I came to this golf course for the first time. It is known as a very challenging golf course, but I was able to experience it fully in the front nine. The clubhouse was recently renovated, and the restaurant was clean. I tried to order sea bream tea-dipped noodles, but unfortunately they were sold out. I ordered meat and burdock tempura udon, and it was delicious. The restaurant reminded me of Kumamoto Chuo Country Club.

I finally tried out Koga Golf Club, which I had been wanting to visit for a while. Had breakfast with some business associates. I had hotcakes, while they had rice balls with miso soup. For lunch, I had the tonkatsu set. It was a bit on the firm side, but very delicious and fragrant. I also enjoyed a cold beer (you can choose between Asahi and Kirin). The golf course was... well, difficult. The greens were like a fortress, any shot over would roll off. The pin placements were brutal. And there were so many bunkers, and they were deep. My putting was at 38, bunkers at 15. As for my score... let's keep that a secret. I vowed to come back for revenge! I'll be back ✌︎('ω'✌︎ ) ===========

There is also a light lunch option available. Try the Gobou Tempura Niku Udon. It has a good balance of broth and the sweetness of the meat. The clubhouse was rebuilt a few years ago and looks very clean and beautiful.

The clubhouse has been renovated and looks beautiful, but it's disappointing that the best lemon sour in Japan is no longer available. The famous tai-chazuke at Akutagoya Golf Club is a popular choice for lunch. I really want to drink that lemon sour again.

After Typhoon No. 5 passed in June 2018, the morning was still cloudy and heavy. However, thanks to my good deeds, by the time I arrived at the golf course, the sun was shining brightly! The temperature wasn't too high, making it the perfect day for golf. Excited, I headed to the A Green course for the front nine, but unfortunately, I didn't do so well. Oh well, looking forward to lunch now! In the restaurant, I immediately ordered a draft beer. In the limited 40-minute break, I also had a highball. The grilled edamame with beer and highball was delicious. The edamame was grilled with olive oil, adding a nice flavor. It was a great way to replenish the salt lost from sweating. For the main dish, I had cold tan-tan noodles. I chose it without hesitation from the menu. The cold noodles had a mild spiciness, but still packed a punch. The thick noodles had a satisfying texture. It seems like the restaurant is trying to meet various requests from members, which is commendable for customer satisfaction. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great, especially since the clubhouse was rebuilt. After a satisfying lunch, I was ready for the back nine! Unfortunately, I didn't do well in the end. Thank you for the meal!

This is a restaurant located in Koga, Fukuoka, which is a prestigious golf course representing Fukuoka. The golf course is renowned for hosting the first Japan Open in Kyushu in 1997, and its numerous guard bunkers and challenging greens make it a top-class course. The newly renovated clubhouse restaurant is fitting for such a prestigious club. For lunch, I ordered the daily lunch set for 1500 yen. The main dish for the day was grilled young chicken. The salad included leafy greens, and the soup had a consomme base with a hint of rice. The grilled young chicken was finished with tomato sauce and served with a poached egg on the side. I also added some mezashi as a snack since there were members who could drink and drive. The clubhouse, which used to feel a bit old, has been completely transformed. Invited to a competition at the prestigious Koga Golf Club, I casually joined the bride training! Although I was initially nervous about playing at a difficult course where the Japan Open was held, Dandy kenchan-yoitikure advised me that Koga is a course that is difficult for skilled players but friendly for beginners. So, I arrived at 7 am after waking up at 5 am and started without any warm-up. I just went with the flow, thinking everything will be fine. After running around the course, I got hungry and had lunch at the clubhouse. I ordered the Hamburg Lunch which consisted of a juicy and tender hamburger made with Saga beef and Hizen pork, served with poached egg, mashed potatoes, salad, soup, and bread. The hamburger was delicious without any unpleasant meat smell, and the demi-glace sauce was just right. Despite the high prices at golf course restaurants, the food here was surprisingly good. The accompanying teachers ordered zaru udon and zaru soba, and they said the noodles were tasty. Although my afternoon play was not as good as the morning, I managed to get pars on some challenging holes, which made me satisfied. Overall, it was a fulfilling day on the golf course.
