■ Overall Impression I went to Kaigan Nakamichi Seaside Park for the first time and it was amazing. The parking and entrance fee cost around 1,000 yen, but the facilities are top-notch. Especially for children, there are about ten times more facilities than your average park, making it a great place for families with kids. Near the entrance, there is a food court where you can enjoy a variety of dishes. ■ Potato Fries + Nuggets It's like a McDonald's combo, not freshly made, but still tasty to snack on. ■ Tonkotsu Ramen A very standard tonkotsu ramen. It feels like something you would eat on a ferry. ■ Grilled Ramen I've been living in Fukuoka for over 10 years, but I realized I've never tried grilled ramen before. I ordered it out of curiosity, and it was just as I imagined. Thank you for the meal.

Before 1 pm on Saturday, the seats were somewhat filled but there were still plenty of places for one person to sit. I bought a ticket for the Sesame Mackerel Bowl (900 yen) and placed my order. The female staff member wasn't very friendly, but my order was served without any issues. The bowl had rice topped with sesame mackerel, but the amount of mackerel seemed a bit small. It came with miso soup, but for 900 yen, it felt a little lacking. However, the taste was not bad. Overall, it felt like a regular food court experience.

In the Seaside Maishima Park, there is a food court restaurant called "Wonder Shuttle". On sunny days, you can relax on the grass, enjoy some junk food and beer at the food court, and even take a nap on the grass. It's the best, isn't it? I tried the Red Spicy Curry for 820 yen. Even though I wasn't expecting much from the "spicy" label, it turned out to be not that spicy. But I have no complaints at all about this food court! I just love the atmosphere here! Every day is happy♪

(Visit on May 1, 2018) Second day of food exploration in Fukuoka. I took a bus to the seaside Nokonoshima Seaside Park while the weather was nice. There is a flower field with Nemophila flowers spread out, so I went to see that. After walking quite a bit in the park, I returned near the Wonderland entrance around lunchtime. I decided to grab something to eat at a food court-like area called Wonder Shuttle. It was not very crowded as it was a weekday during the Golden Week period. I was drawn to the words "Grilled Ramen," so I decided to try it out. However, the shop didn't have a name? I managed to read it from the receipt, but it wasn't listed on Tabelog. They offered a combo deal where Grilled Ramen and Fried Rice would cost 900 yen instead of 1050 yen if purchased separately. I paid first and was told it would be ready soon. The noodles were placed on a hot plate to prepare. The Fried Rice was a generous portion kept warm in a jar and transferred to a bowl with a lid. The Grilled Ramen was quickly prepared and I received it within a minute. I took the food to a table and tried the Fried Rice first, which was surprisingly good. However, the main dish, the Grilled Ramen, was mediocre in taste. It was not to our liking. The portion size was quite small as well. If the Grilled Ramen alone cost 650 yen, I wouldn't order it again even considering the location. I guess getting the combo was the better choice. Thank you for the meal.

Wonder Shuttle is a place located within the Umihodo Seaside Park, where you can find restaurants and shops. They offer a variety of menu items such as BBQ, set meals, yakisoba, and curry rice. You buy a food ticket and then wait for your order. I ordered udon and curry, the portion size was average but the prices seemed a bit high. There are plenty of seats, around 200 or so. They also offer items like American dogs, potatoes, and fried chicken, making it a good spot for a quick bite. Soft serve ice cream is also available, which could be a nice treat on a hot day.

There are typical foods lined up in this place. It's not a place to expect interesting flavors. The usual shops serving ice cream, shaved ice, curry rice, etc. are lined up.
