I went to eat some dumplings, but I really wanted to come here too, so I kept it light and stopped by "Wine Style Budou no Ki". Last week, I had some delicious food here and the staff was very friendly, so I decided to visit again. According to the pamphlet I got last time, there are several locations in Fukuoka, and in Fukutsu, they also have cottages and glamping! I ordered the "Overflowing Sparkling Wine" to start off with a cheers! The sparkling wine is served in a unique acrylic cup. I also ordered the "Daikon Oden with Porcini Sauce" as a snack. It looked interesting with brown sauce poured over the daikon. The flavor was rich and delicious. The staff recognized me from my last visit and offered me a complimentary glass of white wine, which was really tasty. I also added the "Homemade Salami Grilled" which paired perfectly with the wine. I'll definitely be back here again next time without making any detours. The total bill came to 1,980 yen.

A shop located on the 1st floor of Daiwarot Hotel. The interior is spacious and relaxing, suitable for individuals or groups. Recommended dishes include olive assortment, truffle-scented croquettes, okonomiyaki with blue cheese sauce, and crispy bacon and mushroom. The croquettes are small and crispy cream croquettes. The okonomiyaki with blue cheese sauce has a rich blue cheese topping instead of sauce, and is garnished with prosciutto instead of bonito flakes. Orders are made through a touch panel, and the female staff working there is very friendly and attentive.

This is my first visit. I went to Budou no Ki located in Kuuten at Hakata Station. It is a buffet style restaurant where you order only the main dish. I don't remember the price, but it was quite a good deal. I added foie gras to my meat, but I don't remember the taste very well.

I felt like having wine, so I visited the restaurant. Already a little tipsy and not very hungry, I ordered bottle after bottle of wine without much food. The first appetizer that came out was sazae (turban shell) and prosciutto wrapped around like Pocky sticks. The prosciutto had a rich and flavorful taste, very delicious. This definitely makes the wine go down smoothly (laughs). The white wine seemed to have better value for money than the red wine. Personally, I'm not a fan of being served chilled red wine... The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service from the staff were excellent, as expected from Budou no Ki. The location is great, and the spacious seating makes it convenient for a quick drink.

In February 2022, I stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hakata Reisen. For breakfast, I went to "Wine Style Budou no Ki" on the 1st floor of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was from 7:00 to 10:00 (last entry at 9:30) and cost 1,650 yen for adults, 990 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschoolers. The buffet included motsunabe, Hakata ramen, original mentaiko, and other local specialties. The marutofu tofu was also delicious. The Hakata ramen was a DIY style, and the motsunabe was mild and perfect for breakfast. It was a great experience to see a variety of local ingredients lined up at the buffet. Having a casual drink at a wine bar. "WineStyle Budo no Ki" in Reisencho, along the Kokutai Road. Located on the 1st floor of a new hotel, Daiwa Roynet Hotel, and Budo no Ki... similar to the scheme on the 2nd floor of a hotel in Nishi Nakasu. There is a counter facing the Kokutai Road, similar to the one in Nishi Nakasu. Power outlets and Wi-Fi are available. Orders are taken through tablet devices. During happy hour, a set of sparkling wine and tapas is priced at 500 yen plus tax, which seems like a good deal. The sparkling wine lacks a bit of fizz, but the tapas offer great value. To make it worth it, I also had a drink at Tap Marche before heading home. The total bill was 1265 yen, including tax and no cover charge. Not bad, right? The location near the station was great, and the food was delicious. There were some dishes I had never tried before, and each dish was exciting and satisfying. They were very accommodating in allowing us to have a private party, which we really appreciated. The quality of the all-you-can-drink drinks was excellent.
