I was actually walking towards another place, but I got distracted by a poster of chicken liver and oysters, so I decided to enter the restaurant on a whim. I placed my order using my phone. It was a bit unfamiliar, but I realized that this way I could take my time and choose carefully. Before I knew it, the raw oysters and raw liver arrived. They were incredibly delicious!! I absolutely loved the raw liver!! As for the oysters, I usually prefer them steamed, but I enjoyed this unique combination.

It's easier to find a crowded place to have tea in Shinsaibashi than a quiet one. I was drawn in by the sign advertising oysters for 200 yen, but they were actually 275 yen (including tax). Still, it's nice to be able to enjoy large, refreshing oysters from Ako at this price. It's a place where you can casually stop by alone even when you're not in the mood for cake and drinks at a cafe.

I went to Izakaya Kitsune where you can enjoy oysters at a good cost performance. I tried the Kaki Kimo (¥1,188), which is a must-order dish, along with the Chicken Karaage (¥638), Potato Salad with Fried Egg (¥528), and Chicken Breast Char Siu (¥638). The Kaki Kimo, made with fresh oysters and liver, topped with grated garlic and sesame oil, was delicious. The menu offers many other tempting dishes, so I plan to revisit and try more. I received a recommendation to visit this restaurant from someone else, and it was my first time here. Since I arrived early, I was the first customer. But soon after, more and more customers started coming in. I was told to try the oysters, so I ordered them without hesitation. They were delicious! And so affordable too! I had a nice chat with the staff as well. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Dinner time at Izakaya Kitsune Honten in Higashi-Shinsaibashi. Three drinking buddies and I visited the restaurant. We used the QR code on the table to order food from our phones, leaving it to our senior to handle while we focused on eating and drinking. We started with a toast - our senior, blood type A, had a red fruit sour with frozen strawberries; Y, blood type B, had a blue fruit sour with berries; and I, blood type O, had an orange fruit sour with mango. Y joked about the B type drink looking so bland in color. For our second round, we tried the AB type drink - a green fruit sour with melon ice cream, tasting like melon soda. We then enjoyed our usual red wine with dishes like fried spring rolls with fish and oysters, oyster and celery ajillo, oyster fry, fresh oysters with lemon and garlic soy sauce, grilled oysters with black pepper vinegar, steamed oysters with salt and sesame oil, and oyster liver with double sesame oil and salt. The oyster dishes were varied and enjoyable, with options like raw, steamed, and grilled oysters with different flavors. We also had fried potato salad with half-cooked egg, sashimi of horse mackerel with crispy skin, and drooling chicken with plenty of cilantro - all ordered by our senior. We were all full by the end of the meal. Thank you for the feast!

A restaurant that focuses on oysters and chicken. I saw it on Instagram and was interested, so I wanted to visit when I came to Osaka! I went near closing time, so luckily there was a seat available, but it's quite a popular place so I recommend making a reservation before going. The unique oyster dishes, such as combining raw oysters with raw liver, are plentiful and interesting! This time was my second stop, so I ordered a little less, but the oyster liver here is a must-try! The raw liver, seasoned with sesame oil and salt, coated with oyster essence, is amazing whether eaten separately or together with the oyster. Garlic is optional. The seared oyster wrapped in beef and the oyster wing dumplings are also delicious with the rich sauce, bursting with flavor. There are plenty of oyster dishes, so oyster lovers should definitely visit this restaurant! Fresh oysters and chicken meat at a clean and lovely restaurant. You can enjoy fresh oysters here! Ordered items: - Oyster liver ¥1078 - Fresh oyster ¥220/each - Oyster and chicken wing dumplings ¥680/2 pieces. It was my first time trying oyster liver! The combination of oysters and chicken meat is not common, but it was delicious. I heard they also have a branch in Horie. Thank you for the meal!

The food was delicious overall and the cost performance was good. However, I felt a bit unsatisfied with the service, speed of service, and atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm not a fan of using QR codes for smartphone orders at izakayas. Although there are many advantages such as reducing order mistakes and the workload of the staff, I can't help but think it may be inconvenient for people who are not good with smartphones or have poor eyesight like my elderly mother. I initially made a reservation to enjoy oysters, but changed my mind and decided to eat heartily at a second location. I had the Oyster Liver (980 yen), Fresh Oysters (200 yen each), Oyster Wing Dumplings (580 yen for 2), and Chicken Breast with White Peach, Nuts, and Cream Cheese (580 yen). The Oyster Liver and Fresh Oysters were not cold, which I personally prefer. The Oyster Wing Dumplings were filled with plenty of oysters, and the Chicken Breast dish with Cream Cheese, Nuts, and White Peach left a lasting impression. I enjoyed the combination of rich cream cheese, crunchy nuts, and sweet canned white peach.

If you love oysters, you absolutely must visit this restaurant! They offer oysters in various flavors and cooking styles, not just raw. The oysters are large and plump, and once you try the oyster liver, you'll be hooked. The restaurant allows smoking and the staff are friendly and fun. It's one of my favorite places to eat!

This is a must-visit restaurant for people who love seafood!!! I was so happy because I could eat raw meat, oysters, and sashimi, which I love. The one in the last photo, wrapped in seaweed, was incredibly delicious!! I ordered another set for a repeat because it was so good.

I've been wanting to go for a while, and finally made it there ✨ #MustTryMenu Kakikimo (oyster liver) for 1,078 yen. Fresh oysters and live liver seasoned with salt and sesame oil, a simple yet amazing dish! It was incredibly delicious! Both were fresh and without any fishy smell, a perfect dish to go with alcohol ☺️ By the way, the double liver option is 1,408 yen. They also have dishes like oyster and chicken, oyster wing dumplings, and wasabi pickled oyster with chicken tenderloin, all looking incredibly delicious! Live oysters for 220 yen each, plump and very large!! They are from Akou, Hyogo Prefecture, and can be enjoyed fresh all year round! It's a stylish izakaya. I went there because you can eat fresh oysters for 200 yen! It was true haha. You could choose between ponzu sauce, lemon, and maple leaf. The oysters weren't that big, but they were milky and delicious! I had three oysters by myself. Unfortunately, I was driving so I couldn't drink... I want to drink next time. Oyster ramen was also delicious. However, the soup was a bit bland, maybe to highlight the oysters? Personally, I wanted a bit more flavor! I'll come back from Kanto again! Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. The sauce and ponzu were also great.

I went to Shinsaibashi for the first time in a while. The streets were quiet and lonely. I looked up oyster dishes and ordered from the top of the food menu. ▶Restaurant Review Hello! This is Keinsuke. Today, I would like to introduce a oyster restaurant called "Izakaya Kitsune" in Shinsaibashi. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station. The bar is nicely lit and has a good atmosphere. I wonder if the "Ki" in the name refers to the fox's key... The interior has table and counter seats. Even on a weekday night, it was quite lively after the state of emergency was lifted. The simple and uncluttered sign and design create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. I was seated at the counter. It's a welcoming atmosphere even for solo customers. The menu mainly focuses on oysters, with a variety of other dishes available. And the best part is, if you arrive before 7:00 PM, you can enjoy the Happy Oyster Hour with 2 pieces of fresh oysters for only 500 yen. ▶A la carte (from 4000 yen per person) - 2 Fresh Oysters (780 yen) Unfortunately, I missed the Happy Oyster Hour as it was past 7:00 PM. The oysters were large and had a nice texture, bursting with the taste of the sea. You can enjoy them with lemon, garlic soy sauce, basil, wasabi soy sauce, or grated ponzu. I tried them with grated ponzu, and it was light and delicious. - Oyster Fry (1180 yen) 6 large oyster fries. Be careful as they are piping hot. Shinsaibashi "Izakaya Kitsune" On this day, I really felt like eating oysters, so I went to "Izakaya Kitsune" in Shinsaibashi. A fellow blogger recommended this place to me. It's a casual restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a quick drink. It can also be used as a bar. They have a great selection of craft gins, with about 20 different types to choose from. All carefully selected to pair well with shellfish. It's a tough choice. By the way, gin has detoxifying effects and makes it less likely to get a hangover the next day. In other words, you can enjoy drinking without worrying about tomorrow. It also complements the food well without overpowering it. I had a Fresh Fruit Sour (Kyoho Grape and Kiwi) for 800 yen. For those who aren't fond of gin, they also have fruit sours with a gin base. Oysters in the shell (raw) for 780 yen with lemon. I immediately went for the oysters! You can choose between raw, steamed, or grilled oysters. Raw is the best. The beautifully sized Ako oysters are impressive. They melt in your mouth like ocean milk! You can choose from 11 different seasonings, but simple lemon is delicious. Oysters in the shell (steamed) for 780 yen with grated radish. Steaming lightly brings out a subtle seaweed aroma. I went for a solo drink at "Izakaya Kitsune" in Shinsaibashi. They have spacious table seats and a calming counter seat area, with a younger crowd so no awkwardness for a solo female customer (lol). - Otoshi (350 yen): The homemade tofu was very bouncy and silky, super delicious! - Ichiban Shibori beer (550 yen): The beer was ice-cold, with creamy foam, I chugged it down in one go! - Grilled oysters x2 (780 yen): During Happy Hour (4:30-7:00 pm), 2 oysters for 780 yen are only 500 yen, a must-try! You can choose between raw, grilled, or steamed oysters. I went for the steamed with seared cheese and ketchup. The seared cheese and ketchup surprisingly went really well together, like gratin! The Akō oysters were plump and creamy. - Oyster omelette (1408 yen): An omelette with oysters and salmon roe, the omelette was so flavorful with oyster broth! - Shrimp mayo (858 yen): Crispy fried shrimp with a lightly sweet and refreshing sauce. - Avocado cream cheese soy sauce mix (638 yen): A wasabi soy sauce flavored avocado dip, perfect for drinking! I didn't try it this time, but the clam ramen with clam broth is also recommended! If you feel like having a drink alone, this is the place to go. I had three beers and got a nice buzz (lol).
