Anyway, it was the best during my trip to Fukuoka. I haven't had it since about 20 years ago, and it's still so delicious. The service was also excellent. Even though we wanted to try a variety of dishes after this, we decided to share one portion. They kindly accommodated our request, and as a result, we ended up getting enough for two people. Definitely a must-visit restaurant, Hana-midoru.

I wonder if it's only available in summer? The spicy chicken wings were amazing. I told the staff that my companion really can't eat pickled vegetables, absolutely cannot, but the young woman who brought the dish still placed it in front of my companion, so I have to deduct one star for that.

First challenge at Kawamido, we chose the tasting menu. The sukiyaki was absolutely delicious, a taste that you can't find anywhere else in the area. We were assisted by three staff members, all of whom provided excellent service. Overall, we thought it was a fantastic restaurant and we would definitely want to come back for the sukiyaki.

I was impressed by the fact that it was a major restaurant when I went there for the first time. I forgot to take a picture of the appetizer. The chicken dish had liver and other ingredients, which I think is rare in other restaurants. The soup was rich and enjoyable. It seems like a good place for entertaining or business meals. However, there are parts where you have to prepare the food yourself, so it might be better to use Shin-Miura for serious business entertainment. Depending on the course, there is a possibility that the staff will be with you all the time.

On the first day of my trip to Hakata, we had a banquet with a Mizutaki course. The soup this time was a golden color, unlike the more opaque one I had before at the same restaurant. The taste was still delicious. We enjoyed tender thigh meat, chicken motsu, tsukune, vegetables, and champon noodles without holding back. By the way, I realized I had never tried Fukuoka's Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) before, so I took the opportunity to visit a restaurant. I'll start with my impression - I wish all Mizutaki in Japan were like this one. The staff cooks the dish in stages, and the soup is incredibly rich and delicious! It's so rich that it's almost too much, but it's so tasty! Yay!! It does get a bit heavy towards the end, but finishing with a kind of rice porridge filled with umami was very satisfying. The photo doesn't do it justice, as there were many other ingredients added later. I'm now curious to try Mizutaki at different restaurants.

Specializing in chicken dishes, this restaurant mainly serves chicken meat. The fried chicken has a juicy and tender inside with a crispy coating, the grilled chicken is served hot on a sizzling iron plate with a crispy texture, the rolled omelette has a rich flavor without being too sweet or too salty, the meatballs are firm and have a meaty texture that goes well with the egg. None of the dishes are greasy, and they are all delicious with a rich umami flavor. Lastly, the hot pot is made with a chicken broth that enhances the flavors of various parts like heart, liver, and bone-in meatballs. The meat is tender and free of any unpleasant smells. I was impressed by how delicious the chicken meat is in Kyushu. With a little alcohol, the cost per person is around 6,000 yen, making it reasonably priced.

It was a water hot pot course with no gaps, from start to finish. I love making hot pot at home, but trying the real deal was exceptional. The way they bring out the umami of the meat through the hot pot method feels like the right way. Also, I discovered a genuine Japanese sake called Tanaka Rokugo here.

I ordered a course that came with a 3500 yen water pot dish and chicken prosciutto. I also added horse sashimi! The horse sashimi was delicious with its tender meat dipped in sweet soy sauce. It was not greasy and had no strong taste, allowing me to enjoy various parts like mane, lean meat, and fatty meat. The water pot dish included bone-in chicken, thigh, chicken meatballs, heart, vegetables, and a choice of porridge, champon, or udon for the finishing touch. Even though I didn't have a reservation, I was guided to a private room where I could relax and enjoy my meal.

"Suikyaki for 3,000 yen. You can choose from champon noodles, udon, or zosui to finish. You can adjust the flavor to your liking, but honestly, having everything done for you at this quality for this price is surprising. You can also enjoy the different tastes and textures of chicken depending on the part. Sesame amberjack: moist, firm flesh with just the right seasoning. The fragrance of sesame is also excellent."

The nearest station is Nakasu Kawabata, about a 5-minute walk away. I made a reservation through Tabelog. I had the Taste Course for 3500 yen, probably plus 10% for service charges. Starting from the chicken soup, salad, palate cleanser, Mizutaki (chicken hot pot), and finishing with rice or noodles, you can enjoy a series of dishes. I have tried various places from traditional to modern in Hakata, but I didn't know there was a main branch near the hotel, so it was my first visit. Nowadays, it's not much different from other restaurants, maybe the difference is the addition of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). They also have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. I also tried the Pudding from Hanamitori, which was good but didn't leave a strong impression. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I tried "sukiyaki" for the first time at a restaurant. It is rich in collagen, which is good for the skin. The broth was delicious and I drank it all up. The appetizer was also very tasty and impressive. The "Amaou" sour was also delicious. I made a reservation to go back.

I used it for a business trip to Fukuoka. The taste is delicious, but the service and customer service are excellent above all. The elegant customer service is perfect for anyone. The timing of checking on the situation is also exquisite. It's not a cheap restaurant, so I can't use it frequently, but I would like to continue using it in the future.

Drinking district ¥100 Parking Next to the building store A taste that makes everyone feel safe and smile. (・∀・) Stability over individuality. It's delicious no matter which store you go to. However, the customer service is not great, and it's the same at every store. The atmosphere of the store is good, but it's a shame. Well, I'll go again (laughs) From beginners to veterans, you can enjoy it! When it comes to Hakata, it's all about Mizutaki, right? ⤴

I visited to eat Mizutaki, and was glad that I could make a web reservation on Tabelog the day before because there are few restaurants open on Sundays and holidays. The Mizutaki was delicious! It's like a chicken white soup with chunks of meat, tsukune (chicken meatballs), liver, heart, vegetables, and tofu in the pot, and you can choose between champon noodles or rice at the end. Everything is prepared by the staff, so you just have to eat and enjoy without any mistakes.

A warm welcome for children visiting from the Kanto region. During the day, we went to a oyster shack, and at night, we enjoyed a classic water hot pot. In Fukuoka, we visited the main branch located in Nakasu, which is relatively well-known. The entrance was impressive, with a reservation leading us to the 3rd floor of the adjacent building where the dining area was located. We ordered the simple water hot pot course (3000 yen) for the group, along with individual drinks. A beer cost 680 yen. The appetizer was pickled cucumber topped with mentaiko. When we mentioned some ingredients we didn't like, they quickly changed it to bonito salad. The waitress set up the pot and poured in the broth, then added salt and green onions. We tasted the broth first before she started cooking the meat, starting with chicken leg meat and then breast meat. She also cooked the liver for us. We added vegetables ourselves. As we enjoyed the meal, we ordered more highballs as the alcohol went well with the food. We also shared two plates of round-shaped fried chicken as an extra. The meal ended with a delicious rice porridge with a rich broth. The pickles included takana, mentaiko, and local specialties. The tables were spacious, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. The attentive service from the waitress made it an ideal place for entertaining guests from out of town.

I visited "Hakata Hanamidori Nakasu Honten" on this day. The restaurant is currently open from 17:00 to 20:00, so I made a reservation for 17:00 in advance through the official website. The interior of the restaurant has a warm and cozy feel with wooden decor. I chose the "Flavor Course (3,500 yen)" for my meal.
[Flavor Course]
- Small dishes: Sashimi with konjac and grilled eggplant. The flavor of kelp is delicious.
- Hanamidori chicken: Raw ham and grilled chicken with yuzu pepper. It tastes great and makes you want to drink alcohol.
- Hanamidori chicken hot pot (assorted cuts, minced meat, slices, liver, vegetable assortment, zosui or champon noodles): The hot pot with assorted chicken cuts is served. The chicken soup with chunks of chicken is delicious. The staff prepares the soup with salt and green onions. Then, various chicken cuts are added to the pot. After enjoying the meat, you are served the soup again. The soup becomes even richer and more flavorful. It's incredibly delicious.
- Finale: Spicy mentaiko with zosui. It's delicious on its own, but you can also enjoy it by adding the ponzu (now turned into chicken soup) and mentaiko & takana. I savored every last drop. It was truly delicious!
Overall, the meal was exquisite. The staff who served us was fantastic, and we had a pleasant time. I noticed they have a branch in Ginza as well, so I would like to visit there next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Blog "Tokyu Line, Foodie Adventures" https://asante.blog/ - I hadn't been on a plane for a long time due to the pandemic, but I finally went on a trip. I stayed in Nakasu this day, and when I mentioned that I wanted to eat "mizutaki" at the hotel, this place was recommended to me. I had been to Hanamidori before, but it was four years ago at the Hanamidori Chukou East Road store in Taipei. I remembered it was delicious there, so I wanted to try it again after seeing this place on TV. I was happy to be able to visit the main store. It was late when we entered the restaurant as our flight was in the evening. We enjoyed our meal at a table on the 3rd floor. Of course, I planned to have the mizutaki as the main dish, but I also ordered chicken sashimi and mentaiko tamagoyaki on a whim before the mizutaki. I enjoyed various chicken dishes. The chicken sashimi was indeed fresh, and each dish allowed us to savor the deliciousness of the chicken itself. And finally, the mizutaki. I didn't really know how to make it, but the staff pretty much did it for us, and we just ate. The soup was delicious, and the mizutaki with hearty chicken meat was undeniably a delicious hot pot. It seems like it would be even more enjoyable in the cold season. Lastly, we received cookies from the chef and took commemorative photos. The service from the staff was pleasant, and we were able to leave the restaurant in a good mood. It's a restaurant that makes you want to go back, and there seems to be one in Tokyo too, so I would like to visit it. Thank you for the meal.

The main store of Hanajidor is located in Nakasu, and they have branches all over the country. They raise their own brand of chicken called "Hanajidor" at 8 chicken farms in Kyushu. The main store is in a large building with a very beautiful interior. We were seated in a private room and enjoyed a leisurely meal. We ordered the following items for two people:
- Hanajidor Mizutaki (boiled chicken hot pot) for 3000 yen each
- Hanajidor raw ham and parent chicken sashimi assorted plate for 1380 yen
- Mizutaki fried chicken for 680 yen
- Fried chicken cartilage for 550 yen
We also ordered some drinks. In conclusion, everything was delicious! I underestimated Hanajidor! The chicken had a strong umami flavor, good texture, and delicious fat content. Each dish had a substantial portion and was carefully prepared. The Mizutaki was made by the staff and was very tasty. The additional dishes we ordered were all great, especially the fried chicken cartilage which was large, fatty, and very satisfying. The Mizutaki fried chicken had a unique and delicious taste, so I highly recommend trying it. I might go back even after returning to Tokyo. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Specializing in Mizutaki using Hakata Hanamidori chicken, this restaurant is located in Nakasu, with the Nakasu Kawabata subway station nearby and within walking distance from Tenjin. It is also conveniently situated near the entertainment district of Nakasu Honmachi. Known for its delicious food and excellent service by the staff, this restaurant has received high ratings overall. Mizutaki courses are available starting from 3,000 yen (tax included). There are also courses available for entertaining clients or business meals, but personally, I recommend going for the cheapest course and adding additional items if desired. During my visit, the course included appetizers, Hanamidori chicken prosciutto, and chicken sashimi before the main Mizutaki dish. For Mizutaki, you start by enjoying the soup with green onions and salt, followed by bone-in chicken meat. Then, you can have minced chicken and liver, with the meal ending with a porridge. There is also an option to have Champon noodles for the finale. I personally enjoy the liver and often ask for seconds. Thank you for the delicious meal!
