This time, I properly dined inside the restaurant. I went to "Seigetsu" in Kashii. During the pandemic, I had used their takeout service before, but this was my first time dining in. I started with a draft beer and sashimi of yellowtail for 430 yen plus tax. The texture was really good. Soy sauce is nice, but it might also go well with ponzu sauce. For skewers, I had chicken thigh (100 yen plus tax), liver (120 yen plus tax), and bacon-wrapped half-boiled egg for 250 yen plus tax. As expected, the quality was great. For my second drink, I had a highball with Hakusan Isshaku whiskey. It's a bit more expensive than just drinking Isshaku straight, but it goes really well here. During a break on a business trip, I visited an old friend in Kashii and had them take me to a popular local restaurant. This time, I hadn't tried yakitori yet, so I ended up ordering pork belly and beef skirt. We toasted with beer and ordered various dishes. The timing of the dishes coming out and the grilling were both great. It had been a while since I had yakitori with shredded cabbage, and I realized how much I missed it. There were also various options for the final dish, and it was a cheap, reliable, and easy-to-visit restaurant.

Fukuoka Kashii Station is about a 5-minute walk away. "Seiki" is a local chain with several locations, and I enjoyed the local Fukuoka yakitori there. When it comes to Fukuoka yakitori, the style is skewers of grilled chicken served on a bed of cabbage. Particularly, the chicken skin skewers seem to be a popular choice! The skewers here also came with crispy chicken skin on a bed of cabbage. The chicken skin was grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of fatty flavor. The cabbage helped to balance out the richness. I tried various skewers and finished with a grilled rice ball. The grilled rice ball had a slightly crispy surface and was lightly brushed with butter, making it delicious to eat. One of the standout skewers was the one wrapped in bacon and egg - it was really tasty!

Today, I wanted to go to the first place. Following my partner's instructions, we entered at 5 o'clock. Customers kept coming in one after another. It's popular. The chicken tataki is lightly seared. It was delicious. The duck liver wasn't as impressive as last time, but still tasty. We had gizzard, pork belly, tail meat, and heart and ate until we were full. Grilled chicken restaurants are the best after all. I think the dish was called Steamed Chicken and Avocado Salad. It had wasabi dressing, which was incredibly delicious. Note to self, this place in Kashii is a sure bet for grilled chicken.

At the second stop in Kashii, I couldn't help but be intrigued by a yakitori restaurant we passed by. It was almost full, with reservations already made. Clearly, a popular spot. The menu was surprisingly simple. I selected three skewers to start with. The "Darmu" skewer reminded me of the yakitori we loved and used to go to in Kurume. It had a nice thickness and flavor, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I will definitely come back. Maybe I'll even bring a bottle next time.

In the vicinity of Kashii, if you let your guard down, yakitori restaurants are on the rise. I have mastered the technique of lightly eating and drinking at two different places, so I decided to try it out. First, I visited this restaurant that has been on my mind since it was located next to the tracks before redevelopment. It ended up being my first visit after they moved to the town center due to redevelopment. It was already past 5 PM, but there were already quite a few customers inside. The atmosphere was lively. I was drawn in as well and took a seat at the counter. I ordered beer, chicken skin, pork belly, chicken thigh meat, and Fukuoka-style sesame mackerel as side dish. The sesame mackerel was really good. It had been a while since I had it, so it was delicious. It was also quite filling as a side dish. The skewers were served one by one as they were grilled. Most of them had a decent portion, but the chicken skin was a bit modest. The Fukuoka staple cabbage dressing was a bit light for my taste. I wrapped up the meal quickly, but it was reasonably priced. The skewers had a good portion, so I guess that's how it is. Thank you for the meal.

Based on my friend's recommendation, I went to this place! The yakitori was really delicious!!! I wanted to eat more~ I want to visit this restaurant again! It's close by so I should go! I get nervous going alone though.

It has become a regular event for my family, and we visited the family year-end party after a year. The children have been excited for a few days already. It was great to see the energetic staff, including the manager. Of course, the yakitori and other dishes were delicious as always.

The yakitori restaurant I often go to is located a little off the main street in Kashii, easy to find because it's isolated. It has about 10 counter seats and 2-3 tables, a typical size. The classic chicken skin was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, very delicious. The liver was tender and fluffy, a favorite dish of mine. The thick pork belly, crispy bonjiri, chilled tofu with kimchi, and more, all satisfying dishes. The only downside was that despite having a large plate of cabbage, they still served an appetizer. I don't often go to Kashii to drink, but if I have the chance, I would like to visit again.

Recently, I told my wife that I often go out for yakitori at drinking parties, and she suggested that we should go as a family! So, I chose this famous yakitori restaurant in Kashii. The restaurant has been operating in Kashii for a long time, but it seems like they recently relocated, and the new store was clean and fresh. Especially on weekends, table reservations are a must at this popular restaurant. We actually wanted to go on Saturday, but couldn't get a reservation, so we ended up visiting on Sunday night. We were seated at a sunken kotatsu table, and I had a draft beer, my wife had a non-alcoholic beer, and my son had juice for a toast. The yakitori ranged from 70 yen to 200 yen per skewer, and overall the prices were reasonable. For our finale, we had grilled rice balls (250 yen) and the famous Chengis soba (600 yen), which were both delicious and satisfying for the whole family. The butter on the grilled rice balls was surprisingly tasty! The restaurant is conveniently located near our home, so we are looking forward to visiting again as a family soon.

I visited this restaurant in Fukuoka for a reunion with old friends. The atmosphere was calm and spacious with a few table seats and a counter. We mainly ordered yakitori and other small dishes. The prices were very reasonable, with many items priced at 100 yen or less. My friends particularly enjoyed the cheese rolls, grilled mochi, fried cartilage, corn, and grilled rice balls. The staff was very accommodating and we left very satisfied. I would definitely visit again when drinking in Kashii.

I went to Yakitori Narukichi in Higashi-ku Kashii! (*^◯^*) Since it has moved, the exterior and interior atmosphere are excellent! The skewers at this restaurant start at just 70 yen, so you can enjoy them at a very reasonable price! I tried various skewers like chicken skin, gizzard, and cartilage! The skewers are cooked perfectly! It goes well with alcohol, making it a place you'll want to visit again! Kaishii "Yakitori Seikichi" for takeout~Seikichi, a yakitori restaurant located in front of Kashii Station. It's just a few minutes walk from my home, so I really wanted to come and relax with a drink, but due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, I opted for takeout instead. I got a set of 15 skewers - the miso chicken thigh and chicken skin look delicious. The pork belly is also big and looks great. Also, there's gizzard and heart - all of them look good. There's also stingray fin and fried chicken - both look nice. I hope to come back after COVID is over and enjoy a draft beer at the counter~
