A cozy space with 2 table seats and 3 counter seats. The reviewer used to work as a staff member at the snack Cafe HOLIC in Tanimachi Yonchome. This time, they tried a tart with whole peaches from Okayama Prefecture. The tart was filled with freshly whipped cream after removing the seeds, and the peaches were quite juicy. A snail-shaped cookie, as seen in the logo, was also included as a decoration. The buttery and crispy texture of the tart was delicious! Although it wasn't available during the visit, they now offer a snack plate where you can add three types of daily mini cakes and vanilla ice cream to your cake or baked goods for an additional 500 yen. I visited this shop that I was interested in on Instagram because now you can enjoy a tart made with figs. The interior of the shop is small, with only counter seats, tables for two, and tables for four. But with the sunlight coming in from outside and the white walls, the narrowness is not really noticeable. It takes a little while for the cake to come out, but if you think of that time as a time to wonder what kind of cake will appear, it's totally fine. The excitement when the cake appears in front of you ignites the maiden's heart. There is vanilla ice cream on top of the tart, and when you add the jam that comes with it, the taste changes. There are also some fresh figs on top. Kuma-san is eyeing it with dried figs. Both the appearance and taste of the cake were warm and gentle. I want to go back next time during Halloween.

I was intrigued by this café and decided to visit for the first time after getting off at Sekime-Takadono Station. When I entered, I was asked, "Do you have a reservation?" which I found unusual for a café, but when I said I didn't have one, they didn't seem to mind and led me in. (Visited around 4 pm on a Sunday) It was hot, so I ordered a Frozen Peach Soda and a Whole Peach Tart. The Frozen Peach Soda was supposed to have frozen peaches instead of ice, but they informed me that the peaches were not frozen yet, so they could serve it with regular peaches if that was okay with me. I agreed, and for the Peach Tart, they explained that they were sold out of the large Whole Peach Tart but could offer a smaller version with two layers of peaches. After placing my order and sitting down, an older lady came over and said, "It was hot, wasn't it? Haha," while placing a portable fan on my table, making me feel like I was at grandma's house. It was heartwarming and very soothing. ----- Taste Feedback ----- The Frozen Peach Soda had a couple of small ice cubes to keep it cold. The carbonation was just right, and the peaches were juicy. For the Whole Peach Tart with two layers of peaches, a bamboo skewer was inserted to hold it together, so they advised me to be careful when eating. Before I started eating, they mentioned, "Actually, we have a spot that's great for photos," and allowed me to take a picture there. Even though I'm not good at taking photos, it turned out really nice! Also, as I was scraping the peaches off the top, they gave me a small plate to place the peach slices, which was very helpful. The peaches were delicious, and surprisingly, the tart crust and cookie part at the bottom were also very tasty. ------------------- ・There were also regulars coming in for takeout, giving me the impression that this is a shop loved by the community, but as a first-time visitor, they were incredibly kind to me, which made me happy. ・I heard that you can check their days off on Instagram and even make reservations over the phone, which is convenient and easy to understand the situation. ・Overall, isn't the price quite reasonable? Is it okay? I found a good restaurant through this experience. I left the shop feeling very satisfied, and I would definitely make an effort to visit again.

I made a reservation over the phone and arrived earlier than the scheduled time. They welcomed me warmly and led me inside the charming little shop run by a lovely mother and daughter. The interior was beautifully decorated with snail motifs here and there. There were also Instagram-worthy spots that got me excited. The peaches that day were from Wakayama prefecture. They were large but had a white color, so they were not very sweet. I wished they were a bit sweeter. Many people were also getting takeout, showing that this shop is loved by the community.

I arrived 10 minutes before the opening on Monday and was the first in line. I entered the restaurant and was seated at a table. Orders are taken at the table, and payment is made at the counter at the end. This time, I ordered these two items: - Pink grapefruit soda (440 yen) - Whole peach tart (1,100 yen) The peach tart was on its first day of release. The peaches were peeled and the mascarpone cream was squeezed on top right before serving, keeping it fresh. The peaches were sweet and juicy, with a good balance with the mascarpone cream. The tart base was quite firm, making it a bit difficult to cut with a knife and fork, but the taste was delicious. The soda had chunks of pink grapefruit in it. I sipped the soda through a straw while scooping up the fruit with a spoon. There are only 3 counter seats, 1 table for 2, and 1 table for 4, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance. Reservations can be made by phone starting a week before. It was also possible to reserve the peach tart by phone the day before or on the same day.

I happened to see some cakes while passing by, so I decided to buy a few! Strawberry tart (500 yen), Strawberry chocolate shortcake (480 yen), Gateau chocolat (320 yen), Financier (160 yen) x2 + tax. These small cakes were just right in sweetness, packed with deliciousness, and had a cute appearance.

I finally made it to the cute cafe that opened in the neighborhood in June! Since peach tarts and parfaits were already out for the year, I'm having my first Shine Muscat of the year. I had a great time chatting with the owner, who is also a pastry chef. I wonder if they can make a French toast with fruit on top for me.

Located just a short walk from Sekime-Takadono Station, this cute café with a snail as its trademark offers counter and table seating in its small space. I had called ahead after seeing on their Instagram that a new Shine Muscat mille-feuille was available that day. I ordered the Shine Muscat mille-feuille for ¥950 and the Peach and Cheesecake Parfait for ¥850. The mille-feuille was made with homemade flaky pastry, sour cream, and Shine Muscat grapes from Okayama, topped with a snail-shaped cookie. It also came with homemade yogurt sorbet and coconut tuile. The parfait was loaded with goodies like cheesecake, crumble cookies, vanilla ice cream, fresh peaches, special peach sauce, raspberry sauce, yogurt mousse, chiffon cake, and cornflakes, all accompanied by a Peach Tea for ¥450. The sweet Shine Muscat paired well with the slightly tangy sour cream in the mille-feuille. The staff remembered me from my previous visit to their sister café, which was a pleasant surprise. Cake & cafe "tenteko" located in Osaka Sekime Takadono. The owner used to work at oyatsu cafeHOLIC and recently opened this new cafe. I saw a few followers visit this place, and since it's within biking distance from my place, I thought I must go! Finally, I went there. This time, I had the "Whole Peach Tart" for ¥800 and a "Hojicha Latte" for ¥430. They use Okayama's Seishu white peaches, which made a cute and visually appealing tart with juicy peaches and crispy crust. I went in the late evening and got the last piece of tart. The peaches had just arrived, and I was allowed to choose the peaches to use in the tart. The interior of the cafe is lovely and charming. The owner's mother was also there, talking about the new sweets in the Hankyu underground. It was a cozy and welcoming cafe. The other sweets looked delicious too, and I would love to visit again.

I learned about this cafe from Holic-san's Instagram. When I was thinking about opening my own cafe, I told Holic-san about my ideal shop and she hired me as a part-time worker. Both Holic-san and the owner of the shop are young women. I was impressed by that. The cafe is located near the Kansai Takadono Station, I forgot which exit, but it's right near the exit. It's convenient in the summer to be close to the station. I walked from the Kansai Naruike Station, which took about 5 minutes. The cafe is small with 3 counter seats, 1 table for 2, and 1 table for 4. When I visited, they were running the place alone and had just opened, so they chatted with me a bit. I ordered the following: - Whole Peach Tart 800 yen Inside the peach is mascarpone cream. It's gently sweet and you can eat as much as you want. The tart crust is slightly firm and the almond dough was delicious. The snail cookie on top was also tasty. I enjoyed it with an iced cafe latte.
