The Half Mix Set Meal included pork fillet, small shrimp, and shrimp cream croquette with rice, miso soup, and pickles. When the dish arrived, I was surprised by the size. It was huge! The pork fillet was tender with plenty of demiglace sauce, and the shrimp cream croquette was creamy and flavorful. The salad with plenty of cabbage and a light Japanese dressing was a refreshing palate cleanser. The miso soup with trefoil and pickled vegetables were also delicious. The main attraction, the large shrimp fry, was crispy and substantial. Dipping it in tartar sauce was a delight. I finished every last bite, even though I regretted ordering extra rice due to the generous portions. Overall, the tonkatsu was excellent, and the large shrimp fry and creamy croquette were also satisfying. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for solo diners to enjoy a variety of delicious Western-style dishes. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the large shrimp fry that I was aiming for. The shrimp fry that I got instead was huge like a lobster and incredibly delicious. You can eat everything from the head to the tail. The demiglace sauce with the tonkatsu was great! I also tried it with mustard, but the demiglace was the best. The cabbage was plentiful and paired perfectly with the rice. The hamburger was tender and the soup was delicious. I used it for dinner. I had been to Hiroki's other store once, so I was confident in the taste. When I arrived, it was just full, but I waited for a while outside and was soon seated. I had heard that the hamburgers were delicious, so this time I ordered a set with tonkatsu. Other people were also ordering hamburgers here and there. Since I had a seat where I could see the cooking scene well, I was watching them skillfully finish the hamburgers (lol). The Half Mix Set Meal has an incredible impact the moment it arrives. First, the size of the shrimp fry is so huge that it completely blows you away. A super giant shrimp that is so big that if you were face to face with it while alive, you would probably lose. The shrimp fry perfectly embodies the concept that size equals deliciousness. But truly, the succulent and flavorful shrimp is packed full of deliciousness. And the tenderloin cutlet is also irresistible. When you put your chopsticks in, the meat just falls apart like a top-quality tenderloin cutlet should. The incredible flavor typical of tenderloin is also packed in, and the taste of the cutlet alone is beyond amazing. But then, to have plenty of demi-glace sauce poured over it is almost a heinous act. However, this also opens the door to a new world and it was incredibly delicious. The demi-glace, which is not too heavy, is just irresistible. The most impactful part might be the cream croquette. First of all, the cream flavor is rich and strong, making it a cream croquette that makes you want to eat more rice. At this point, it's already surprising. But then, to have shrimp and other ingredients in the cream, it's so luxurious that it completely knocks you out. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever encounter a cream croquette that surpasses this in my life. The miso soup, a classic with a nice lemony accent, is also irresistible. I can't talk about the flavor of the pork cutlet since it's eaten with demi sauce, but for this price range, it's quite high quality, isn't it? It's been a while since I last visited. The taste was consistent and truly delicious, as expected from Hiroki. I had the usual hire (pork fillet) tonkatsu set meal. The meat was so tender and the sweetness it brought out, along with that melt-in-your-mouth fat, was just amazing.

I arrived. Usually it's crowded at Baba, but I was able to get in quickly because it was raining. (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))♡ The shrimp had increased in price, but they only had large or extra large, so I went with extra large. They were quite thick. The shrimp fry was served on a large plate, the cream croquette had a homemade feel, and the hirekatsu was tender and delicious. Even though I only visit this restaurant when I come to Tokuan Station, and it's a bit of a walk from the station, it's definitely a place I would want to visit regularly.

I visited around 12:40 and was able to sit down smoothly without waiting and enjoyed my meal at a leisurely pace. The chewy white rice was good.

Even though there are many items on the menu, I always end up choosing this. The taste is consistently delicious, and the satisfaction and cost performance are unmatched. My husband ordered the Hamburg and Ebi Fry with extra rice for ¥1,550 + ¥50. The Ebi Fry looked very large and appetizing! As someone allergic to shrimp, I have decided that when I can eat shrimp again, this will be the first place I visit. The restaurant is also located in other areas like Tokuan Main Store, Osaka (Noe, Shigi, Urahara), Kyoto, and Kobe. I ordered the Pork Loin Cutlet & Large Shrimp Fry Set for ¥1600. When the dishes were brought to the table, the impact was amazing! I was surprised by the size of the large shrimp fry, which was thick and heavy. The beautiful pork loin cutlet was also thick and looked delicious. The set came with rice, miso soup, and cabbage, making it a luxurious meal. I ordered the Top Sirloin Katsu (1,050 yen). It took about 20 minutes to be served, probably because it was dinner time and a bit crowded. The Top Sirloin Katsu was served with one side covered in Demi-glace sauce. The breading was thick and slightly coarse. The oil felt light. The meat had been pounded out but still didn't look like 150g. It was cooked well and slightly firm. The meat had some fat on it, and with each bite, the rich flavor of the meat came through strongly. The only way to eat it was with the Demi-glace sauce. The sauce had some acidity but not much bitterness. The sauce's richness was a bit weak, but it harmonized nicely with the flavorful meat. The cabbage, rice, and miso soup were average. The price and portion size don't match at all, but is it okay...?! The tonkatsu had a traditional taste, like a tonkatsu set meal, it was tender and the tonkatsu was thinly sliced, giving it a sauce-katsu-don-like feel. It came with a sweet demi-glace-like sauce already poured on top. The miso soup had a nice accent of large leaves, maybe shiso? I was very hungry when I rushed in, but I left feeling extremely full!! A friend recommended Hiroki-san, so I put it into the navigation system and finally found it after a bit of wandering. They had a parking lot where I could park my car. I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. The shrimp fry was so satisfying and filling. The cost performance was really good. It seems like they have recently expanded as a franchise, but I'm glad I got to eat at the original store. I will definitely try out the other franchise locations as well, considering the price and taste.

However, sometimes there is unnecessary batter or the final product is not up to par. They are currently only open for dinner due to COVID-19, and it was not crowded today. They are open until 9 pm, so going around 8 pm or later is recommended. The large shrimp tend to sell out quickly, especially the large and extra-large sizes, so it's best to arrive before 6 pm. This time I had a medium-sized shrimp, which was plump and satisfying to eat.
