I went to a new restaurant called Tanra near Higashi-Sangoku Station, which has changed to a tsukemen and water dumplings shop. It is a branch of the Ryusho restaurant near Higashi-Yodogawa Station. This new shop seems to focus on both tsukemen and water dumplings. The interior of the shop has only a counter with seating for about 7-8 people. It is mostly run by one staff member. I ordered the basic pork tsukemen for 1000 yen from the ticket machine, which came with 3 water dumplings. When I visited, they offered a free large serving. After waiting for about 6 minutes, my order arrived. The taste is similar to Ryusho, with thick noodles in a fish and pork bone broth. However, I found the soup here to be much richer. Also, they have self-serve onions. The thick soup and homemade thick noodles provide a satisfying meal. The water dumplings are filled with juicy meat, and you have to eat them in one bite to avoid the juices spilling out. They were also delicious.

- Pork Tsukemen 1000 yen・Osaka, 2 minutes walk from Higashi-Mikuni Station, a popular shop in the neighborhood, a tsukemen specialty shop affiliated with "Menya Ryusho".・Dipping sauce: Soy sauce soup based on pork and seafood.・The noodles are homemade, thick and with ridges like udon, made with high water content.・Ingredients include 4 blocks of chashu, menma, 2 types of chopped green onions, and fish powder on top of roasted seaweed. Comes with 3 water dumplings as a default.・You can choose between free noodle upsizing or flavored egg, and I chose noodle upsizing.・There is pickled chopped onions in vinegar available for free on the counter.・There are only 9 seats at the counter inside the shop.Visited this place for the first time on August 1, 2023. I thought that the various tsukemen dishes priced at 1000 yen each were a bit expensive, but considering that noodle upsizing is free and it even comes with water dumplings, it is actually a good deal. These water dumplings have a chewy texture and a juicy filling, very delicious! As for the tsukemen, while the dipping sauce may be typical, the thick noodles made with high water content are delicious! I finished the upsized portion in no time. Being affiliated with Ryusho, the quality of this bowl was top-notch. Thank you for the meal!

Pork tsukemen for 1,000 yen until the end of August. I got a free boiled egg as a service. The soup is the usual type with onions you can add as much as you want. The chashu is chunky and good. The noodles are thick and typical. The water dumplings are average. They tend to cool down quickly. The staff seem motivated, but the restaurant still feels like a work in progress.

Just before heading to Higashi-Sangoku Station, I discovered a ramen shop that had just opened in August. They were offering free extra noodles, rice, or seasoned egg toppings throughout August 2023! While Takusho promotes finishing the soup for its health benefits, this place actually focuses on the noodles and water dumplings. I decided to try their special dish, the Ebi Tsukemen, which had a slightly strong flavor at first. However, when I mixed in the free onion toppings provided on the table, the sweetness and moisture of the onions balanced out the taste perfectly! It was delicious! The hot water dumplings that came with the noodles were not too hot and oozed with juicy meat when you took a bite. I recommend eating them in one bite to avoid splattering the juice everywhere. The staff efficiently took orders and showed great attention to customers. The store is air-conditioned, but the large fan inside may not suit everyone's preference. However, I believe it's a thoughtful touch to ensure the kitchen area stays cool. If you have long hair, it's best to tie it up when dining there. I definitely want to go back before August ends for the great deals, but I'm already undecided on what to order next! I've tried all the Tsukemen options at Takusho, so I might go for the most delicious pork Tsukemen or perhaps try the chicken Tsukemen that I haven't had before. I highly recommend trying their Tsukemen here instead of ramen!

Visited the new tsukemen restaurant "Boku no Ikiru Michi" near Higashi-Mikuni Station, which opened on August 1, 2023. It seems to be related to the "Ryusho" series. I have not been to the main store in Higashi-Yodogawa, but I have enjoyed delicious bowls at Chinese Dining Ryusho and Tsukemen R&S many times. The menu at Boku no Ikiru Michi includes pork tsukemen, chicken tsukemen, sweet and spicy tsukemen, shrimp tsukemen, special tsukemen, and egg topping. In addition, a serving of 3 Ryusho water dumplings comes with the noodles. Furthermore, in August 2023, for the grand opening, you can choose a free topping of egg, extra noodles, or rice. I purchased a ticket for the sweet and spicy tsukemen. For the service, I chose the egg topping. The 300g portion of sweet and spicy tsukemen is generously sized. The homemade noodles have a strong wheat flavor, a delightful aroma, and a chewy texture from the high water content. The dipping broth is a rich blend of pork bone, seafood, and soy sauce flavors, with a dangerously delicious combination of sweetness and spiciness. The spicy kick accentuates the savory sweetness of the base even more. The noodles pair perfectly with the broth. Delicious. The toppings include plenty of green onions, bamboo shoots, and well-textured diced chashu pork. The condiment for flavor variation, onion vinegar, adds a refreshing touch while enhancing the sweet and spicy flavors. Delicious. As a bonus, the complimentary water dumplings are amazing. The elasticity of the dumpling skin is superb, and the filling, especially the pork, is delicious. I enjoy them with black vinegar. Except for the egg topping, the prices are in the four-digit range, but considering the quality and quantity, Boku no Ikiru Michi offers good value for money. Thank you for the delicious meal.

"I visited 'Boku no Ikiru Michi,' which opened on August 1st, and tried their 'Tonkotsu Tsukemen (1000 yen).' This restaurant is a branch of 'Menya Ryusho' located in front of Higashi-Yodogawa Station, with the nearest station being Osaka Metro Higashi-Mikuni Station. The menu includes: Tonkotsu Tsukemen - 1000 yen Special Tsukemen - 1380 yen Chicken Tsukemen - 1000 yen Sweet and Spicy Tsukemen - 1080 yen Shrimp Tsukemen - 1080 yen Egg Over Rice - 880 yen Half-boiled Flavored Egg - +100 yen Spicy Bamboo Shoots - +150 yen Char Siu - +300 yen Extra Noodles - +150 yen. The dipping sauce is made from a blend of pork bone and seafood broth, with a slightly thick soy sauce base that is well-rounded without any sharp edges. It has a rich and creamy flavor with a good balance of umami, acidity, and sweetness. The noodles are handcrafted in-house using a blend of flours, resulting in a straight and thick noodle with a chewy texture and firmness. The small pieces of char siu in the dipping sauce are tender and well-seasoned. Water dumplings (3 pieces) are served for free. You can also customize the flavor with pepper, chili oil, and chopped onions on the table. As a grand opening promotion, until the end of August, you can choose between free extra noodles, flavored egg, or rice."

In 2023, New Store Development Record Part 169 Ramen Showdown Part 1 ~ Part 198 Opening on January 1st "My Way of Living" (Osaka, Higashi-Mikuni) When you hear "My Way of Living" at a ramen shop, you might think of "My Way of Living Shirayama" (Tokyo, Shirayama) owned by Kobayashi Kota, a former professional baseball player and husband of Kataoka Yasuyoshi. In 2016, he opened "YumeWoKatareTokyo," which eventually changed its name to "My Way of Living" with the premise of independence after a certain period of time. It reminds me of that. The music playing in the shop is not SMAP's version of "Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana," but the version sung by Keisuke Kuwata. Does this mean that they borrowed the title from the drama "My Way of Living"? I ordered the tsukemen, chicken tsuke, large size for 1000 yen, and it came with 3 Takasho water dumplings.

Tonkotsu Tsukemen (Pork Bone + Seafood 1000 yen) ★★★☆ The soup is a seafood soy sauce flavor based on pork bone. The noodles are slightly wavy thick straight noodles. The toppings include sliced pork belly chashu, chopped white onions, menma (bamboo shoots), nori (seaweed), fish powder, and seasoned egg. This restaurant is a branch of "Menya Ryusho" located in Higashi Yodogawa, and it opened on August 1st near Osaka Metro Higashi-Mikuni Station. I visited the place early based on information from Makino-san. The soup is made by blending pork bone and seafood broth with a moderate amount of oil, and adding a rounded soy sauce seasoning for a sweet flavor. It has a rich and creamy taste with a balanced mix of pork bone and seafood broth. The noodles are handmade using a blend of Yumechikara flour, giving them a chewy texture with a nice bounce and a glossy surface, rich in wheat flavor. The small but thick chashu slices are delicious with a tender and well-seasoned taste. Additional flavor variations can be enjoyed with complimentary toppings such as onion vinegar, pepper, and chili oil. Three free water dumplings are also included. They are currently distributing flyers for free toppings such as seasoned egg, extra noodles, and rice to commemorate the opening. I had tsukemen. Mix it well before eating. It has a rich seafood pork bone flavor, and the noodles are delicious. The aroma and taste of wheat spread. The soy sauce-based broth with a strong impression is a delicious balance with vegetables. The thick chashu with a mild seasoning was delicious without being overwhelming.

Finally had the chance to visit this place. I ordered the pork tsukemen. They also served complimentary water dumplings. I have been to all the other restaurants in the same chain, but I think the tsukemen soup here is the richest. I added some onions from the table to adjust the flavor. The noodles are thick and satisfying. The water dumplings are eaten with black vinegar, but if you don't like black vinegar, it may not be to your liking. Thank you for the meal!
