This place used to serve Torigoya's tantan noodles about a year ago, but it has now changed to another restaurant within the Torigoya group. It was initially only offering takeout, but recently they have started allowing dine-in as well. Upon entering, there is a contactless temperature check and alcohol disinfection at the entrance. I ordered the green curry, which costs 980 yen for dine-in with the consumption tax included. They only accept card or PayPay for payment. The open kitchen is like a factory, preparing various dishes. My colleague chose the tantan noodles, which can be customized in terms of spiciness and noodle type. The green curry was mildly spicy and watery, almost like a drink. It contained summer vegetables like eggplant and bell peppers, along with 3 pieces of fried chicken. The rice served was purple mixed grain rice, which paired well with the watery curry. Next time, I might try the spicier tantan noodles.

Takeout daily bento boxes are available, with Sunday being Chicken Curry day. The menu changes depending on the day, and I forgot to take a picture of the menu I received, sorry. The curry was slightly spicy, maybe too much for kids. Be cautious if you don't like spicy food. Unfortunately, the curry spilled a bit on the way home, so I couldn't take a nice picture. Despite that, the taste was delicious, just a normal curry. They also offer dishes like Gapao Rice, Singapore Rice, and Green Curry on other days, so I will definitely be going back!

I visited the restaurant with a friend. The interior hasn't changed much since it was a spicy ramen shop. I love hot pot, but famous hot pot restaurants are rare in Fukuoka. This place is run by a sukiyaki restaurant, so I was a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be quite good. There were some differences from Chinese hot pot restaurants. The meat options were chicken and pork, no lamb, but plenty of mushrooms and vegetables. The variety of vegetables like lettuce and turnips was slightly different from Chinese style, but it seemed intentional. I personally wished they had pea shoots or Chinese broccoli. We consulted with the manager and chose red and black (mushroom) soup. The condiments and sauces were plentiful. We made our own spicy sauce with a sesame base and enjoyed it. For dessert, we had spicy ramen in red soup and risotto in black soup. The spicy ramen was authentic with a combination of sesame sauce and chili oil. There were some differences from Chinese hot pot, but overall it was good.

During this hot season, I crave spicy food. I was browsing the website of "Torida" and found out that they have opened a new location. I remember having their Hakata Tantanmen before, but now it has transformed into a hot pot factory. I contacted them on the same day to make a reservation, and they said there were available seats. I also inquired about whether it was okay to have the hot pot by myself, and they confirmed it was fine. I made a reservation for a weekday night. When I asked the staff, they mentioned that they are testing out the menu as a trial run for a potential store in Hakata KITTE or Tenjin. The style has changed to Mongolian hot pot style. I decided to order the Hot Pot Factory Update for 2480 yen, which included a daily assortment of vegetables, mushrooms, pork shoulder and loin, chicken from Kyushu, homemade shrimp wontons, special champon and cheese risotto to finish, and a dessert of mango lassi frappuccino. The difference between this and the Standard option for 1980 yen was the mushroom assortment, homemade shrimp wontons, and dessert. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. There were two options for the hot pot base: red soup with 3 types of chili and Sichuan peppercorn broth, and white soup with thickened Kyushu chicken white broth. Both soups were low in salt, and there were various condiments to blend and adjust the flavor. It was a bit challenging to figure out the perfect taste, but it was fun to experiment. The variety of condiments made it difficult to determine the ideal flavor. The vegetables, mushrooms, and meats used were delicious, as well as the dessert. Overall, it was a tasty experience, and I even received a fan from another store called "Uotada" to cool down. The green tea with water from Yame was also very delicious. Thank you for the hospitality. It was a great meal.

I wanted to eat hot pot so I went to the Minoshima Nabe Kogyo restaurant. There are counter seats and tables available. I was glad I made a reservation as it was fully booked. There were over ten types of condiments available for customization. I had fun choosing and putting them in small dishes. The soup comes in two colors, red and white. The red one is not as spicy as it looks. The meat was cut and served after ordering. The meat looked beautiful when it arrived! There were plenty of vegetables to enjoy as well. We were discussing whether we needed to order more meat, but we ended up having noodles in the red soup and cheese risotto in the white soup as the finishing touch. I was full and satisfied. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was great. Of course, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely visit again!

A new shop has opened at Torida's soup factory, and their hot pot soup is really delicious. The variety of condiments is abundant, making it easy to eat and drink. You can't help but keep adding meat, vegetables, and mushrooms into the soup. The finishing touch of champon motsu-nabe is different from what you're used to. It was a night of getting addicted to the hot pot.

Visited based on a flyer received from Torida-san. No reservation on a Saturday night, but still managed to get a table for 2. Around 6 pm, there were about 3 groups of customers already there. The service wasn't exceptional, but you could feel the effort put in. You can choose from 3 types of soup, and the red one isn't too spicy. You can adjust the spiciness to your liking with the condiment buffet. That condiment buffet was quite interesting. The portion sizes were decent and satisfying.

"Beauty Island Hot Pot Factory" in Minoshima, Singapore Rice at Torita-san.... It used to be a shop that served fried chicken and tantan noodles, but now it has become "Beauty Island Hot Pot Factory" and they have started offering bento boxes for takeout as well. They operate by dividing the back space and the front. I tried the Singapore Rice which costs 950 yen. It comes in a carefully packaged container. It has lots of cilantro and roughly chopped nuts for a nice texture. The sauce is especially delicious. It feels like being in Singapore, even though I've never been there before.
