Bills, praised as the king of casual dining by Timez. I had tried to visit the restaurant in Kanto several times but it was always crowded, so I gave up. Then, last summer, it opened in Nishinakasu, Fukuoka. I visited in early August when the crowds had subsided a bit. I apologize for reviewing a different season, but this is a summer story. The newly renovated Mizukami Park, located east of the Tenjin Big Bang area. The blue sky and waterfront atmosphere complement each other. Around 9:00 am on a weekday, there were about 20 people in line. The sun was already blazing hot. While waiting in line, I could see the kitchen of bills. Pancakes were being continuously cooked without pause. The batter was mixed minimally to keep the meringue intact. Fluffy pancakes with height were being cooked. Finally, I was seated. The menu was a bit confusing. A casual dining experience inspired by a visit to the owner and star chef Bill's home. I decided to share two dishes with my family. My family had fresh orange juice, and I had a cocktail. Freshly squeezed orange juice served in a small glass. It was delicious and refreshing. I ordered the Classic Bellini cocktail from the menu. It had a sweet and refreshing peach juice flavor. I ordered the Full Aussie Breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, roasted tomatoes, fennel sausage, and mushrooms. Bills' scrambled eggs have been rated as the world's best egg dish by a famous international newspaper. They were creamy and smooth, made with plenty of butter. The bacon and sausage were crispy and flavorful. The sausage was spicy and well-seasoned. The balance of flavors with the lightly seasoned eggs was perfect. I also ordered the Ricotta Pancakes with fresh bananas and honeycomb butter. The fluffy pancakes were stacked in three layers, with fresh bananas on the side and honeycomb butter on top. The butter slowly melted, creating a fizzy and delicate texture. It had a light texture but was quite filling, perfect for sharing. The cutlery was from Robert Welch, with a heavy design that made a loud noise when dropped on a few tables. The balance with the table size may not have been ideal. I also had a cafe latte, which was delicious. The drinks were all enjoyable. The staff was calm and friendly. The line of customers never seemed to end, showing how popular the restaurant is. Bills, which opened its first branch in Darlinghurst, a suburb of Sydney, Australia in 1993, has a stylish and well-thought-out interior. It would be comfortable with a moderate number of customers. It seems a bit calmer now, so I would like to visit for dinner next time.
