First visit to Universal Studios Osaka. Ordered "Duck Tsukemen". It was simply a delicious duck cold noodles, with a rich and flavorful dipping sauce. The restaurant was crowded, probably due to people returning from Universal Studios.

After coming back from Universal Studios, my friend asked me if I knew about "other people's bowl." I remembered it but hadn't had it in a while. It made me crave it. The eggs are so delicious, especially when combined with the broth. Since we were at a soba noodle shop, I wanted to eat soba noodles too, but considering my stomach capacity, I only had the "other people's bowl." It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I enjoyed two days at USJ and ended up watching the One Piece show two days in a row because there were still seats available. It was really great. As we had some time before our bus back, we decided to explore the terrifying restaurant area after leaving the park with my family. Although it was a quiet day, almost all the restaurants had a small line forming. My family wanted something light to eat, so we decided to try this noodle shop. It was past 10 pm when we were seated, and we were surprised to see the closed sign go up. We ordered the mountain-style soba set for 1380 yen, the parent and child rice bowl set for 1180 yen, and the duck dipping soba set for 1580 yen. It felt like as long as you eat what you want, it's all good. The food arrived after a while, and it was pretty much what you'd expect from a theme park quality-wise. As we were eating, we noticed the staff starting to prepare to close down. It really felt like waking up from a dream after the amazing time we had in the park. My child seemed disappointed when they realized the parent and child rice bowl wasn't like the one from our favorite restaurant. By the time we finished eating, half of the restaurant was already cleaned up. Overall, it was a place where the menu seemed to have more attention to detail than the actual food. Thank you for the meal. Must be tough for the staff to work there...

Visited a soba restaurant on the 3rd floor of Universal City for lunch. The lunch menu was limited. Ordered the soba set meal with tempura for ¥1188 and my companion ordered the zaru soba set meal. The warm soba did not have a Kansai-style dashi taste, which was disappointing. My companion found the zaru soba to be too firm. The mixed rice was delicious.

I had a delicious and cost-effective lunch. The soba noodles were firm and tasty, and the mixed rice that came with the set had a refined flavor. The fried chicken came with a sweet and sour sauce similar to the one that comes with Oita Toriten. It was refreshing and enjoyable.

Katsu Don Set 1298 yen
Katsu Don with soba, karaage, and pickles. The tonkatsu is crispy and not greasy, with a rich flavor. The egg is just right, not too runny or too firm. The soba is soft and flavorful, and the karaage is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Oyako Don Set 1265 yen
Oyako Don with soba, karaage, and pickles. The chicken is grilled and has a nice smoky flavor. Overall, the dishes have a strong soy sauce flavor.
Located on the 5th floor of Universal City Walk, behind the Arch Gate in USJ. A restaurant specializing in soba and rice bowls. It was crowded when we visited, as it was close to closing time. There is a food sample showcase outside the store and hand sanitizer is available at the entrance. Orders are taken at the table, and payment is made at the register near the exit on the way out. During lunch break while unpacking after moving, I went for a walk around the neighborhood. There were plenty of food options in Universal CityWalk, making it hard to choose. However, similar to Ikspiari near Disneyland, most of the restaurants were chain stores and lacked interesting individual shops. As a result, we ended up trying a soba restaurant. My husband ordered the fried chicken set, while I got the cold soba set. The fried chicken and soba arrived within 1-2 minutes, prompting us to wonder if they were freshly fried or pre-cooked. The taste was average, but the lunch prices were reasonable. The restaurant was spacious, and due to the pandemic, it was quite empty. The service was good, and it was a comfortable place to dine.

This time, I came to eat at "Shinobuan" in Universal CityWalk, a restaurant where you can eat hand-cut soba noodles. I had known about this place before, but this was my first time eating here. The establishment dates back to the year of my mother's birth in 1947, so it has a history of 78 years. The reason I chose this place this time was because I saw a photo menu posted on the way to the restroom that looked delicious. It was a seasonal limited menu item called "Beef Curry Nanban Soba." The dish was priced at 1080 yen for just the noodles, or 1280 yen for a set with rice. I chose the set with rice. The curry was poured over the noodles with plenty of meat on top, and it was topped with green onions and a raw egg yolk. It was a simple curry soba with a sweet taste. To be honest, there was hardly any spiciness, so it may be seasoned in a way that even people who don't like spicy food or children can enjoy. They use a blend of 80% soba flour and 20% wheat flour known as Ni-hachi soba for their hand-cut noodles, but the noodles didn't have much chewiness. The curry was lukewarm and didn't warm up the body much. The taste was not bad, but unfortunately, because of my delayed review, it can no longer be eaten (sweat). If you're interested, please come back and try it in the winter (I'm quite careless). The rice in the set was quite ordinary, slightly on the hard side. Thank you for the meal~.

The overwhelming manpower obtained by the large number of staff input, resulting in swift processing ability, compresses the customer's stay time, generating an impressive turnover rate. The action power of each staff member is modest but impressive. We stopped by for dinner after a long time at Universal Studios with our children, and unlike other stores, the overwhelming processing ability here efficiently handles waiting customers even as they continue to line up. During the peak time just after closing, both Hard Rock Cafe and Ganko Sushi had over 20 people waiting in line simultaneously, but the speed at which waiting customers were served here was incomparable. For those who need to quickly eat after visiting Universal Studios, I highly recommend bookmarking this place. It was a great help for us as we couldn't wait in line like adults with small children. The menu consists mainly of soba, rice, and chicken, which is sufficient. The cold soba broth is less sweet than my personal preference, with no sharp soy sauce flavor, overall on the mild side. The soba itself is slightly soft, making it easy for children to eat.

After enjoying Universal Studios, I always crave soba noodles. After exploring various restaurants in the area, I always end up at this place because the soba here is consistently delicious. The atmosphere inside is lively with many people drinking alcohol, so I ended up ordering a bottle of beer as well. The restaurant was quite crowded, and the staff seemed busy trying to remember everyone's orders. I was impressed by how good their memory was.

When you want to have a leisurely lunch at Universal Studios, it's convenient to go to the neighboring Universal City. They have a variety of options like Japanese, Western, Chinese, ramen, takoyaki, pancakes, and hamburgers, but today I chose soba noodles. I didn't have high expectations for soba noodles at Universal Studios, but the soba noodles made from freshly ground buckwheat flour in the store's stone mill were delicious. The authentic soba noodles with a flavorful and aromatic bonito broth were excellent. The restaurant is not crowded during weekdays, so you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. Considering the location within Universal Studios, the prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and it's a perfect place to take a break and recharge for more fun.

I experienced the One Piece Premium Show, chose some souvenirs, and then headed out of the park. All the other shops were closed, but this one was still open so I decided to stop by. I ordered the pork cutlet rice bowl and soba set, and it was perfect for my tired body as the flavor was rich.

Before going to Universal Studios, I had lunch! I wanted something light, so I chose soba noodles! When we arrived at the restaurant, there were only 5 people in a group, so it was empty, which was nice. However, the tempura in the tempura set was more like pickled eggplant. It was a bit disappointing. The vegetable tempura had too much onion and the pumpkin was hard. It was disappointing in various ways. The soba noodles were good though! Also, I wish they had the option to change the rice to mixed vegetable rice. The roasted green tea after the meal was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It's a soba restaurant chain that mainly operates in the Minami area. The soba noodles are a bit thin and tasty, but overall it feels like a family restaurant. It's a place where anyone can eat without any particular preferences. The seats are wooden chairs without backrests, which can be uncomfortable for long stays. Also, the way they assign seats in the empty restaurant is a bit disappointing. Eating dinner at Universal Studios is very expensive, so it's better to stop by CityWalk. This time, I had a set meal with katsudon and zaru soba with a large serving of soba for 1274 yen. The soba noodles looked a bit small for a large serving.

Before entering USJ, we decided to have a light meal, so we came to this place. Despite it being daytime, the restaurant was dimly lit. The interior was spacious but the customers were seated close together in one area. We were led to our table and a dish that looked like soba broth was placed on it. We thought it was soba broth, but it turned out to be tea. A bit confusing... I ordered the mountain vegetable rice bowl and soba set. We waited quite a while for our food. The taste was okay, nothing special. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. It may be known for its quietness, but being quiet and lacking energy are different things. I didn't leave with a feeling of "that was a good choice." It's okay if you just want a meal.

After playing at USJ, we decided to have dinner before heading to the station. This place was chosen as the end to a day of eating pizza and churros around the park. We opted for some light soba noodles at this restaurant. Located on the 3rd floor inside Universal City, towards the USJ side, the dimly lit establishment was surprisingly quiet. Despite there being 3 groups of customers, there were plenty of open tables, but we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. It seemed like we arrived during a shift change for the staff, as the service wasn't as smooth as usual. I ordered the "mountain soba" for 918 yen, while my daughter got the "zaru soba" for 788 yen. The dishes arrived surprisingly quickly, almost as if they were prepared while we waited. The soba noodles were slightly firm, but the combination of grated yam, raw egg, and dipping sauce matched well as we ate. Despite the short wait, we finished our meal swiftly and were able to catch our train smoothly. Thank you for the meal.

The raccoon set costs 1,078 yen. The air conditioning is broken, but it's not too hot, so it's just right. The food was a bit disappointing, but it's nice to be able to relax. I spent about an hour including a break. Thank you for the meal.

The katsu don set (hot) for 1,188 yen was a disappointment. The katsu don was not good because they reheated the fried food, making the meat tough. However, it was still better than the food inside Universal Studios Japan.

I stopped by on my way back from USJ. I always think that none of the menu items are particularly delicious. Also, the restaurant is cold. I came to the udon shop to warm up, but it was so cold that I felt like freezing.

Social distancing does not seem to be considered at all. The taste is not particularly distinctive. Also, the dipping sauce is not very delicious. I'm not sure about the warm version, but I do not recommend the cold soba.
