Twenty years ago, I had a heavy drinking session with colleagues who used to sit together at the same desk. Every year, we go on a two-night, three-day camping trip to Kumiham in what we call our "summer training". Two years ago, we couldn't go due to the young secretary's schedule, and this year, we couldn't go due to the bad virus that is spreading worldwide. We set up a tarp in the scorching sun, drank ice-cold beer, and enjoyed playing mahjong on the beach. It's a foolish act, but that's what these guys are hooked on. The youngest member, who loves camping, asked, "Shall we go to the mountains in late September?" without inviting all the summer training members, planning to gather with the minimum number of people. We held a meeting under the guise of a drinking party. When we drink in Umeda, there's always someone who says, "I want to eat sushi!" so this time we chose Fukushima as a new territory. We decided to meet this morning, so we had to quickly decide on a place. We had already decided to go to a wine bar for the second place, so for the first place, we decided to drink beer with gyoza. As usual, the one who suggested it didn't arrive on time. While two of us were drinking gyoza and yakisoba, everyone arrived 40 minutes late. We ordered gyoza and large draft beer for the latecomer. To have something more in our stomachs, we added fried vermicelli to the order. A colleague who loves gyoza said, "The size of the gyoza is different between Osaka Ohsho and Gyoza Ohsho." He says the ones at Kyoto Ohsho are bigger, but you can't tell the difference without comparing them side by side. Personally, I like the gyoza here because they are more crispy from being grilled. The skin is crispy, and the texture is good. The filling inside is relatively large, so it's satisfying to eat. I eat the gyoza with only the gyoza sauce without adding chili oil. After that, I refresh my mouth with beer, that's how I enjoy gyoza and beer. It's a stable-priced casual Chinese restaurant. At Osaka Ohsho, I'm aiming to try the cold noodles and mini Tenshin rice served during lunchtime. I haven't had it yet, but I hope to try it this summer.
