Despite the low prices of around 300 yen for both drinks and food, the quality of the dishes is very high. The grilled salted mackerel and grilled salmon belly are particularly delicious, with rich flavors and thick cuts. The butter-grilled live scallops are also a favorite, as they are cooked right in front of you. Overall, everything is so tasty that you'll want to try everything on the menu.

I went to a movie in Tennoji and on the way back, I went to "Robatayaki Aburahiei"! This is a restaurant I have been to a few times before! I toasted with a draft beer and ordered the scallops, which are a must-have here! I also had some deep-fried yam. It's a traditional robatayaki place that I used to visit often. The restaurant is spacious, and despite the current situation, there are quite a few customers! The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively! The scallops that arrived were excellent, as expected of their specialty! The squid and pork belly were also delicious! They have a variety of local sake, so you can enjoy drinking as well! If you want to have a casual drink in Tennoji, this is the place to go! Thank you for the meal!

The phrase "robata-yaki" is nostalgic. In the past, there were many restaurants with "robata-yaki" in their name. The staff would serve the food with large spatulas. There would be a grill in front of you, surrounded by fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, this time we were seated in a private room, so the food was handed to us. Due to the state of emergency, last orders are at 7pm. We started with a bottle of red wine, which was reasonably priced and quite good. The side dishes were around 300 yen each. I hope the state of emergency is lifted soon so we can enjoy a more relaxed and fun dining experience.

I came to the Tennoji store of Rikimaru Group. I take a seat at the counter in front of the grill at the Rikimaru Group's robatayaki restaurant. It's a seat close to the grill, but the air conditioning is working well and it's cool and comfortable. I moisten my throat with a draft beer. Edamame beans are served as an appetizer. They come out almost at the same time as the beer. There seems to be no end to the trouble between foreign tourists and the appetizer issue, but I think it's good that the appetizer comes out at the same time as the drink because otherwise you would be idle until the food arrives. Especially in restaurants where it takes time for the food to be cooked, I think it is necessary. From left to right, we have chicken heart, gizzard, tsukune, and yakitori. When it comes to yakitori, I can't help but compare it to my favorite restaurant, and indeed there were some that were not cooked enough. Since the yakitori doesn't match my favorite restaurant, I decide to enjoy other dishes. I have a tomato chu-hi. Grilled whole squid is served. I wish the staff were a bit more energetic in a place like this. Well, considering the price, I guess it's not too bad.

On June 8th, I decided to try my luck and went to a restaurant for their annual "Robata Day" where all items are half price. There are two branches of this restaurant group near Tennoji, so I felt like my chances of getting a table were higher. The first place was full so I left and tried this place instead. They asked how many people and seated us at a table. The restaurant was almost full but the service was smooth. Each dish we ordered was well presented and had a good portion size. The quality of the food was decent, nothing outstanding, but considering the "half price festival" on that day, it felt like a great deal. I would rate it around 6 out of 10, mainly because of the value for money. I probably wouldn't go there during regular times though.

I visited a restaurant with my colleagues after work. I was impressed by the chef cooking in front of us, as well as the delicious ingredients laid out before us. He skillfully cooked while taking orders from about 15 customers, adding sauce to ingredients, peeling large shrimp, and preparing dishes according to the waitstaff's instructions for the tatami room customers. It was amazing to see him multitasking and coordinating with other kitchen staff. The prices were very reasonable, and we left feeling full and extremely satisfied.
