have eaten it. Inside the small sandwich is a large, tender piece of Hire katsu, complemented by a not overly sweet sauce that arouses the appetite. It is elegant, satisfying, and leaves a good aftertaste, making it a rare find in the world of katsu sandwiches. In the past, this katsu sandwich was a luxury for me. As I grew older, it became a companion during overtime work. Eating this sandwich on the bullet train somehow makes me feel luxurious, and its sophisticated atmosphere makes it a versatile item. I look forward to using this stylish Hire katsu sandwich in various situations in the future.

Around 18:30, I was looking for gourmet food in the department store basement and found the last katsu sandwich, so I got it for takeout. I had it for dinner and even though it was small with only 3 pieces, it was quite filling for a woman when paired with a salad. It wasn't greasy and was really delicious! There were also various bento boxes lined up, all of which looked tasty!
