I had always been curious about this place, but whenever I went in the evening, they were already sold out and closed. So, this time I woke up early and went right after they opened. At first glance, it seems like they have more savory and meal-type items than pastries. The items I bought this time were: Croissant, Mentaiko French bread, Bacon Epi, and Mixed Sandwich. The croissant was quite large, with a crispy and light texture on the outside, but moist and soft inside. The Mentaiko French bread was the last one left, but it was small and packed with plenty of spicy cod roe, perfect for Mentaiko lovers. The Bacon Epi was a hard bread with a firm texture, but also slightly chewy, and I loved it. The bacon was not crispy, but still had a thick and tender texture with a hint of sweetness. The Mixed Sandwich had fluffy white bread filled with salami, lettuce, cheese, cucumber, and mayonnaise, as well as scrambled eggs, lettuce, cucumber, and mayonnaise. It looked very filling, but it was even more satisfying to eat. Each item was delicious and there were no disappointments. The prices were not cheap, but considering the taste and quality, they were actually quite reasonable. I will definitely be back again.

I visited at 12:30 on a regular day and there were already 2 customers ahead of me. Some breads were already sold out. I bought a croissant, walnut anpan, and beef stew. The croissant was large and had a solid texture, while the beef stew and walnut anpan had a delicious firm dough.

This time, I visited "Cante Grande Bakery" in Kita-ku, Osaka City. The location is very close to Nakatsu Station on the subway. This is my second time purchasing their bread, and I really like the appearance of their bread, especially the hard baguettes are delicious. Since I enjoyed the croissants last time, I bought them again this time. They also have several types of cheese bread, which I always buy. Their bread is so delicious that it becomes addictive, and I get excited as soon as I see the display of bread in the store! Thank you for the meal.

Thank you for always viewing. If you liked it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the restaurant by clicking the "Save Shop" button. I had delicious ramen at Chukasoba Kirimen and now I'm looking for a souvenir for my wife. I visited Cante Grande Bakery in Nakatsu for the first time. The address of Cante Grande Bakery is 1-12-11 Nakatsu, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Melodyheim Nakatsu Niban Building 102, next to exit 2 of Nakatsu Station on the Osaka Metro. It has been selected as one of the top 100 bread shops in the Foodlog Bread West 2022. I arrived at the shop around 1 pm with Google navigation in hand. Closed on... None, Business hours... 8:00-18:00. I thoroughly disinfected both hands with the alcohol at the entrance, got permission for taking photos, and unfortunately, the bread was running low. If you have specific bread in mind, it is recommended to call and reserve it. You pick the bread yourself on a tray and pay at the register. I ordered a Scrambled Egg Sandwich, An Butter Sandwich, and Condensed Milk France for my husband. The total was 799 yen. After paying, I thanked the staff at Cante Grande Bakery and left the shop. When I got home, depending on the type of bread, it is usually wrapped in nylon. I arranged them and took photos under the sunlight, and shared them with my wife. The Scrambled Egg Sandwich is a sandwich filled with plenty of scrambled eggs, lettuce, cucumber, and ketchup, with a considerable weight and volume that is satisfying for those with small appetites. The bread is very fluffy and has a good balance with the ingredients. The An Butter Sandwich is a semi-hard bread with plenty of Hokkaido red bean paste and domestically produced salted fermented butter. The soft French bread, red bean paste, and butter have an exquisite sweet and salty balance. The Condensed Milk France is a semi-hard bread with plenty of condensed milk sandwiched between soft French bread, with a gentle texture and a delicious taste that both children and adults will love. Husband: Thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I will come again! Thank you for reading until the end. I hope this information can be helpful for your gourmet experiences.

When I went in the evening, the shop was closed because they were sold out, so I visited around 9 o'clock on another day. They didn't have a lot of items out yet, as they were still packing them. I bought croissants, matcha melon bread, chai cream bread, herb sausage bread, and half a loaf of Onoa bread. There were also many reserved items available. I wanted to buy some hard bread too, but they were too long to carry, so I gave up (it said that you can't cut it if it's freshly made). They were all slightly warm, and I thought they would be incredibly delicious if I ate them now. Each item was large and satisfying to eat. Payment is cash only.

[Visit Date] 6/12/2023 morning [Order] Hot Dog and Tamago Pan I arrived in Umeda before 9 am on a night bus from Sendai. I decided to look for breakfast after returning home. I found this bakery nearby that seemed popular. There were so many options, but I ended up buying two bread rolls that weren't filled. When I got home and had them after taking a bath, they were still tasty even though they had cooled down. Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying delicious udon, I headed back home and decided to make a detour to a bakery near Nakatsu Station, which is said to have a wide variety of bread. There were no other customers, so I could leisurely look at the bread options. Although there weren't as many types of bread displayed as I had hoped, I decided to purchase the following: - Walnut Baton Chocolat (222 yen): The bread was harder than I expected, with plenty of walnuts and chocolate chips kneaded into it. - Classic Baguette (275 yen): I bought this to make garlic toast. It was quite substantial for the price, and when toasted, it turned wonderfully crispy. - Pain au Chocolat (240 yen): This is one of my favorite breads. The surface was crispy, and the chocolate inside had just the right amount of sweetness. - Mentaiko Cheese (190 yen): When toasted, the cheese melted nicely. The presence of mentaiko was quite strong. - Walnut Red Bean Bun (183 yen, excluding tax): The size was small, but it was filled generously with red bean paste. The addition of walnuts was a nice touch. Each bread was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

First visit. I prefer savory pastries over sweet ones, so I was surprised (^◇^;) Most of them were sweet. There was one Croque Monsieur left, so I quickly grabbed it, haha. Also, since I was there, I bought a baguette, and a chocolate and orange bread to take home (^O^) As for the taste... the chocolate and orange bread had plenty of chocolate chips ♫ They were quite bitter chips. The orange peel aroma came on strong afterwards, leaving a lingering aftertaste (^O^) Delicious ♫ The Croque Monsieur had ham sandwiched between toast, topped with sauce and cheese ♫ It was comforting. A simple taste (^O^) I'm too full to eat the baguette now, so I'll have it later (^◇^;) It was delicious! Thank you ♫

Visited the popular bakery "Cante Grande Bakery" in Nakatsu. It is run by the well-established cafe "Cante Grande" also located in Nakatsu. - Chocolate and orange campagne bread is delicious. Both the chocolate and orange have a strong fragrance. - Honey Gorgonzola is a must-try. The texture of the bread is chewy, almost like a bagel. The surface is originally crispy, but thanks to the honey, it has a crunchy texture. It's enjoyable when there is a contrast in texture like this. The walnuts in the dough are fragrant, but as a cheese lover, I think they could have added more Gorgonzola. Overall, it was quite good.

When I asked for the French bread to be cut, it came out as shown in the photo - extremely slanted. I've never seen anything like it. Why would they cut it so slanted? It's too long and narrow, making it difficult to use. Even if I try to make it into a sandwich by cutting a slit, it's hard to do, and if I try to make bruschetta, it's unbalanced because it's too close to the edge. Is this the norm for a bakery? It's so difficult to use that I almost want to ask for an exchange, but I already took it home, so that's not possible. I'll try using it for garlic bread or something similar, or cutting it into thin slices to make it work. I was planning to use it for a home party tomorrow, but now I'm disappointed because my options are limited. If you request a slanted cut for French bread, it might be better to ask for less of an angle, depending on the staff.

I visited a bakery that I had been curious about for a while during my trip to Osaka. The location is right near exit 2 of Minami-morimachi Station on the Osaka Metro. The shop has a cozy and stylish atmosphere, with a mix of homey vibes. I bought a croissant, which was quite large. The surface was crispy, the inside was dense, and the taste of butter was decent while the flavor of wheat was strong. This time I only had the croissant, but there were many other types of bread that caught my eye, so I would like to try various breads next time.

Salt bread and mentaiko France Nakatsu Station is really close. I always wanted to visit this bakery during my stay, but never really made the effort to go. However, when I searched again, I realized it's just a few minutes' walk from where I'm staying. It's funny how different stations can make a place seem far away. I decided to buy some bread for dinner at the hotel and warm it up in the microwave on my floor. The mentaiko France bread has a nice kick to it, with a mild spiciness. The baguette has a simple flavor, and even though I tore it before heating, it's a soft French bread. The salt bread is just my type - it's like a buttery roll packed with dense dough and a hint of rock salt. Delicious! I'll definitely come back for more during a leisurely walk.

I visited the store right after it opened and luckily didn't have to wait in line due to the pouring rain. They had a wide variety of bread, which was unusual to see about 3 different types of baguettes! I bought the balsamic baguette, which had a unique combination but I could sense their creativity! It was delicious! I bought three loaves of bread and went home. The gorgonzola and honey bread was incredibly delicious! It was so chewy and amazing. Also, the basil and sausage bread was tasty too. These were my kind of bread, so I'll try different ones next time.

I visited the store around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. There were about 5-6 groups of people inside. I bought Balsamic Bacon Epi, Chai Cream Pan, and Honey Gorgonzola. They were all very delicious. It seemed that items like Shokupan and Pain de Campagne were available by reservation only.

I left Ponte Vecchio and returned to Umeda. I have 2 hours until my return Shinkansen. In the meantime, I decided to visit this place one station away. It's a bakery located near Nakanoshima Station, part of the Pan West 100 stores. They use homemade natural yeast to bake fresh bread. When you enter, you'll see a variety of bread lined up, with a workshop in the back. They offer a wide range of bread, including side dishes and sweet bread, suitable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I tried the Spicy Bread, which was filled with plenty of cheese and ham, giving it a strong flavor that pairs well with alcohol. They also have specialties like Mentaiko France and Negi (green onion) bread, perfect for onion lovers. With both classic and unique bread options, this bakery is worth a visit for those who enjoy a variety of bread.

The bakery "Cante Grande Bakery" located near the 2nd exit of Nakatsu Station in Osaka is known for being selected as one of the top 100 bakeries in Japan for two consecutive years. They are open from 8am to 8pm every day, making it convenient for customers. I visited the bakery early in the morning on a holiday, and despite the early hour, there were already 5-6 customers coming in and out. The freshly baked bread at the back of the store gives off a delicious aroma, and the staff provides decent customer service. I tried the "Dutch red bean bun" which had a good balance of sweetness and a nice texture. Overall, the taste was good, but the prices were slightly on the higher side. I would rate this bakery 3.6 out of 5 for its good taste, average atmosphere, and service. While it may not be a highly recommended spot, it's worth a visit if you're looking for a variety of delicious bread options in Osaka's Nakatsu area.

For those who enjoy exploring various restaurants, it is very convenient to have a reasonably priced restaurant where you can enjoy dishes for around 1000 yen. This restaurant is located right outside the No.2 exit of Nakatsu Station, where you can find a great selection of budget-friendly restaurants. You can easily visit about three restaurants in the Nakatsu Station area alone, especially if you have a big appetite. The restaurant is situated along a main street, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere thanks to its glass windows. I visited around 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon, and although customers kept coming in, there was no wait, and there were plenty of bread options available. With closing time at 8:00 pm, you have the chance to visit even after work, which is great. This time, I chose some bread based on good reviews I found. ・Cheese Epi with Balsamic Sauce - 264 yen tax included Everyone seemed to highly praise the Bacon Epi, so I had my eye on it even before entering. The cheese dough wrapped in a chewy baguette, with bacon baked inside, had a crispy surface and was finished with balsamic sauce. At this price point, many famous shops offer small Bacon Epis, but this one was a bit larger, delicious, and very good value for money. Highly recommended. ・Mushroom and Sausage Gratin Bread - 259 yen tax included The sign said "Baguette dough," but when I tried it, it had a soft and fluffy texture, which was a nice contrast to the Bacon Epi. The not-too-sweet bechamel sauce, plenty of shimeji mushrooms, and chunky sausages made this a satisfying and tasty choice at this price point. Highly recommended. ・Matcha Melon Bread - 243 yen tax included I simply love melon bread, so I chose this one because the crispy surface looked delicious. The matcha cookie dough with white chocolate was indeed crispy and thick, and the brioche dough inside made it feel like eating a pastry. Personally, I'm not a big fan of brioche dough (even though it was written on the price tag, I didn't notice), but the other two items were really delicious. If you ever find yourself in the Nakatsu Station area, be sure to visit this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Kante Grande Bakery", selected as one of the top 100 bakeries on Tabelog, around 10 am on a regular day. There was no line, but customers were constantly coming in. The store was spacious and had a good variety of items. The croissant (297 yen) was huge with a moist and dense texture, reminiscent of old-fashioned croissants. The pain au chocolat (259 yen) was also moist and dense, with a cocoa flavor accent. The cream pan (235 yen) was disappointing as it had a hollow center, although the slightly sweet dough was tasty. The bacon epi (232 yen) had a strong bacon flavor and a firm French bread dough. Despite being a top 100 bakery, I felt that the croissant dough and the filling of the cream pan did not surpass the level of a regular bakery.

I visited in the early afternoon. I moved to this shop from another bakery recommended by a friend. There was only one other customer, so the atmosphere inside was calm. The prices are set at a reasonable range, which is appreciated. I felt there was a significant price difference between here and the other bakery. I bought a unique product I hadn't seen before in a bakery, as well as a baguette. Unfortunately, the seasoning wasn't to my liking.

I visited the shop on a weekday around 2 pm. It was not crowded, so I was able to make a purchase quickly. The breads were priced around 200-300 yen each, and I bought the mentaiko French bread. It was delicious, and I think this shop is recommended based on the taste and prices.
