On a weekday in September, my niece took a day off school for a birthday trip to USJ. We arrived early and had dinner at Universal CityWalk. Then, we went to Starbucks for the chocolate chip frappuccino she was looking forward to on this trip! Around 7:30 pm, Starbucks was packed and there was a long line at the register. Even though we ordered through mobile, we had to wait for 15 minutes! It was the first time I had to wait that long with a mobile order! But what was amazing was that the staff were all constantly smiling and engaging with the waiting customers, true professionals in customer service ❤ This Starbucks is located on the 1st floor of Hotel Keihan Universal Tower, where we were staying, so we took our drinks to our room to enjoy. Normally, I only get free toppings, but since it was her birthday, I added the paid chocolate sauce topping. My niece was so happy! Her smile was priceless ❤ I tried the cold brew with whipped topping, which I've been into lately (it's like a smooth iced coffee without the bitterness). They open early in the morning, so it could be a good spot for breakfast or strategy meetings before heading to Universal ♬ Thank you for the meal!

Buffets around Universal City tend to have a lot of carbohydrates and low cost-to-price ratio, which can be harmful to your health. For this reason, I don't usually consider them as an option. Therefore, I think Starbucks, McDonald's, or Tully's would be fine choices. 😄

I tried the Halloween Frappuccino with purple sweet potato that is currently available for a limited time. I was really looking forward to it and it was delicious! The color is vibrant and it's very good.

On the final day of my trip to Osaka, I visited Universal CityWalk Osaka for the first time (although I didn't go inside). There are many shops and restaurants, so you can enjoy the atmosphere without entering. Before heading back, I took a break at Starbucks just before entering Universal City Station. This was the last store I used on this trip. I had a Grande size iced coffee (396 yen excluding tax) and an An Butter Sandwich (273 yen excluding tax). The iced coffee was delicious as always, but what I've been enjoying lately is the An Butter Sandwich. It's a soft French bread filled with smooth sweet red bean paste (which is delicious!) and butter-flavored margarine. It's a mini size, but you can taste the red bean paste and butter-flavored margarine in perfect balance, and the bread is soft and tasty. This combination was perfect for a 3 o'clock snack. Thank you for the meal!

The staff's atmosphere is still great! It feels better than other stores! Truly USJ quality! Even though it's outside of USJ, they still compliment the staff's attire, so I always end up stopping by this Starbucks! Grateful for the wonderful service until the end.

After eating at Baba Camp, I wanted something sweet, so I ordered the limited-time Sakura Strawberry White Tapioca Frappe and the new Earl Grey Scone. The Sakura Strawberry White Tapioca Frappe has a subtle cherry blossom and strawberry flavor with a nice hint of strawberry. It's not too sweet. The Earl Grey Scone, a new menu item, has a nice aroma of Earl Grey tea. It's not too sweet as well.

On the way back from Universal Studios Japan (USJ), I had a great conversation with the staff about Harry Potter, and I was impressed by the high-quality customer service at the shops in CityWalk. It's amazing to see that they can provide USJ-level service. Although I always have the image of it being crowded, it was a wonderful store!

Located right by Universal City Station, this place. I was all excited to go to USJ with my classmates since school was out, but then I found out there was a cram school session, so I had to be picked up. Everywhere at USJ was packed with long lines, so all we could have was popcorn, they said. I decided to get a takeout of a ham and cheese sandwich and the limited edition chocolate and strawberry frappuccino. The store was spacious and seemed like a nice place to relax. Unfortunately, we had to rush to the cram school with our takeout. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy our day off, but it couldn't be helped. The delicious frappuccino seemed to lift our spirits.

I used it before going to Universal Studios in the morning! The location is good and the atmosphere is calm, making it easy to spend a relaxing morning. The coffee has a fragrant aroma that enhances the taste, and the crispy texture of the bread is excellent! It lifted my mood in the morning and I want to go again! Thank you very much!!

There is a Starbucks next to the USJ. The atmosphere is really lively and it lifts your mood. This is from a previous seasonal menu item, the Sweet Potato Frappuccino! I don't want to eat a heavy meal right now, but I have some time to spare and I can't resist my hunger, so this is perfect for satisfying me. I wonder if my phone is charged now? I forgot to check (>_<)

Before going to USJ, I stopped by to grab a coffee to wake myself up. The shop was spacious but quite crowded, and I could imagine it getting full quickly during regular hours. I ordered a drip coffee and took my time before leaving. They also offer mobile ordering, which I'd like to try next time. Thank you for the meal.

Located right by Universal City Station, Starbucks Coffee on the first floor of Hotel Keihan Universal City. The glass-walled interior has a classic Old American style. It is relatively quiet in the morning. Matcha Tea Latte Grande Hot Nonfat.

Just before heading back from Universal Studios Japan, I took a short break in front of the station's ticket gate. It was quite empty.
