Special Rich Fish and Seafood Chinese Soba Salt 1100 yen This time, the noodles are from "Men Michi Shikata Kore Ima Sohonke" in Yotsuhashi. This is the third store in the Kore Ima brand, following "Menya Shikata Kore Ima Daito Honten" and "Men Shokun Kore Ima"... I wonder if this is the third store to be called "Sohonke"... It becomes unclear which is the main store... Is this a naming strategy to play on the psychology of "if they are in the same group, I have to try the main store"? Setting aside such speculations, I arrived at the restaurant around 5 pm on a weekday. It is located in the B1F area without going above ground after exiting the 2nd exit towards Yotsuhashi Station. As I was waiting, the owner or someone who seemed like the owner came out of the shop. Owner: "Oh! Are you already waiting? I'm sorry for the wait!" Myself: "No, no, take your time to prepare." Surprisingly, the shop opened 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time! Myself: "Oh! Are you ready already?" Owner: "Please, come in!" It's rare for someone to open earlier than the scheduled time when people are waiting before opening... Many thanks! First, I bought a meal ticket. The three main items here are Hamaguri, Asari, and Shiro Tamari Shoyu. Since the follow-up reviewer mentioned Hamaguri, I will go for Asari... Wait, what!? Asari is not available! There's no Shiro Tamari either! Oh no! Instead, there's Fish Sauce Shoyu and Salt? Oh no! Well, in such situations, I'll go for salt based on my preference! So, I ordered the "Special Rich Fish and Seafood Chinese Soba Salt". Then, I handed the meal ticket to the staff and took the seat they guided me to. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. Now, let's eat! Soup: The fish-based broth, especially the bonito flavor, is rich and flavorful. The saltiness is just right, not too strong or weak, perfectly balanced. The oil content is moderate, and the smoothness is exquisite. The balance is really good! Noodles: The noodles are slightly high in water content and flat. They have a pleasant elasticity and a chewy texture. The texture is so enjoyable that it becomes addictive as you eat more. Toppings: The thinly sliced pork shoulder loin is large and flavorful, with two slices. Despite being thin, the pork itself is flavorful and delicious. The seasoned egg is hot and runny, showing excellent temperature control in its preparation. The seasoning is mild, but the sweetness of the egg yolk shines through, making it perfect. The bamboo shoots are thinly sliced, which is a subtle but satisfying detail. The green onions are crispy and add a refreshing touch. Overall, even though the menu changed unexpectedly to salt, the quality was satisfying. With the customer service included, I give it 4 stars!

At Ramen Master Shisei, they serve a special cold dish called "Rausu Konbu Rich Clam Dashi Soba". While there are other konbu water-soaked noodles out there, this one stands out with its intense konbu flavor in both the soup and toppings, including grated konbu. You can choose between hot or cold, but personally, I recommend the cold option. The noodles have a strong chewiness like cold noodles, which I really enjoy. Delicious.

The rich Triton ramen is delicious. I would choose it without question just because of the combination of chicken, pork, and seafood. It's almost a forbidden move. By incorporating fish powder without losing the richness of chicken and pork, the soup becomes 100% flavorful. I am considering revisiting.

Chilled large portion for 1,050 yen. Kyoto mackerel simmered in dried bonito and Rishiri kelp. The chilled dish is rich in flavor and depth, with a high level of quality. The raw soy sauce complements the impact of the dried bonito and the richness of the Rishiri kelp, making it a dish that you will quickly finish and want to eat again.

The old restaurant name, Men Michi Sogohonke, has changed to Menso Shisei, so I revisited. I arrived around 7:00 PM on a weekday, and there was one customer before me and four customers after me in the restaurant. I ordered the special rich Triton tsukemen for 1300 yen from the ticket machine. The dipping sauce is made with a double soup of chicken and pork, with a thick texture and a restrained saltiness that makes it light and easy to drink on its own. The noodles are medium-thick flat noodles with a bit of chewiness, and they come with two large pork chashu slices and a flavored egg. When you dip the noodles in the dipping sauce, it adheres well and coats the noodles nicely. The taste and menu are the same as before, but it seems that the clam is popular, so I will revisit and give it a try.

I was excited to have ramen after a long time! The name of the restaurant had changed without me realizing, but the taste was still great with a good soup base. This time, I chose miso flavor, and it blended well with the clam broth. The noodles were medium-flat with a good chewy texture. The chashu was large but thin, which might be more suitable for women or maybe it just means I should have another bowl! Haha Personally, I think I prefer tsukemen. Also, the staff provided excellent customer service, which left a good impression on me.

Menya Shisei (formerly Men-Do Konjin Sogonke) [Yotsuhashi Building B1F, 1-cho, Shimmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka City] A ramen shop located on the basement floor of Yotsuhashi Building in Osaka. The name has changed from the familiar "Men-Do Konjin" to "Menya Shisei." Upon entering the shop, the owner or staff warmly greets you, giving off a good first impression. Purchase your meal ticket from the ticket machine and choose your seat. I ordered the Special Scented Rich Chinese Noodles with Salt for 1100 yen. The soup, illuminated to shine in a golden color, has a rich and smooth texture with a fragrant taste. It has a sweetness while still maintaining the presence of salt. The seasoned char siu pork has a good flavor, and when you chew it, a sweetness spreads in your mouth. The thinly sliced menma adds a nice crunch. The noodles are flat and slippery, allowing you to keep slurping them. I easily finished the soup as always. [Business Hours] Mon-Sat: 11:00-15:00 (Last Order), Mon-Fri: 17:30-21:00 (Last Order) [Closed] Sundays, Holidays [Payment Methods] Cash only, pay at the ticket machine.

Today's second stop is at "Men Shou Shisei" in Yotsubashi, marking my second visit to the restaurant since its name change. I came here to try the ramen that made it to the finals of the Ramen Grand Prix. I will be ordering the "Rausu Konbu Rich Clam Dashi Soba" in cold style from the ticket machine. Here comes the bowl. Let's start with the soup. It has a clam broth with konbu seaweed flavor, and it's seasoned with salt or white soy sauce. They also use hamaguri clams. The soup has a slightly thick consistency. The noodles are medium straight noodles with a good chew. Toppings include chashu, menma, chopped green onions, and shredded konbu seaweed. The chashu consists of pork belly and chicken breast. The menma is thinly sliced. The friendly owner made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

At lunchtime on a regular day, you can enter the Four Bridges Building basement floor from the middle of the stairs at Exit 2 of Yotsubashi Station. Inside, there is a ticket machine, a counter with seating for five on the right, and four tables for four people and two tables for two people on the left in a square space with a wide gap and a stylish concrete finish. The friendly owner greeted me and served the dish promptly. The clear broth soup with a strong transparency made from clams and seafood, with a hint of salt, fills the air with the aroma of clams. The soup has a strong clam flavor and is very delicious, with a good balance of salt and plenty of umami while being light. As you continue eating, the clam flavor fades and you can enjoy the deliciousness of the salt and chicken oil. The straight, medium-thick noodles were firm and elastic. The two slices of thinly sliced pork shoulder were light on fat and had a mild meaty flavor that matched well with the soup. It was a delicious bowl of noodles that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. Thank you for the meal.

Lunchtime at Men Shou Shisei, a ramen restaurant located in Yotsuhashi Building B1 directly connected to Yotsuhashi Station. After purchasing a meal ticket at the entrance vending machine, I found an available seat. The ramen menu includes: Spicy Miso Mazesoba for 900 yen, Rich Triton Ramen for 980 yen, Clam Miso for 850 yen, Clam Shio Soba for 800 yen, Special Clam Shio Soba with Char Siu and Ajitama for 1070 yen, Salty Chinese Soba with a rich fish broth for 830 yen, Soy Sauce version of the same for 830 yen, Rich Triton Tsukemen for 1030 yen, Salt Tsukemen with water-infused kelp for 900 yen, and Limited Edition Grilled Dried Sardine Cold Ramen for 900 yen. I had the Soy Sauce version of the Salty Chinese Soba for 830 yen. The bowl had a large piece of tender Char Siu, finely sliced Menma, and chopped green onions as toppings. The Char Siu was moist and had a rare texture, the Menma was soft, and the green onions added a nice texture. The soup had a gentle flavor but was rich in umami and had a fragrant aroma that paired well with the noodles. A simple yet delicious Chinese soba that remained enjoyable until the last bite. The attentive service was also excellent. Thank you for the meal.

It's a famous restaurant, but when I visited right at the opening on Saturday, I was seated immediately. I tried the special clam broth salt ramen, and it was truly delicious. The soup was so good that I felt like I could drink it forever, it's dangerously addictive. You can experience the straight-up delicious One Wan Ramen here.

I visited the restaurant on a regular night. I arrived before 6 pm and was able to be seated right away. There were no other customers at the time. The restaurant used to be called "Nika Sōhonten" but changed its name for its 8th anniversary. The interior had 6 counter seats and 14 table seats, with partitions between the counter seats and a spacious layout. I ordered the "Chicken Shoyu Ramen for 950 yen". The ramen was served in about 4 minutes. The soup had a rich chicken flavor with a smooth soy sauce taste. It had a medium thickness with a creamy yet punchy finish. The noodles were flat and medium thickness, cooked to a perfect firmness with a chewy texture. The toppings included rare pork shoulder, menma, and green onions. The pork shoulder was tender and moist, but it could have had a stronger presence in the soup. Overall, the ramen had a reliable taste typical of the Nika group, but it could have used a bit more uniqueness. If I were to visit again, I would like to try their default menu. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I had work in Yotsubashi and decided to have lunch at "Menya Shisei". I arrived at the restaurant around 12:15 and the place was about 80% full. They have counter seats and table seats, making it easy for both solo diners and groups to dine. I ordered the special clam salt ramen. It took about 7 minutes from ordering to serving. When I took a sip of the soup, I could taste the deep flavor and sweetness of the clam broth. The salt soup had a nice sharpness and although the initial impression was rich in umami, the aftertaste was refreshing. The soup was plentiful and delicious, making it irresistible even in the heat. The noodles were medium-thick and chewy, with a good texture and generous portion. The low-temperature cooked chashu and the dark orange yolk of the seasoned egg were also delicious. The person who seemed to be the owner greeted each customer politely, which was nice. Although I didn't watch the process, I could tell that they carefully prepare the ramen, and it was a pleasant experience. Thank you for the meal.

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. I went to the restaurant called "Konjiki-san" because I heard they changed their name. As soon as you enter, there is a ticket vending machine. I chose the 800 yen clam broth shio soba. The flavor of the clam is deeply infused into the soup - so delicious! The oil content is just right. I drank up every last drop! I hope they continue to prosper even more. Thank you for the meal.

This is Menya Shisei‼️ July is already midsummer‼️ Today is another scorching hot day with temperatures exceeding 30℃‼️ It's quite hot outside, but I'm walking through the underground shopping area to beat the heat‼️ At Crystal Nagahori, the westernmost building directly connected to the station on the underground 1st floor, the store name has recently changed from Men-do Jikomi Sokenya‼️ This visit is my first since the name change‼️ This time, it's a limited edition‼️ Cold Ebi Shio Ramen with seasoned egg topping‼️ It's great to have a cold menu on a hot day‼️ The soup is a cold, rich shrimp-infused salt-clear soup, full of shrimp umami that shrimp lovers will adore‼️ The noodles are flat, medium-thin noodles firmly finished with water‼️ They have a strong texture and go well with the rich shrimp soup‼️ The crunchy texture of the green onions is also good‼️ The finely sliced menma is soft and has a nice texture‼️ The seasoned egg topping is delicious with a creamy yolk‼️ The large rare chashu is meaty, tender, and delicious‼️ It was a delicious, cold, and hearty bowl of shrimp on a hot midsummer day‼️

If you come to the Shinsaibashi area and love ramen, this place is a must-visit! I visited for the first time in about 8 years since it opened in 2015. The location is on B1F directly connected to exit 2 of Yotsubashi Station. I was able to reunite with the head chef who used to work at Daito Honten. Although I was curious about the limited edition chilled shrimp salt ramen, I ended up ordering the "Special Hamaguri Dashi Shio Soba"! The toppings included two large slices of pork shoulder chashu, chopped green onions, menma, and seasoned egg, keeping it simple and delicious. The soup, without any saltiness from the soy sauce, had a refined clam umami flavor that spread gently and deeply, making it incredibly tasty. The flat, medium-thick noodles were chewy yet smooth, with an excellent texture that was irresistible! The chashu was moist and full of meaty flavor, while the seasoned egg had a perfectly white egg white with a flavorful yolk. I was blown away by the meticulously crafted bowl that truly conveyed the head chef's dedication! I want to try out the other menu items here too!

Located on the basement floor of a building near Yotsubashi Station, Menso Shisei (formerly Men Do Now) is a famous ramen shop known for its limited edition cold shrimp salt ramen. The noodles are made with Yoko Yama Seifun's medium-thick straight noodles. I ordered the cold shrimp salt ramen for 880 yen, with extra noodles (+100 yen) and special toppings (+270 yen), totaling 1250 yen. The dish arrived with two slices of chashu and a seasoned egg. The cold shrimp broth perfectly complemented the chilled noodles, creating an indescribable deliciousness. The chashu and seasoned egg enhanced the flavor even more. The dish was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The Menma added an extra touch to the dish. The level of quality at this restaurant is truly impressive. Cold ramen, a unique evolution of Japanese ramen, has become a staple of Japanese cuisine. While many ramen shops offer delicious options, this shop stands out for its exceptional quality and taste.

The original and main branch, located in Yotsuhashi Building, in a narrow alley, operates on a ticket system. Arrived at 10:45 and was the first in line. The interior of the shop is clean, but the windows on the outside are a bit dirty. The shop has one head chef and one female part-time staff member. They opened at 10:59, a bit early due to the heat. Seating is at tables initially, with 6 counter seats, 3 tables for 2, and 2 tables for 4. The head chef has a tough look but is kind. The regular ramen is relatively cheap at 800 yen, while the special clam broth ramen is 1070 yen. Beer options are Asahi or Kirin Ichiban for 600 yen. The noodles arrived in 7 minutes, are flat, with a slight edge, and are a bit softer than expected for a famous noodle shop. The soup has a gentle flavor and was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I tried clam broth ramen, soy sauce ramen, and salt ramen, and they were all really delicious. The photo is of the soy sauce ramen, which is extremely tasty. The rich umami flavor of the fish-based broth with a hint of bitterness really brings out the deliciousness. The salt ramen was also quite good, and I was completely won over by the flavor of the soup.

I went to "Men's Master Shisei" located on B1F of Yotsuya Building. The previous store name was "Nendo Jikou Sokenke", but it was renamed and reopened on June 9, 2023. I have been to "Nendo" in places like Daito City. Why did they choose a store name that makes it difficult to trace the lineage of "Nendo"? I ordered the "Fragrant Chinese Ramen with Salt" (830 yen) with toppings of rare char siu, finely sliced menma, and green onions. First, I took a sip of the golden soup... Delicious! I personally prefer menma that is not finely sliced. Hmm... I had high expectations just because it was related to "Nendo". The restaurant is located in the dining area directly connected to Osaka Metro Yotsuya Station on the B1F of Yotsuya Building.
