After finishing a night shift, I suddenly had a craving for yakiniku, so I headed to "Torifuku Honpo" in Osaka. I was in a hurry to eat, and I remembered there was a great 24-hour yakiniku place near Temmabashi Station in Osaka. I rushed over, only to find it closed. I was so disappointed because I thought they were open 24 hours, 365 days a year. I ended up stopping at a convenience store to grab a can of beer to calm my nerves. As I wandered around the area, I found many enticing restaurants, but it was too early in the morning for most of them. Eventually, I stumbled upon a chicken meat shop called Torifuku. The sign drew me in, and I told the owner I was from Akashi. We quickly bonded over our shared love for Akashi. I bought some chicken thigh meat for 200 yen and some chicken liver for 200 yen. The liver was a bit bitter, but I learned it was harmless and decided to eat it anyway. The liver sashimi was surprisingly satisfying, and the chicken thigh meat was delicious. It was a simple, adult relationship based on enjoying good food together. I also tried a special chicken dish for 400 yen, which was also very satisfying. Overall, the food was delicious, and I left the restaurant feeling full and happy.

Wandering around Tenma for a second spot. Located on the north side of "Plara Tenma", a nice shop with a welcoming atmosphere with vinyl sheets set up. Drawn in by the smile of the older sister on my first visit. This time, I decided to try sweet potato shochu on the rocks. I ordered a plate of chopped green onions, grilled items such as chicken neck, white fish, and four other dishes, along with broad beans. A plate of cabbage and a shichirin grill were served as appetizers. The cabbage was generously dressed and the shichirin grill was a perfect heating device on the slightly chilly day. As I enjoyed the cabbage as a side dish, the plate of chopped green onions arrived. What is this?? A mountain of green onions. Even when I broke it down, there were still plenty of green onions. I was delighted as a green onion lover, but the other two people with me said, "There are too many green onions." And then, the grilled items were served. It was my first time trying chicken white fish. I had the impression that it would be rich, but surprisingly it was quite light. A bit unsatisfying. I love chicken neck, and the other two dishes were delicious as well. Then, the broad beans arrived. I'm not a big fan, but... it was a generous portion. It was simply split on one side and grilled with a soy sauce broth in the dish, which added a nice aroma. I enjoyed it. It's nice to be able to enjoy rare parts of chicken at an affordable price. I look forward to going back as the weather gets colder. I heard there is a second branch nearby...

★Temma Tour★
March 17, 2012 (Saturday) 12:19:31 NEW!
Theme: Yakitori
I went to the Temma Tour last night~ It was Friday night, so everywhere was packed! Ura HIROYA, I Love Wine, so many places! Torikokoro Torifuku's first store was full, so I went to the second store~ I ordered chicken skin and heart, seseri, and Tamba chicken thigh~ It's delicious, light and easy to eat compared to beef~ Tamahimo~ I love this~ It's an egg that is still inside the chicken's belly~ Do you know that? This time, I had it grilled~ Temma is lively and fun! Such a vibrant town~ There are still so many more places I want to visit~ Where should I go for the second stop? It's crowded, even at 9 PM~ The place is called Torikokoro Torifuku. Phone number: 06-6351-3147. Address: 6-3 Ikeda-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka. Business hours: 18:00-23:00. Closed on Sundays and holidays.

I have eaten the chicken here many times! I also come during the day! The recommended dishes are the twisted neck skin, twisted chicken tenderloin, and bone-in twisted chicken thigh! Personally, I love the raw chicken liver! The chicken has a strong flavor and the saltiness and sauce are just to my liking! If I had to point out something, it would be that the outside tables can be cold! The hot sake was excellent! It was perfect for the cold weather! When I went to the restroom, I found it warm inside! Overall, it was delicious! It had a lot of Asian vibes! A side note, the main branch had a winter limited edition dish of local chicken sukiyaki! It's rare to have local chicken sukiyaki, so I was happy to try it! It was delicious! On March 8, 2014, it seems like it will appear on the show "Ad-machi Heaven"! The crystal plate that used to be on the second floor is gone, and now Chicken Soul Torifuku 3rd branch has a crystal plate with crystal grilled chicken? Could it be that only Chicken Soul Torifuku serves grilled chicken on a crystal plate?

During the day, it seems like they retail at a meat shop in the market, but at night, it transforms completely. Around the time the market closes in the evening, it changes into a place where you can eat grilled chicken over charcoal. I visited with a friend around 6 o'clock in the evening. The restaurant was bustling, with only one table available. We were seated at a table outside and received a thorough explanation from the staff on how to order and how to eat. We ordered some recommended items first and waited while drinking our drinks. When the charcoal grill arrived, we started eating the dishes that came first, all of which were fresh and delicious. Without hesitation, we ordered more. The chicken was incredibly fresh and all the dishes were full of flavor. We tried a variety of items, and they were all delicious, making it a must-visit for chicken lovers.

I went to this restaurant during the Bon festival season in August 2010. I had been curious about it since passing by before. The restaurant had no partitions at the entrance and the smell and smoke from the market aisle were strong. It was a hot day, so I decided to have some grilled chicken skewers and beer. I asked the staff for recommendations and ordered chicken neck, skin, and thigh meat based on the daily specials. I also added Bang Bang Ji, chilled tomatoes, and draft beer from the regular menu. Since I was treated, I didn't know the total cost. It was a style where you grill the food yourself on a charcoal brazier, which was pretty cool. The Bang Bang Ji, made from chicken breast, had a refreshing sesame sauce that paired well with the tomatoes. The chicken neck had a good balance of sweetness, but you have to be careful not to overcook it. The thigh meat was juicy and had a nice texture. I didn't eat the skin, but my companion said it was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the fresh and tasty chicken dishes. The staff mentioned that it was the day of a popular TV show airing, so the restaurant seemed even more popular. I look forward to trying the sashimi next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I caught a cold because I slept with thin bedding, sorry for the long text as usual. Tonight, I would like to share my experience at Torifuku, a chicken-focused restaurant that caught my attention while browsing reviews. The restaurant is located in a working-class area near Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, just a short walk from Temma Station. It opens at 7 pm and is primarily a chicken wholesaler during the day. I sat outside at a table and started with a beer. The beer was served in a tumbler, not a pint glass, and they also offer a 1-liter mega jug of Ebisu beer for 1,200 yen, which didn't seem like a good deal to me. I ordered various chicken dishes cooked on a charcoal grill, including chicken sashimi and assorted sashimi. The chicken sashimi was delicious, especially when paired with lots of green onions. The grilled chicken dishes were reasonably priced at 380 yen per serving, and they also offered unique cuts like Tamahimo (a part between the ovary and oviduct). However, the chicken soup and curry were a bit disappointing, lacking flavor and being too sweet, respectively. The chicken breast sashimi rice bowl was a simple yet tasty dish that I enjoyed. Overall, dining here with four men was affordable, with each person spending less than 4,000 yen. The service was friendly, despite the slightly chaotic atmosphere due to understaffing. The outdoor seating area had uncomfortable chairs made from beer crates, and passing pedestrians and cyclists could be a bit distracting. The small and narrow first floor of the restaurant may not be suitable for those who prefer a cleaner and more spacious dining environment. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would consider returning to explore other interesting restaurants in the area.

Deeply delicious chicken restaurant in Temma, Osaka - Torikokoro Torifuku
Yesterday's first stop for our meetup was Torikokoro Torifuku in Osaka City, Kita-ku, Ikeda-cho 6-3. If you love the deep atmosphere of Temma, you'll surely fall in love with this place. They operate as a butcher shop during the day, so the freshness of the chicken is top-notch. You can cook it yourself to your preferred doneness! The freshness really makes a difference. We started with a toast and then it was time for some delicious chicken grilling. The chicken was incredibly tasty, and it was such a delight to find a truly delicious chicken restaurant after so long. On the second floor, you can enjoy your meat on a special crystal plate. We also had some wings covered in their special sauce and left feeling completely satisfied. I will definitely come back, if only I can find the place... haha.

Once you turn off from Temma Shopping Street, you'll find a different kind of place - a standing wine bar, a seafood izakaya, and other open and inviting shops. Among them is a shop that sells chicken during the day and serves yakitori at night. Just like the recently visited Hammer, they use the same charcoal grill where customers can cook their own food. Outside the shop, there are simple tables and chairs set up, with smoke billowing out. The atmosphere is lively, with customers inviting each other in - a great vibe. I was delighted by the drink options, with Sapporo Black Label bottled beer and Ebisu draft beer - such a luxury! The beer paired perfectly with the yakitori. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the liver and thigh meat were delicious. The tataki with lots of green onions was a standout. They use Tamba Jidori chicken, which has a nice chewy texture that I personally enjoy. One interesting dish was the "tama himo," cooked in a sweet and savory sauce on a copper plate over the charcoal grill. It might seem a bit intimidating, but it was surprisingly tasty. The staff, consisting of two people, seemed a bit overwhelmed with taking orders, but they apologized and were polite in the end. I definitely want to visit this place again. Dining with two people, we ate to our heart's content for around 3000 yen per person, with generous portions.

Visited again? Two days after the previous visit. The grilled chicken skewers (referred to as esophagus by the staff) were incredibly delicious. A must-try for hormone lovers. The chicken thigh sashimi, I regret not ordering it before... it was so delicious.
Revisited just one week after the last visit... I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I went back. Arrived just before 7 pm and found a solo female customer already there. Despite its small size, the counter seating allows solo diners to enjoy the experience. The menu offers grilled skewers starting from 380 yen, with various cuts available like thigh, heart, gizzard, neck, tenderloin, tsukune, and more. The heart skewers were juicy without any gamey taste, the best I've had at any yakitori place. The tenderloin was also delicious. The thigh meat was tasty too. I just revisited, but I'll definitely be back soon.
If you're not looking for a fancy restaurant, but want to enjoy delicious and affordable yakitori, you should definitely give this place a try! Even though it was my second stop of the night, I couldn't resist and devoured the food before taking any photos... The chicken breast tartare is offered at many places, but the one here is among the best. The chicken liver sashimi is definitely worth more than its price. Lately, I haven't found chicken skin at yakitori places to be very tasty, but the neck skin here is different. It's delicious. The texture and flavor are exceptional. I'm determined to try all the grilled items next time. I'll be back soon... maybe even within this week.

Open from 7:00 PM, this place is a butcher shop during the day, so you can enjoy fresh meat from various cuts. If you're unsure about the menu, just ask the manager for recommendations. It used to be a hidden gem, but it's been getting a lot of customers lately after being featured in magazines. You cook the meat yourself, with the first floor having drum tables and charcoal grills, which is delicious. The second floor has tatami seating and gas stoves with crystal plates for a different but equally tasty experience. Enjoy the meat with collagen-rich dipping sauce or just salt. It's a great place to go with friends who you get along well with!

In Tokyo, there is also a place I love that serves delicious chicken yakiniku, where you cook the meat yourself using a charcoal grill. The portion size is good and the food is tasty, so why are we the only ones here? I couldn't help but worry as we enjoyed our meal. Perhaps the prices are a bit high for both the beer and the snacks, which could be the reason.

When passing by the store and being tempted by the appetizing smell of smoke, I couldn't help but stop at the restaurant "Chicken Soul Torifuku". They grill various types of chicken such as Tanba Jidori, Oyama Dori, and Tajima Dori on a charcoal grill. Recommended menu items include bone-in thigh for ¥780, thigh tenderloin for ¥580, chicken skin for ¥580, raw chicken liver for ¥550, and Tanba Jidori green onion Tataki for ¥800. They also offer a variety of rare cuts. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a hearty chicken meal.

I recently saw it on TV! When I went there, I found that the street had become Rakuten Street, and I remember seeing the shops like Torikon Torifuku, Love Wine, Shanhai, and Marushin. The food was really delicious, I never get tired of it no matter how many times I eat there. They close early, but they have a second branch which is convenient! Among many places that are just cheap, you can tell that they put effort into their work. I will go there to eat again early! I will also go there to buy some during the day since they have wholesale. I was satisfied, the grilled chicken skewers were the best.

The main dish here is yakitori-style grilled chicken cooked on a shichirin, and I have confidence in eating raw meat. The meat is delicious. As expected from a chicken specialty restaurant, there are cuts of meat that you can't find elsewhere. Personally, I enjoy raw meat dishes like sashimi platters and chicken breast tartare. Not everyone can eat raw gizzard sashimi, right? It's delicious. The ultimate dish is the fried chicken liver! It's like the foie gras of the chicken. Enjoy it with sesame oil and salt, and a cold beer! It's irresistible!

The restaurant is located in the area between JR Temma Station and Tenroku, just off to the right from Love Wine. This area is known for its unique shops, including many vintage stores. I took a friend from Tokyo here, and they were immediately intrigued. The restaurant also serves chicken dishes. The first floor is small and cozy, perfect for small groups. The menu is easy to understand, with the staff recommending their specialties. I recommend trying the thigh and tenderloin of Tanba Jidori chicken. Grilled over charcoal, the meat is incredibly tender and sweet. We also enjoyed trying a variety of other dishes.

I heard about it, but it was hot, Ten-go! It was delicious. Chicken is really tasty. The location is great. If you sit, I recommend the seat in front of the toilet. It's because it's easy for the waiter to hear your order, the toilet is close, you can see the menu on the wall well, and you don't have to worry about people passing by. The best part was that my friend I brought with me was very happy. I will definitely go back again. Thank you for the meal♪

I wandered around Tenma looking for yakitori and found this restaurant that was at the top on Tabelog. There was a lot of smoke! They were grilling the skewers on charcoal grills and it looked really delicious. As a chicken lover, I had to order the gizzard skewers. They were okay. The liver skewers were creamy and tasty. The white liver was really good. Personally, I really like the back liver, it has a nice texture with a bit of crunchiness. It's a bit of an acquired taste. This liver is located in a hard-to-reach part when you try to separate it from the rest of the liver. Overall, the freshness was great! The thigh meat could have been sliced with deeper cuts for easier eating. I'll definitely go back again.

I love chicken and consider myself a chicken enthusiast, so I packed my colleagues into a taxi and headed to work early. I was tired, so I had decided to eat liver sashimi since morning. I had been curious about Torifuku, a chicken soul, for a while, so I called ahead to confirm that we could bring three people and it was no problem since it was a weekday. We took a seat at a table near the entrance. We grilled the food on a shichirin, but the smoke flowed quite a bit, so it's better to be mindful of suits and such. We immediately placed our order! We ordered mostly from the popular menu ranking. The sashimi was really fresh and delicious. Even my colleague who doesn't like liver was able to eat it. We ended up ordering the sashimi platter twice, and the staff recommended different cuts for us. Instead of gizzards, they gave us hearts. The tataki with plenty of green onions was also delicious. The grilled items were tasty, but it might be nice to have some variation in the sauce. You can ask for extra lemon, so be sure to get some. It goes well with the chicken skin dumplings too. For the finish, we ordered three rice dishes: oyakodon (with large chunks of chicken and a prominent egg yolk), curry (tasty but tastes like homemade curry), and zosui (light broth). The rice servings are quite generous, so be careful not to overeat! This restaurant is now my favorite! The staff are a bit further back, so it can be hard to get their attention.

This area is very lively at night. There are many small shops like a shopping street, wholesalers, vegetable shops, flower shops, and bakeries. It's a place I didn't visit often, but I quite like it. It's within walking distance from JR Temmabashi, Temmoku, Tengoku, and Ogimachi, and there are many small shops where you can enjoy drinking at a low price and do some bar hopping. This review is about Torifuku. This place is a bit unusual. It's a butcher shop during the day! That's why you can eat delicious chicken here. It has been highly praised in other reviews as well, so if you want to eat delicious chicken, be sure to visit this place! You won't be disappointed.
