I stopped by after a photo shoot in Shinsaibashi. It was a Saturday, but I was able to get a private room without a reservation! The atmosphere was relaxing with dim lighting. The restaurant is located downstairs in the building. You take off your shoes and store them in a shoe box. The serving plates were lovely ceramic dishes with the restaurant's logo "車" on them. The dishes were all made with fresh local chicken ♡ It's a reasonably priced place with a great atmosphere in Shinsaibashi! My recommendation is the "Local Chicken Set"!! ▷Local Chicken MIX Charcoal Grilled (¥1,300) ▷Local Chicken Chicken Nanban (¥880) ▷Local Chicken Chicken Tataki (¥980) These 3 dishes were ¥3,160, but discounted to ¥2,800 ♡ The Chicken Tataki was especially delicious with plenty of green onions and no strong taste ♡ The skewers come in sets of 2, but you can also order just 1. ▶Negima ¥230 x 4 Ordered extra because I love green onions ♡ ▶Seseri ¥180 x 2 ▶Sunazuri ¥180 x 2 ▶Local Chicken Chicken Tsukune ¥280 x 2 Soft and juicy!! ▶Grilled Shiitake Mushroom ¥500 ▶Chicken Tempura ¥700 ▶Homemade Tofu ¥550 ▶Tamagoyaki ¥550 ▶Pickled Water Eggplant ¥500 ▶Crispy Long Potato Pickles ¥480 ▶Yakitori Donburi ¥1,000 *Ginger Highball ¥480 *Shandy Gaff ¥500

When we met up, we had a bit of confusion about whether to meet at the elevator side or the staircase side. Please make sure to confirm which side to meet on. The sashimi and grilled dishes were delicious! It would be nice if they served cold soup towards the end since the dishes came out in a random order.

It's been a while since the bird flu, so this visit felt like a long time coming. The chicken itself is in short supply, and the main dish of Kagura chicken charcoal-grilled was only available with breast meat instead of thigh meat. Well, even with breast meat, it was tender and flavorful so it was still good... I hope thigh meat becomes more readily available soon. Apart from the shortage of chicken meat and the high cost of eggs, they provided a stable and delicious meal (^^).

Subway Midosuji Line Shinsaibashi Station Exit 2, 1 minute walk underground. Take the stairs down to the subway Chuo Line Tsurumi Ryokuchi Line Shinsaibashi Station Exit 2, 1 minute walk underground. When you enter the shop, it is lively and the interior is full. We had a group gathering and used a course menu. The dishes that came out were all delicious. Those who like strong flavors may be happy too!! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Chicken dishes restaurant, the biggest hit here! A classmate from my student days recommended it to me, saying they used to work part-time there, so I had been curious about it for a long time but never had the chance to go... Luckily, I finally got to visit this time. The restaurant is located underground, where you take off your shoes and it has a casual izakaya style. The counter has a lively atmosphere with a live kitchen. They offer a variety of dishes using local chicken, and the chicken sashimi is absolutely delicious, so be sure to try it. Since they use fresh chicken meat, it's a must-try. Other menu items are a bit on the high-end side for an izakaya, with dishes like avocado-based dishes and soft tofu, which are sure to please female customers. Particularly recommended is their ramen as a finishing touch. It's light yet flavorful, with a rich broth and a satisfying noodle texture. It's just right, not too heavy like street stalls or ramen specialty shops. Note that the closing time may vary by day, but it tends to be on the earlier side in this area, so be mindful of that. This may indicate a good clientele.

This week's holiday drink was at Car-san, which we haven't been to in a while. My wife is undergoing dental treatment and can't eat hard foods, so we chose only soft dishes. We had liver simmered in soy sauce, grilled back liver (not shown in the photo), freshly made tofu, and surprisingly tender chicken nanban. It was really soft and delicious. As for the grilled Kagurajidori chicken, there were some slightly tough parts, so I ended up enjoying most of it. ♩

Today's mood is "yakitori," specifically yakitori served on a hot plate. I decided to go to Miyazaki Jitokitoriya for that. I started with grilled chicken liver, then had grilled chicken breast, chicken avocado, and grilled chicken offal before calling it a night. Personally, I wish they would bring back the grilled chicken thigh from Kagura Jitokitoriya. The grilled chicken thigh from the parent chicken is a bit tough, which might be difficult for those with sensitive teeth.

The restaurant was lively and full of energy, especially on Saturday night. Even though there were no available seats, they managed to find a spot for our group of three. The grilled chicken skewers looked tough and charred, but they were surprisingly flavorful and tender. The chicken tenderloin skewers with wasabi were soft and delicious.

After shopping, I happened to come across a restaurant on my way to another place. I felt like having yakitori, and this place turned out to be a great find - it specialized in delicious Miyazaki Jidori chicken. The atmosphere was nice and the interior was spacious. It was relaxing to sit at the counter, watching the Jidori chicken being grilled over charcoal while enjoying a drink. The age group around seemed to be on the older side. Overall, it was a great experience to unwind and savor the tasty Jidori chicken.

I have been using this restaurant many times since I found it. It is so delicious that I want to visit it over and over again. It is the best chicken thigh charcoal grill I have ever eaten! I will definitely order it when I visit the restaurant! I visited at night this time, but I also recommend the lunch time. Lunch is cheap at 1000 yen, and all the menu items are delicious! They have chicken thigh charcoal grill, oyakodon, and more. You will be satisfied with the lunch menu. The lunch menu seems to be popular too. This time, since it was the end of the year, I tried the hot pot course for the first time. The appetizer tofu was delicious, and the hot pot was delicious too. Although it was not included in the course, I also ordered the chicken thigh charcoal grill separately...♡ They also have seasonal items. This time, I ordered roasted ginkgo nuts. It's nice to have seasonal items. Even though I can only visit occasionally, the person in charge of the grill station remembered me, which made me very happy, and I definitely want to go back again. Everyone, please come and try the chicken thigh charcoal grill!

I introduced this place to a friend who declared that they would be very satisfied with a year-end party with work-related friends for 5,000 yen. With all-you-can-drink included for only 5,000 yen, I am a fan of muscle training, so I can get my protein from chicken, not just yakitori, but also chicken sashimi and chicken yukhoe are available here. This place is perfect! The atmosphere is also nice, with a friendly clientele. There was a funny scene where two young male couples arrived at the toilet at the same time and had to take turns. The appetizer plate with 3 types of dishes includes chicken sashimi, grilled parent chicken, and tsukune, followed by chicken nanban tartare. It's also nice to have chicken and egg rice bowl occasionally. Most of it was eaten by my friends, but he drank a lot with the all-you-can-drink and also ate a parent-child bowl and dessert outside of the course! The course also includes porridge, and even I, a 172cm, 75kg muscular guy, was stuffed. I've had the parent-child bowl before on a previous visit, and it's also delicious. My friend said they will have their company's year-end party here.

Recently, due to the impact of the coronavirus, I have been dining out less at night. I almost forgot about visiting Kurasan for some yakitori. But when I started craving yakitori, I remembered about Kurasan and paid a visit. If I don't go often, the expiration date of the bottle might expire. Here in the area around Shinsaibashi, they let you keep a 900ml bottle of Kuro Kirishima shochu for only 3,000 yen. (I wonder if you can keep it for the same price at the Tokyo store since it's an online keep?) However, the disappointing thing in the past few visits is that the Kaguraji Jidori chicken thigh charcoal-grilled, which was supposed to be on the menu, has disappeared. There is the breast charcoal-grilled, but I prefer the thigh... The chicken and egg rice bowl also seems to have less volume compared to the menu photos. It would be better if they added a bit more volume. Despite these things, I still plan to go again before the end of the year.

I went to Miyazaki Jidori Charcoal Grill Car in Shinsaibashi on October 26, 2022. First, I had a refreshing draft beer. The chicken sashimi platter had a nice chew to it. The grilled Miyazaki chicken thigh also had a good texture. The homemade tofu salad was delicious. The round tsukune with green onions was also tasty. The seared seseri with grated daikon and ponzu sauce was so good. The asparagus was a safe bet. The chicken and avocado with wasabi soy sauce was a nice combination. I enjoyed a few glasses of Premium Malt beer and then switched to a Hibiki highball. The chicken skewers were rare and tasty. After a few glasses of Hibiki, I had a Hakushu highball. Since I have an early day tomorrow, I called it a night here. Thank you for the meal!

So, I visited Miyazaki Jitadori-guruma after a long time. It had been almost 3 months since my last visit, and I noticed that the menu had changed. I wonder why the Kagura Jitadori thigh charcoal-grilled dish was no longer available? I ended up ordering the parent bird thigh charcoal-grilled dish, but the Kagura Jitadori one was definitely tastier. Also, there was a new menu item called "Chicken Yukke," so I tried that. It's richer compared to Tataki, so it depends on personal preference. I also ordered tofu and Tataki, which were consistently delicious. However, it was disappointing to see that the grilled chicken rice bowl was no longer available for takeout. I hope they bring back the Kagura Jitadori thigh charcoal-grilled dish and the grilled chicken rice bowl for takeout. (´;ω;`)

Sometimes I visit this restaurant and the food is consistently delicious. Whatever I order, it always tastes great. However, today I have to mention something difficult. The portion size of the parent and child bowl for the closing dish has been reduced to less than half for the same price. When the dish was served with a lid on, the portion seemed so small that I thought maybe they started including soup with it. The taste is still delicious, but I was expecting the previous portion size when I ordered, so I hesitated to order more... Yet my stomach was left somewhat unsatisfied. With prices increasing in today's world, I wouldn't mind paying more if they could maintain the portion size. (Tears)

I visited Miyazaki Jidori Kuruma for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, two of the staff members were absent, so the remaining ones were very busy running around, but the taste of the food was consistently good as always. I ordered my usual dishes, the cucumber tataki, liver stew, and Kaguratori thigh charcoal-grilled, and also tried the chicken nanban after a long time. I was suffering from severe hay fever that day, so I didn't have much appetite and couldn't have the closure dish. I hope to try the hiyajiru next time.

Visited on a weekday at 19:30 at the start of the year, with no waiting time for a seat. However, the restaurant was completely overwhelmed on this day. I was too focused on catching up with the Uber that I didn't explore the restaurant much. Some dishes seemed to be running out, and I wonder how it would be on a calmer day. The dashimaki was delicious as expected.

Miyazaki Jidori Kuruma-san is a place I've been relying on quite a bit but haven't posted about at all (lol). I was so relaxed using it for everyday meals that I even forgot about posting on Tabelog. It's a well-known restaurant. They had to suspend operations for quite a long time due to the pandemic, but it's been good to see more and more customers returning since they reopened. The other day, there were quite a few customers, giving off a feeling of "forgetting about the pandemic." It's nice to see one's favorite restaurant thriving. In terms of taste, it may be rude to compare it to high-end restaurants that use top-notch chicken in Shinsaibashi, but Kuruma-san is known for its reasonably priced bottle-keep shochu (important for drinkers) and delicious Kagura chicken from their own farm. I think this place excels in the balance between taste and price. The chicken ramen, hiyajiru, oyakodon, and more are all good choices. But I also want to have their hot pot this year.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch by making a reservation through go to. It is located near Shinsaibashi Station, and you have to go downstairs to enter. The atmosphere is like a hidden gem. I sat at the counter seat and ordered the Momochan charcoal-grilled set meal for 1100 yen. It came with salad, chicken sashimi, small side dish (cold tofu), rice, miso soup, and pickles. The Momochan charcoal-grilled dish arrived a bit late. The chicken sashimi was quite delicious. The charcoal-grilled dish had a sizzling sound and appetizing aroma. It was quite flavorful. Adding yuzu pepper as a condiment gave it an extra kick, but it made the flavor even stronger and a bit overpowering. The rice was a bit too moist and sticky, which was disappointing. So far, the best Momochan charcoal-grilled dish I've had in Osaka was at a restaurant in Dotonbori. The relaxed and cozy atmosphere of this place is nice.

◎Osaka Minami Shinsaibashi Night Yakitori Drinking◎ For a night of drinking and yakitori, we headed to "Sha Shinsaibashi Store," specializing in Miyazaki Jidori charcoal-grilled chicken. With over 10 locations in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, this underground restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro. The spacious restaurant offers a variety of seating options including counter seats, table seats, and sunken kotatsu seats, with a total of around 100 seats including private rooms. We enjoyed Miyazaki Jidori thigh charcoal-grilled skewers, Chicken Nanban, Tataki, Chicken Soba, and more on this visit. Among the Miyazaki Jidori offerings, the "Kagura Tori" original brand at Sha is particularly delicious, with rich chicken flavor. The chic and stylish interior makes it a great spot for a date or casual drinking session, offering a convenient and tasty experience of Miyazaki Jidori charcoal-grilled chicken. #2020MemorableDiningExperiences #OsakaMinami #OsakaMetroShinsaibashiStation #MiyazakiJidoriCharcoalGrilledChicken #KaguraTori #StylishSpace

I went to a yakitori restaurant with a reservation on Friday at 6:30 pm! It's a clean chain restaurant that has been around for a long time. I had never been there before, so I was secretly happy about it. It seems like this is a restaurant where reservations are a must. Despite the current situation, it was almost full! We ordered a la carte dishes instead of the course menu on this day. The chicken sashimi and yakitori were all delicious, but it seemed like the course menu would have been a better value. They also offer all-you-can-drink options! The most delicious dish was the chicken liver. It was so good that I would want to order it again even with the course menu. The selection of sake and shochu was limited. I wish they had a wider variety. The restaurant is clean and appeals to people of all ages and genders. Just be aware that you have to take off your shoes, especially for women (laughs). It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!
