It's been a while since I revisited. It was around 4:30 pm, so even though it was a Saturday, it wasn't crowded. I didn't take any photos, but the sushi rice was slightly warm and the amount of rice was just right. You can choose between normal and less rice, and also whether you want wasabi or not, which is nice. The sushi was delicious. The fish also seemed fresh. I remember there used to be more and bigger pieces of fish, but overall, I am satisfied.

After work, I felt like having some quick sushi, so I searched and ended up at this restaurant. It is located on the 7th floor of Grand Front South Building, right outside Osaka Station, so the location is excellent. I was satisfied with the sushi and appetizers. The fact that they had Yamazaki for highball was a big plus for me personally! I will definitely come back when I feel like having some quick sushi again. *I forgot to take a picture of the sushi, sorry! ^^;

Even in Hokkaido, where it originated, this conveyor belt sushi chain only has two stores in Kansai. I remember going to the Sapporo store before and being amazed by how delicious it was. The store on the 7th floor of Grand Front South Building is always bustling. You can carefully choose from today's recommendations to the classics, all from the touch panel images. I tend to just pick whatever catches my eye first, but everything at Kantaro is fresh and delicious. It's relatively affordable, so it's really good value for money. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the assorted 3-piece set with tuna, gunkan, and seared toppings. I ate to my heart's content again today!

It is an open kitchen where the sushi is handed directly from the chef, so it feels safe. I had boiled octopus, eel, natto roll, sea urchin battleship, steamed shrimp, scallop, and crunch roll. The crunch roll was shrimp tempura wrapped in seaweed, then rolled in vinegar rice and sprinkled with burnt breadcrumbs. There were many Hokkaido ingredients which were fresh and delicious.

I went to eat sushi at "Hakodate Nigiri Sushi Kantaro" in Osaka. I had made a promise to give baby turtles, a Yellow-bellied Slider and a Red-eared Slider, to my reptile keeping mentor, I-chan. We decided to meet at a bookstore to buy reptile-related books and have dinner together. I ordered some sushi from a conveyor belt while I-chan ordered from the tablet. I had salmon and scallops from the belt, and then I ate what I-chan left behind. We were in a rush, so we quickly finished our meal and headed to catch the train. As the train departed, I-chan waved goodbye from outside. When I got home, I realized that I was charged for drinks and tuna dishes that I didn't order. I called the restaurant, and they apologized and promised to send me a refund via cash on delivery. The food was delicious, but the billing mistake was a bit inconvenient.

Recommended for those who want to eat fresh, fatty sushi. You can watch the tuna being prepared right in front of you and enjoy otoro, chutoro, and akami immediately. The luxurious tuna melts in your mouth. If you want to indulge in a lunch or dinner experience with a little extra attention to taste, this place offers reasonable prices.

I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to visit this conveyor belt sushi restaurant where I can adjust my portions. It's not the kind of place where I can eat 20 plates like I normally would at a chain sushi restaurant. The sushi here is made by skilled chefs behind the counter, and the taste is excellent. Thank you for the meal.

When I was talking about the deliciousness of Kanazawa Maimon Sushi at Lucua, a gourmet S Mama interjected, saying that if you want high-end conveyor belt sushi, you should go to Kantaro on the 7th floor of Grand Front. Full of Hakodate specialties. So I decided to give it a try. The cutlery is simple. From flour to green tea, they are truly experts. They won't bring you pickled ginger unless you ask for it. You can find plenty of it at Sushiro. I started with the medium fatty tuna. Quite delicious. This might be promising. The number one bestseller at the restaurant, scallop. Thick and very delicious. Clearly tastier than Maimon's scallop. Soft shell crab wrapped in snow crab. I think it's a soft shell crab nigiri. Squid somen. Quite tasty. Boiled snow crab. Thick and good. Eel. Cheaper than Maimon but tastes the same. Fatty tuna belly. Nicely cut. Over 1000 yen for 2 pieces but very satisfying. Fatty tuna seared with a blowtorch. Cheaper than Maimon but unfortunately couldn't clear the area issue. I tried the Ganki as it's from Hokkaido. The taste is okay. As expected from a gourmet's recommendation, the scallop, eel, and fatty tuna nigiri surpassed Maimon. However, the seared fatty tuna was better at Maimon (although more expensive). Kantaro is truly impressive. I think I will come back in the future.

When you go to Hakodate, be sure to try rotating sushi at Kantaro. In Sapporo, Triton and Hanamaru are good choices. It's surprising that they also have branches in Osaka. It's great to be able to enjoy authentic Hokkaido sushi. I went at 11:20 on a Sunday and was seated right away. There are many good restaurants in Grand Front. It's a bit pricey at around 2800 yen, but it's delicious. It's a place I'd like to visit once a month. Thank you for the meal.

There is a slightly upscale sushi restaurant in Osaka Grand Front. There is usually a line during lunchtime, waited about 15 minutes to get in. Ordered a lot and got full. I want to eat there again. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant has decent dishes but falls short compared to the newer ones around it. The sushi was not bad when Grand Front Osaka first opened, but after 7 years, it started to look less impressive. The menu includes herring sushi with ginger, eel tempura sushi with less rice, eel with salt-kettle cooking, overflowing salmon roe battleship, clear miso soup with fish, zangi (fried chicken), recommended tuna sampler (lean, fatty, extra fatty), homemade thick rolled omelette, and pickled ginger.

I came here to Osaka for some errands and before heading to a kushikatsu restaurant at Grand Front Osaka for dinner, I stumbled upon Kantarou here! I had tried their sushi in Hakodate before and found it surprisingly delicious for a conveyor belt sushi place, so I wanted to see if it was just as good in Osaka. The atmosphere here is pretty average for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The service was a bit lackluster, maybe due to the pandemic, but it was okay. As for the taste, everything I tried was quite delicious! Especially the fresh sea urchin (one piece for 720 yen) was amazing! I ended up ordering more laughs. I wasn't very hungry after eating kushikatsu, but the fact that it was delicious means it deserves a high rating among conveyor belt sushi restaurants. Overall, I found Kantarou at Tokyo Station when I visited there, so I would like to try the one at Tokyo Station next time!

I was able to enter the revolving sushi restaurant on the 7th floor of Grand Front South Building without waiting. I ordered a seafood chawanmushi... The waiter brought it and said, "We don't have mitsuba, so I'll take 100 yen off." Then another waiter said, "Chawanmushi doesn't have mitsuba, right?" And the two waiters had a 2-minute conversation. I couldn't help but laugh. When I asked the waiter, "Can I eat this?" he replied, "What did you order?" I didn't know, so he checked the order history and said, "It's seafood chawanmushi." It was a bit off-putting from the start. The shirako tempura battleship sushi didn't come even after waiting for 20 minutes. Oh well~ Besides the taste and price, there seems to be something lacking. Despite that, I ended up spending almost 4,000 yen. Thank you for the meal *\(^o^)/*

Not bad, but there are plenty of more cost-effective sushi options in Osaka that are satisfyingly cheap. That's why I went to try the sushi at Grand Front, which I had been curious about. It's not bad, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. Now that I know about Osaka's affordable sushi options, the excitement is a bit lacking, I guess.

I waited a little before entering and had sushi for dinner. Each piece had a generous amount of topping and I was very satisfied. In particular, the Negitoro in the photo was irresistible for Negitoro lovers. Highly recommended. This place is bound to be popular - great sushi. I want to come back again.

I went to dinner with someone I had wanted to eat with for a long time. They requested delicious sea urchin, so I thought of a high-end sushi restaurant in Hokkaido, but considering the price, I decided to go to Hanataro Osaka branch. It is located in Grand Front Osaka. We started with a toast with beer and plum wine. The tuna and engawa were delicious! It was definitely not the level of conveyor belt sushi! I also tried the octopus tempura. I also had the local sake Goshikizakura from Hakodate. It was a nervous first date, but it seems like the sea urchin was also delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Hanataro is a well-known high-end conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hokkaido. It's great to be able to enjoy it in Osaka without having to travel all the way to Hokkaido. I heard that they reopened after the lifting of the state of emergency, so it was my debut visit. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, with every other seat left empty for infection prevention. It seems like the impact is still ongoing. I checked the plate colors first (laughs) because getting it wrong could be a hassle during payment. The plates with a design like Louis Vuitton's Damier pattern are the most expensive (laughs). The Negitoro Mountain looked Instagram-worthy with its generous portion of rolled sushi. The live scallop was sweet and thick, showing a level above other conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The red miso soup was good, but the half-cooked egg was a bit lukewarm. The tamagoyaki was incredibly thick, just like the one you'd expect from a sushi restaurant. The chef was constantly recommending dishes with enthusiasm, which was a lively sight not seen at places like Sushiro or Kura Sushi (laughs). I'm full! Thank you for the delicious meal.

This restaurant was featured on Matsuko's show! In the prestigious ranking, they came in 2nd place for their Inca no Mezame potatoes! I bought some for takeout, but they were a bit lacking in salt. I want to warm them up in the oven at home and sprinkle some salt on them! I'll definitely be going back again!

Restaurant located in the Grand Front Osaka South Building restaurant street. It's always crowded. Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and indulge a little. The cheapest sushi is 139 yen + tax. Usually, I set a limit, but today is a celebration so we will eat whatever we want! Highly recommend the seared fatty tuna. My husband was in ecstasy because it was so delicious. I had the raw crab sushi. It was plump, sweet, and amazing. The red miso soup had so many clams in it. Each clam was taken out of its shell before eating. No fishy smell or grittiness, just plump and delicious. We focused on the sushi, forgetting our conversation. For dessert, we had Hokkaido Wagyu beef sushi. It was incredibly tender and delicious. It cost around 7,500 yen for the two of us. It felt more worth it than having a course meal!
