I finally visited the restaurant that I had been curious about since before it opened. Looking at the lunch menu, the options included: Omelette Hayashi Rice for 1200 yen, Black Vinegar Chicken Tartare Sauce for 1000 yen, Spiced Dry Curry for 1000 yen, PERTICA Hamburg Steak for 1300 yen, Shrimp Tartare Sauce for 1400 yen, Young Chicken Confit with Yuzu Pepper Japanese Sauce for 1400 yen, and Hayashi Rice for 1000 yen. All dishes come with miso soup, salad, and rice. I was tempted by the popular Omelette Hayashi Rice, but being a fan of hamburg steak, I ordered the PERTICA Hamburg Steak without hesitation! The rice can be upgraded to a larger portion for free. The hamburg steak, though small, was juicy and meaty, and paired well with the elegant demiglace sauce, making it delicious. The salad with homemade dressing was refreshing. The miso soup was flavorful with vegetables. The rice was cooked perfectly and tasty. I appreciated the use of high-quality disposable towels. Personally, I thought it would have been even better if the prices were a bit lower.

It was a cozy little shop with a staircase leading up to the second floor, giving it a hidden gem vibe. I ordered the black vinegar chicken tartare sauce for lunch this time! All the dishes seemed homemade and were delicious, including the sauce! The second floor had private seating, and the dinner menu seemed different from lunch, offering a variety of options for different occasions. Location: 4 minutes walk from Yakuin Station, 233m from Yakuin Station. Business hours: [Wed-Sat, Sun, Holidays] 11:30-14:00, 18:00-22:00 [Tue] 11:30-14:30. Closed on Sundays, closed for dinner on Mondays, open for dinner on Tuesdays.

I was casually walking around when I came across a restaurant with a modest exterior that almost looked like a residential house. It had a cozy, hidden gem vibe to it. At night, the atmosphere was enhanced with sensual indirect lighting, but during lunchtime, the interior was simply clean and beautiful, giving off a new and fresh feel. I tried the Black Vinegar Chicken Tartare Sauce (1000 yen) and the Omelette Hayashi Rice (1200 yen) this time. Both dishes came with miso soup and salad, which made the prices seem quite reasonable for a Western-style restaurant. I highly recommend the Black Vinegar Chicken Tartare Sauce. It was delicious with the perfect balance of tartare richness and black vinegar acidity, bringing out the best in the chicken. The potatoes served on the side were surprisingly tasty as well. Lastly, mixing the pasta and tartare sauce on the plate was a great way to enjoy the dish. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience, savoring each bite like changing flavors in a bento box.

A new Western-style restaurant called "Yakuin Western Food Pertica" opened this month in Yakuin. They serve Western cuisine during the day and specialize in bistros at night. The chef, who trained at a famous Western-style restaurant in Tokyo, prepares the dishes. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with terrace seats and a second floor. I ordered the "Omelette Hayashi Rice" and it arrived in about 5 minutes. The creamy egg and demiglace sauce were delicious with a nostalgic sweetness. The hamburger and shrimp fry also looked appetizing. The terrace seats are pet-friendly, which is a must-see for dog lovers. I would like to visit again for dinner.

Grand opening on March 1, 2023! Pertica, a full-fledged Western-style restaurant where the atmosphere changes between day and night. The Hamburg steak (1300 yen) is packed with the umami of beef and is juicy. The demi-glace sauce is simmered well and goes perfectly with the Hamburg. The potatoes are cut in a unique way, showing attention to detail. The miso soup is gentle with plenty of vegetables. The restaurant itself has many seats, including private rooms, and has a calm atmosphere that would be liked by all ages. Both dishes offer authentic cuisine, so be sure to give it a try!

On February 23, 2023, I visited the restaurant "Yakuin Western Food Peltica," which is scheduled to have its grand opening on March 1st. The restaurant has been serving lunch since last week on the 15th, ahead of its official opening. Located less than 5 minutes from Yakuin Station, the small restaurant surprised me with its cozy atmosphere and the option of seating on the second floor. With a French-trained chef, the menu featured classic Western dishes like omurice, hamburger steak, and hashed beef rice, but I decided to try the confit, a dish not commonly found in Western food restaurants. The confit, slow-cooked in low-temperature oil, was incredibly tender and flavorful. The crispy skin and juicy interior were complemented perfectly by the Japanese-style sauce with yuzu pepper, adding a spicy kick and citrusy aroma.

The other day, I passed by the restaurant and got information about today's lunch opening. I made sure to remember it and came today as planned (if it's crowded, there are plenty of other restaurants around here so I can recover). I just entered the restaurant, and right at the entrance there are 4 counter seats. It seems like there are table seats in the back, but you can't see them well from the counter. There were other customers at the back table seats, so it seems like they have been attracting customers since the opening. (According to the previous information, there are also table seats on the second floor, but I couldn't see where to go up from.) I ordered the Spiced Dry Curry for 1,000 yen. It took a little time since it's the first day, but the dishes were served in order. The presentation is beautiful. The taste is quite authentic and delicious. The burdock fritters are served stylishly. Salad and soup are also included, so for 1,000 yen, it's not bad, but in order to survive the fierce competition in this area, it might be good to have some daily specials for less than 1,000 yen in the future. The taste is very good, so I'm looking forward to it!
