I was feeling hungry, so I headed to King's to get some food right away! I love all the dishes on the menu at King's, but the Supreme King's Tianjin Rice and Stir-Fried Leek and Liver (Just Size) are especially delicious! The Tianjin rice has a deeper flavor than the regular one, and the more you eat, the better it tastes! They always do a great job, I will definitely go back again~

I had a sudden craving for gyoza, so I visited this restaurant with a group of friends. We were seated at a table on the second floor. We started by ordering a bottle of beer and some gyoza. The beer arrived quickly. Cheers~! Mmm, it's delicious! The best. We also ordered pork kimchi and sausages as side dishes. As we snacked and drank, the gyoza arrived. It was really tasty! Gyoza no Ohsho is definitely on point. Oh, and the prices are pretty good for the quality. Before we knew it, we had consumed a lot of beer. Haha.

I became a lunch refugee and went to Gyoza no Ohsho Nambancho store. I tried the limited-time eggplant Szechuan noodles. It was a bit different from the photo, but that's okay. The taste was like mapo eggplant on top of the noodles. The gyoza was reliably delicious. Looking forward to the limited-time menu in October. Thank you for the meal.

Dinner during a state of emergency. I usually order regular dumplings, but this time I tried the popular extra garlic dumplings. I also added a half order of fried chicken. This set might be perfect? The extra garlic dumplings are seriously delicious! However, the rice was a bit lacking.

Last time, I ordered the Gyoza set meal but I didn't like the Anka Tamago-yaki, so this time I got the Gyoza double. It was very satisfying. I ate it with white rice and dipped the Gyoza in the sauce. It was delicious! I think I'm hooked on this menu.

This is the ultimate menu. All this for only 700 yen. Personally, I think the ankake tamago is just okay. Next time, I'll try the double order of gyoza. It was a happy dinner. Gyoza with beer is great, but gyoza with white rice is the best!

As the state of emergency is coming to an end, I was able to finish work a little early and dine in at this restaurant until 8pm. It is located in the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, right after getting off at Osaka Metro Minami-morimachi Station. I sat at the counter and ordered a Chinese rice bowl and two servings of dumplings. Alcohol service was until 7pm. Even though I didn't plan on drinking, it must be tough for those who enjoy dumplings and beer together. The freshly made dumplings for dine-in are definitely better than the takeout ones. Long live the restaurant industry! Thank you for the meal!

After finishing work on January 3rd, I completed my first shrine visit and other errands. It wasn't at Temmangu Shrine. On the way back, I had an early lunch. Although the food stalls were open, it was still a bit early. I managed to find a place that was open, probably Kyoto Osho. I sat at the counter with partitions and ordered "3 orders of gyoza and large rice." When I come here, I always go for the gyoza. Surprisingly, there were quite a few people. After about 10 minutes, the gyoza arrived. The thin skin was nicely browned. I dipped it in vinegar and soy sauce and took a bite. The flavor was decent, with a slightly weak charred taste. The garlic flavor was nice and strong, with a good aroma. I quickly finished my meal and the lingering taste of garlic was delightful. The smell of garlic was still present even after I returned home. I welcome the strong garlic flavor and would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal. Today's lunch: 3 orders of gyoza and large rice - 957 yen. Parking was closed.

Since the start of shortened business hours, many night dining places have closed down. Gyoza no Ohsho is also closed for dine-in, but they are offering takeout service. I got some gyoza to go and enjoyed them by pan-frying both sides at home. This way, they steam nicely inside the container. I like to experiment with different toppings like cheese or tomato sauce at home. The gyoza sauce that comes with it is tasty, but I sometimes switch it up with wine vinegar for a different flavor. It's fun to change things up and enjoy gyoza in different ways.

Due to the renewal of my license being by appointment only because of COVID-19, I arrived in Minami-mori-machi around noon after stopping by a hundred-yen store and other places. Since I had been collecting stamps at Gyoza no Ohsho, I decided to eat there. I ordered ramen combo, fried rice, and two servings of gyoza, using a newspaper coupon for a free serving of gyoza and paying with iD for a total of 1202 yen after the meal. The gyoza was served a bit late, and the table was a bit dirty, so I ended up cleaning it myself... but I guess it's understandable given the current situation. The taste was just like the typical Gyoza no Ohsho flavor.

I had vegetable simmered ramen. Although I don't often stop by the Osho restaurant near the station, I went to eat because it was a ramen with lots of vegetables. In the end, it was more like a plain ramen with stir-fried bean sprouts on top, rather than something to eat as ramen. It seemed like it would be better to just have a regular-sized ramen and vegetable stir-fry. It reaffirmed that it's better to just have dumplings and something else in a typical Osho style.

I went to listen to rakugo at Tsugihagi-so in February 2020. First, I had udon at Daruma-do, then enjoyed the rakugo performance. After that, I came here for dinner. I felt like I had eaten too much, but I found a happy half-size menu called Just Size and ended up ordering various dishes. The gyoza, crab omelet, mapo tofu, and fried noodles were all delicious. It was a warm and enjoyable dinner that warmed both my body and heart. Gyoza no Ohsho offers large bottles of beer, which is always a pleasant surprise. My husband and I talked about it. I had a highball, and the generous portion size was also a nice touch.

Today I had Chinese food! When it comes to Chinese food, I think of "Wang Shou". I ordered a satisfying set meal with fried chicken, dumplings, and Tianjin fried rice. I tried the Tianjin fried rice, and it was delicious as expected from Wang Shou! The fluffy texture of the eggs was amazing. The only downside was that I wish they had said "thank you" when I left. Maybe they were busy...

My friend Myrebi messaged me in the evening that there was a course for aged meat at 7:00 pm, but I couldn't make a reservation in time so I ended up going to "Manchuria" near the station to have some dumplings and beer. I had planned to just eat "plate udon" at the "Gyoza no Ohsho Minamimachi store" on my way back from work, but I ended up ordering a bit more - a draft beer (medium) for 410 yen, a serving of dumplings for 237 yen, and fried noodles for 626 yen. Despite planning to have a light dinner since I have work again tomorrow, I couldn't resist adding a "Gyo-B" to my order. Mixing the sauce for the dumplings with vinegar, chili oil, and chili peppers, the beer arrived quickly. The cold beer was refreshing and helped me relax. The plate udon (fried noodles) was served in just 3 minutes, followed by a serving of 6 dumplings a minute later. The dumplings paired perfectly with the tangy and spicy sauce. The crispy fried noodles were also delicious with plenty of vegetables. After finishing my meal, I was the last customer in the restaurant. I paid at the register and stepped outside to find the shopping street quiet and dimly lit. I hurried home to take my dog for a walk, take a bath, and go to bed. Good meal!

Last summer, the operating hours of "Gyoza no Ohsho Minamimorimachi" changed, with last order at 11:30 pm on weekdays and closing at midnight, making it convenient for those returning late from work to visit. However, in winter, the last order was moved up by 1 hour, returning the operating hours to normal and making it difficult to visit after work. From April, my schedule changed and I could leave work 30 minutes to 1 hour earlier on Fridays. Excited to see the bright sign of "Gyoza no Ohsho" at the entrance, I noticed a notice stating that on weekdays, last order is at 11 pm and closing at 11:30 pm. This meant I could easily make it on Fridays. I usually sit at the counter, but it was full of guys after work, so I was seated at a 2-person table. I ordered: Gyoza (6 pieces) for 237 yen, Sweet and Sour Pork for 324 yen, Leek and Liver for 309 yen, Mapo Tofu for 299 yen, and Medium Rice for 172 yen. With soup included, the total came to 1341 yen. It was a rare treat at Gyoza no Ohsho, costing 3 times more than the "Gyudon with Miso Soup" set at Sukiya. The kitchen staff of 3 worked efficiently and everything was ready in just 5 minutes. I forgot to order a draft beer, but decided to skip it to avoid adding more calories. The crispy Gyoza was irresistible, and the Sweet and Sour Pork, Leek and Liver, and Mapo Tofu were all delicious. This meal revived my tired body from work. I think Fridays will become my Gyoza no Ohsho day, 1-2 times a month. Bon appétit!

I love dumplings and have been to various Osho restaurants, but this was the best in terms of the perfect cooking and deliciousness (compared to others). Recently, most restaurants' dumplings have skins that are not tightly closed, so when you lift them up, they tend to open up and the filling spills out when dipped in sauce. Of course, I know this before going to eat, but still... you know. I want to expect dumplings that are tightly closed and juicy. Also, it's common for dumplings to stick together and not come apart, leading to the filling spilling out from the hole. But, but, but! These dumplings here are tightly closed, so even when lifted with chopsticks, they don't open up and can be eaten with the closed skin when dipped in sauce! I've been waiting for this taste! They are so juicy and crispy! Moreover, each dumpling comes off cleanly, so the skin doesn't tear and you can enjoy the juiciness! Just the fact that the dumpling skins are neatly closed is meticulous, and the cooking is unbeatable... Cheers to this amazing experience.

After going out for drinks with colleagues from work, we felt a bit hungry on the way back, so we decided to stop by the reliable and delicious King Shokudo. The restaurant has two floors and a smoking area, which was convenient. I ordered the Chinese rice bowl set and was impressed by how quickly it arrived. The dumplings came out in just 1 minute, which was greatly appreciated. As I enjoyed the dumplings, the Chinese rice bowl arrived. The hot vegetables were so flavorful and satisfying. Even though we had been drinking, I ended up ordering another beer. After filling our stomachs, we headed back home. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After finishing work on September 27, as usual, I got off at Namba Station in Osaka at 11:15. Today, I was looking for a place to have a late dinner. I usually go to 24-hour restaurants like Tsurumaru Udon, Sukiya, Matsuya, or Matsumoto Kiyoshi, or buy a bento box from a convenience store. However, this time I decided to visit "Gyoza no Osho Nambanomachi Store" located right above Nambanomachi Station. It's located at the entrance of the Minami Arcade on Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street 2-chome. I have used this place for lunch or when I finish work early. Previously, when I returned late at night, the lights were already off, but recently I noticed that it was still open with people coming in and out. I decided to take a peek and saw a notice that the business hours had changed, with the last order being at 11:30 pm and closing at midnight on weekdays. This was great news! I managed to make it in time for the last order. I happily entered the restaurant and ordered the following, all prices are tax-inclusive: - Draft beer set for 1080 yen including draft beer (medium), 3 gyoza, edamame, and one item from the Just Size Menu (Stir-fried leek and liver) - Just Size Menu (JSM) items: 3 gyoza for 129 yen, sweet and sour pork for 324 yen, fried rice with soup for 267 yen. In total, it came to exactly 1800 yen. It may be a bit luxurious for a salaryman's dinner, but since I have tomorrow off, why not treat myself! I quickly received a cold glass of draft beer and edamame. After a long day of work, I dug in. Since the 3 gyoza from the set wasn't enough, I added another 3 gyoza from the Just Size Menu. Within 6 minutes, 2 plates of gyoza arrived, followed by stir-fried leek and liver, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice. The dishes were lined up on the counter. It was cheap, delicious, and quick, with only a few customers at that late hour. I enjoyed my beer, gyoza, and various dishes, feeling satisfied and content. I left the restaurant, which had already turned off its neon sign. Thanks to the extended business hours at "Gyoza no Osho Nambanomachi Store," I now have an additional option for a late dinner after work, which is very lucky. I have updated the business hours on the Tabelog restaurant information. However, eating Chinese food late at night before bed is definitely not helping my battle against obesity! Bon appétit!

This is a past log. This is the Oushou Minamimori store located in the Tenjinbashi shopping street. They serve gyoza without garlic, which is not common in my area. As a gyoza lover, I find this very convenient. I wonder why they serve such small pieces of karaage called "putchi"? It's funny, but enjoyable.
