The restaurant "585" in the Asia Food Court on the 5th floor of OCAT Namba seems to be part of the same group as the neighboring yakiniku restaurant Zero Hachi and the dashi restaurant Monji. They serve Asian cuisine, are Halal certified, and do not provide alcohol. I tried the Gapao rice and it was delicious.

Today is the regular check-up and consultation day at Tomonaga Hospital. After finishing it successfully, I decided to have lunch. I went to the nearby OCAT and used the Osaka Welcome Campaign coupon points I had. The only option available with the remaining points was the Gapao Rice. It was made with Japanese rice and Wagyu beef from Ibaraki Gyohou Akagyu. Despite being a Thai dish, it was delicious with a Japanese twist. The Gapao Rice with pork was a nice surprise. It was a delicious and satisfying meal.

JR Namba Station is located directly above the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) building, which serves as a commercial facility and a terminal for various companies' buses coming from all over the country. The 5th floor of this building is home to various restaurants. Despite a decrease in customers due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a hidden gem spot where you can enjoy a quiet meal. I decided to try a curry and kushikatsu restaurant that opened on March 16th this year. The restaurant is operated by a company called Shunkashuto, which has restaurants based in Osaka. It is unique in that it has received Halal certification and even has a prayer room. This new opening during the pandemic indicates a forward-thinking approach for the post-pandemic era. The restaurant has an Oriental atmosphere with 44 seats and I was the first customer of the day. The curry menu includes Indian curry like Butter Chicken, Thai curry like Massaman, as well as Malaysian, Bangladeshi, and Japanese curry. I chose the Bangladeshi curry with a spicy rating of 5 peppers. The curry was served with rice, boiled egg, coleslaw, and fried onions. The curry had a unique spicy flavor with a creamy sauce, and the rice was perfectly cooked. However, the portion of curry was too small compared to the rice, which was a downside. Overall, the curry was delicious, the rice was excellent, and the staff were friendly, but the balance between curry and rice was lacking.

The catharsis is something invaluable for humans. It doesn't have to be about hope or big dreams. Even small achievements after enduring hardships are the most important. The drama "Gekikaradou" shows how the members bond as they work together. I think it's all about sharing the experience of accomplishing tasks. The Malaysian curry at "Asia Spice Dining 585" in OCAT Mall was delicious. The curry had a good balance of flavor and spices. The option for free extra rice was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great meal.
