They offer a variety of fresh seafood from Misaki, Oizaki beef, and vegetables from Aoki Farm, as well as a wide selection of craft beer and sake. They also have a drink-all-you-can course menu that seems suitable for various occasions. The menu includes 2 appetizers, a platter of 5 types of fresh fish from Misaki and Tsukiji, domestic raw oysters, grilled Oizaki beef, pumpkin tempura, fluffy Satsuma-age, plum mascarpone, Ishikari pickles, clay pot-cooked butter rice with local fish and salmon roe, a finishing soup, and a melon. From the fresh sashimi platter to the juicy domestic oysters and the grilled Oizaki beef, each dish is carefully crafted and delicious. The ultimate butter, salmon roe, and local fish rice dish at the end is simply heavenly. The interior was clean and we could relax in a semi-private room. We started with a toast with Ho-o Mitabi Ume soda. The staff can order non-alcoholic drinks using their smartphones. We ordered Instagram-worthy dishes like ikura and sea urchin topped with boiled eggplant. The seared Ozaki beef Yukke-style was tender and delicious. The fluffy Satsuma-age was a must-order. We enjoyed a variety of fresh sashimi from Toyosu Market with salt. The truffle-scented fried potatoes in half-size were a perfect snack. The grilled Ozaki beef was juicy and the accompanying vegetables were delicious. We also had pickled local vegetables, which I love. The gyoza recommended by Matsuo was excellent, with just the right amount of spiciness. We paired it with Japanese sake in a glass. The seared mentaiko and smoked herring roe went well with the sake. I went to a restaurant where I could enjoy delicious meat again today. It is located a 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very stylish with beautiful interior. The meal at Morgen Ikebukuro was a feast of surprises and delights. The first dish, boiled egg with salmon roe and sea urchin on lotus root, presented a luxurious combination. The rich flavors of boiled egg, salmon roe, and sea urchin spread throughout the mouth, and I was enchanted by its deliciousness. Next, the seared Oizaki beef tartare was a perfect harmony of seared beef and tartare seasoning, allowing me to savor the luxury of the meat with each bite. And then, the grilled Oizaki beef. I could thoroughly enjoy the tenderness and richness of the meat, and the flavor that spread in my mouth with each chew brought a sense of happiness. Noteworthy was the praised "Onomatopoeia Gyoza" by Mats◯. One bite was enough to understand the reason for the praise. It was a dumpling filled with juicy meat, truly an exquisite dish. The Oizaki beef tendon garlic rice, with the aroma of garlic and the texture of beef tendon, stimulated my appetite and brought satisfaction. The Oizaki beef meat sushi also surprised with its deliciousness, allowing me to enjoy the refined flavor of the meat and the freshness of the toppings. I met up with friends and we opted for the 2-hour all-you-can-drink GOLD plan, priced at 5500 yen. The drink menu was quite extensive, and even though we don't drink much alcohol, having soft drinks included in the all-you-can-drink option was reassuring. We ordered through a QR code on the table, and once ordered, a sound from the kitchen confirmed the order. The courses started with crab miso tofu and prosciutto as appetizers, followed by a sashimi platter with a variety of fresh fish. The highlight was the Japanese oysters, which were served fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed a variety of grilled vegetables and chicken, as well as a unique fluffy sweet potato tempura. The meal ended with a hearty beef sushi and a comforting miso soup. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and I would love to try their PLATINUM plan or a la carte options on my next visit.

I used it for a recent update meeting with friends. It's more of a seafood and meat bar than a traditional izakaya. The interior of the restaurant was stylish. I saw a few couples on dates as well. On this day, we ordered the "GOLD Plan" which includes a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option with draft beer and highballs. The menu included: Crab miso tofu and prosciutto as appetizers. A selection of 5 fresh fish from Misaki fishing port and Toyosu market, which included squid, scallops, bonito, red sea bream, and sea bass. We enjoyed them with seaweed salt or soy sauce. Domestic fresh oysters were also served. The summer oysters were delicious with a hint of seaweed flavor. We also tried the morning-picked vegetables with anchovy sauce, which was rich in flavor. Grilled chicken and seasonal vegetables were light and healthy. The tempura was fluffy and simple. Homemade pickles were served in individual plates, which I really enjoyed. The grilled beef sushi was seared in front of us and served with plenty of rice. We finished with a warm soup to end the meal. The all-you-can-drink option was reasonably priced at 5,500 yen. We were satisfied with this set, but if you have room in your stomach, you can add additional items from the menu. There were many other dishes we wanted to try as well.

The shop has a contract with a store that buys from Tsukiji Fish Market and Misaki Fishing Port, which is attractive. Each ingredient is carefully selected, and you can enjoy the highest quality course created by the love and professionalism towards fish. The stylish and clean interior is very soothing. - Appetizer: Crab Miso with Tomato and Mascarpone. It's nice to be able to try a small amount of each. - Assorted Fresh Fish from Misaki Fishing Port and Tsukiji (5 types): Mainly from Misaki Fishing Port on Miura Peninsula, combined with Tsukiji Market for a fresh assortment. Bonito (lightly seared and fragrant), Bluefish (refreshing and fluffy), Scallop (thick and sweet), Saury (excellent fat content), and Sillago (crunchy and refreshing). You order drinks using a QR code. We started with a toast with beer, followed by appetizers like fish soup and tofu. The fish soup had a rich broth and was really delicious. We also enjoyed a sashimi platter with bonito, red sea bream, and shochu fish. The shochu fish was similar to yellowtail, and it tasted great with seaweed salt and slightly sweet soy sauce. The bagna càuda sauce was buttery and rich, especially delicious with potatoes. The truffle potato fries were crispy and fragrant with truffle. On a hot early summer night, nothing beats beer! So, I decided to visit a restaurant that specializes in "phantom wagyu beef and fresh fish delivered directly from Misaki Port" called "Morgen Ikebukuro Nishiguchi". The restaurant was quite clean and stylish, as it seemed to have just opened. I ordered the regular course and started with some appetizers while enjoying a beer. The miso soup had a rich flavor and was delicious. Next, I had a sashimi platter with red snapper, seared bonito, and a white fish called "shokko" which is a type of fish that changes its name as it grows, similar to amberjack. I tried it with both dashi soy sauce and seaweed salt, and personally preferred the dashi soy sauce. Then, I had some "bagna cauda" with a sauce rich in butter, which I dipped potatoes and bell peppers in. It was undeniably delicious. Following that, I indulged in some "truffle-scented potato fries" which were perfectly fried and irresistible. I also tried the "salt koji-marinated chicken ham seared" which had a fragrant and carefully seasoned taste, enjoyed with a highball. Lastly, I had the "country-style negi miso grilled rice ball" as a finishing touch. The grilled rice ball was delicious. Although I didn't have wagyu beef, I thoroughly enjoyed everything and felt satisfied. I've been feeling a bit tired from the summer heat recently, but this meal was a perfect pick-me-up.

My previous workplace was located near Ikebukuro station, so I used it often. It's a really large station with lots of people, over 40 exits, and it can be confusing to navigate. It took me about 6-7 minutes to walk from the nearest exit to the restaurant, so it's best to plan for at least a 10-minute walk from the station. The restaurant has table seating, counter seating, and semi-private rooms, so be sure to check when making a reservation. At this restaurant, you order using QR codes, which is a common practice these days. For my first drink, I had the TROUS craft beer from Uchu Brewing. It's made with Nelson Sauvin hops, giving it a fruity white wine-like flavor. It's not widely available, so if the restaurant has it, I highly recommend trying it. One of my favorite salads was the prosciutto and mixed nuts mascarpone salad. It's a colorful salad with greens, pink prosciutto, and a touch of luxury with the prosciutto. It's a refreshing and delicious salad. The ikura and sea urchin topped onsen egg was a luxurious dish with plenty of seafood on top of the egg. The combination of flavors was just right, making you crave for a bowl of rice. The soft-boiled egg with a runny yolk was perfectly cooked. I don't usually order fried foods, but occasionally I crave for some fried potatoes. The truffle-scented fried potatoes were crispy and flavorful, making them a great snack with drinks. Next, I had my favorite Yamazaki highball, which goes well with any dish. I also love onigiri, so I ordered the countryside negi miso grilled onigiri as my last dish. The combination of savory miso and rice was a satisfying way to end the meal. The highlight of the meal was the grilled Ozaki beef, which took the longest to be served. Ozaki beef is a rare and premium Japanese beef that is highly sought after. The medium rare grilled beef was juicy and flavorful, truly a top-quality wagyu. It's recommended to order this dish first as it takes time to prepare. Overall, it was a delicious meal with a variety of dishes and flavors. The tiramisu dessert was a perfect ending to a great dining experience.

It's been a while since I met up with a friend in Ikebukuro for a meal! The restaurant seemed newly opened, and we were lucky to be seated in a beautiful private room. I was surprised by the cute packaging of Symmetry Beer, which seemed to appeal to women. The craft beer had a space-like design and a fruity taste with a strong hop flavor. It paired well with the fresh fish carpaccio we ordered first. The deep-fried white fish tempura was fluffy and delicious, something I had never tried before! And then, the highlight was the Ozaki beef! The Ozaki beef steak was a beautiful pink color, similar to roast beef, and the meat was tender and flavorful. It was a treat to have the meat seared in front of us! We also enjoyed a refreshing lemon sour with a touch of lemon. It was a satisfying meal overall! I also visited Sakano Cafe at the Nekofesu 2021 event at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store and tried their Strawberry Shaved Ice. It was a luxurious treat with two types of strawberries, complete with stems for a strawberry-picking experience. The addition of nuts, custard, and ginger at the bottom was a stylish touch, balancing the sweetness with a refreshing ginger flavor. The strawberry red wine compote on the side was delicious even for non-alcohol drinkers! I'm glad I could visit during the event period!

At the west exit of Ikebukuro, West First Street... When it comes to drinking in Ikebukuro, I always end up coming to the west exit. This time, a friend made a reservation at a restaurant where you can eat Ozaki beef. The name of the restaurant is Morgen. I wonder what that means? The interior of the restaurant is a clean and spacious place where you can relax. There are a few customers, and the private seating allows you to enjoy without being disturbed by others, which is nice! I'm grateful to my friend! Creative dishes and carefully selected drinks all look really delicious! First, a toast with beer! The appetizer is a clear soup, and it's seriously delicious! If this is the appetizer, the style of serving it after the meal is also innovative and nice! I'm currently on a diet, so I kept the meal moderate, but... The half-cooked egg topped with plenty of salmon roe and sea urchin, taking a bite with a spoon and then washing it down with beer. How luxurious! The second drink is a highball made with "Ikko Mon" sweet potato shochu. The sweet potato aroma mixed with soda goes well with the meal. The sashimi assortment includes grouper, fresh whitebait, bonito, sardine, and squid, all sourced from Misaki fishing port. Mmm, the "Ikko Mon" goes down smoothly! Finally, the awaited Ozaki beef, seared Wagyu and meat sushi are enjoyed with a cup of green tea! Eating the meat seared in front of you, topped with plenty of sashimi, with egg yolk is a delight! Eating the meat sushi with wasabi and a hint of dashi soy sauce is a quick and enjoyable experience! It was truly delicious and a great time. Thank you for the meal.

Located about a 5-minute walk from the West exit, this restaurant is a hidden gem that doesn't look like your typical izakaya. We ordered a 7-course meal and started with a delicious fish soup as a complimentary dish, served in stylish bowls. The following dishes were eagerly anticipated. The small dishes of crab miso tofu and prosciutto with tomato caprese were delightful. The sashimi platter with fish from Misaki Fishing Port and Toyosu was served with seaweed salt and soy sauce from Niigata, and tasted fresh. The live oysters from Iwate's Kizaki were plump and sizable. The tempura of local vegetables and fluffy sweet potato tempura were light and easy to eat. The bagna cauda with porcini sauce had steamed vegetables, giving it a unique texture compared to the usual bagna cauda. The three kinds of rare delicacies, including plum crystal, had a creamy flavor with mascarpone, a new taste experience. Finally, the local fish sushi was so delicious that we finished it in no time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Morgen, located about a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Ikebukuro Station, was visited. The interior of the restaurant had a clean and stylish atmosphere with table seating, a counter, semi-private rooms, and private rooms available. This flexibility was great for various purposes. We ordered the "SPECIAL Plan" featuring Miura Peninsula's seafood and rice field-grown oysters from Yonezaki, which included a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option with sake and shochu. The meal started with an appetizer consisting of a delicious miso soup, crab miso tofu, and tomato and prosciutto caprese. It was a rare treat to have miso soup as an appetizer, and it was surprisingly tasty. The course meal included a luxurious seafood platter with five varieties sourced from Misaki Fishing Port and Toyosu Market, such as Grouper, Golden Eye Snapper, Bonito, Sardines, and scallops, each seasoned differently. The platter was beautifully presented, allowing us to enjoy both the taste and visual appeal. We also enjoyed a trio of delicacies - salted squid, umeshu jelly, and salmon and salmon roe in Ishikari marinade. The umeshu jelly was mixed with 100% shark cartilage. The large oysters from Iwate Prefecture were creamy and delicious. The highlight of the meal was the Bagna Cauda with morning-picked vegetables served with porcini sauce, which was incredibly creamy and flavorful. We also had tempura of local vegetables and fluffy sweet potato fritters, with the latter being well-seasoned and addictive. The flounder sushi with ginger and shiso was a delightful treat. The drink menu for the all-you-can-drink option was also extensive. Overall, every dish was delicious, and we had a pleasant time in the lovely atmosphere.

They offer table seating and private rooms, making it suitable for various occasions. The drink menu is extensive, with a focus on craft beers like the TORES Beer "Uchuu Mosaic" Hazy IPA. It has a citrusy aroma and is very easy to drink. The truffle-scented fried potatoes and potato salad paired well with the beer. The seared Ozaki beef Yukke-style, seared tableside, was a luxurious experience. The beef sushi was also delicious. Overall, it was a fun and delicious dining experience.
