Shinfu (Chicken broth + soy sauce 920 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a soy sauce flavored chicken broth base. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The toppings include pork shoulder chashu, white negi, mitsuba, chopped onions, menma, and naruto. The soup is made from chicken bones and high viscosity, with a hint of aromatic oil added. It has a slight spicy miso flavor as an accent, along with a rounded soy sauce seasoning for sweetness and acidity, creating a rich and flavorful taste that brings out the condensed umami of the chicken well. The homemade noodles have a supple firmness and a rich wheat flavor that pairs well with the soup. There is a free service for extra noodles. The thick and hearty chashu is moist and has a good meaty texture, offering a delicious taste. Seasonings such as pepper, ramen tare, sudachi daikon, separate garlic, and ramen spice are provided for you to enjoy different flavor variations. I went to the famous Ennosuke Shoten near Hankyu Awaji Station. It is often crowded, but I was able to get in without waiting around 9 pm on a weekday. The rich chicken broth with chewy medium-thick noodles was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The soup was a rich chicken broth. The char siu was amazingly delicious! It was so good that I added rice halfway through. I enjoyed it until the end. It was a little after 6 pm on a weekday, and there were mostly solo female diners! Everyone ordered the classic ramen. The staff kindly said, "You can have extra servings for free" at the beginning. Thank you! I will go for the extra serving next time! Thank you for the meal!

Once again, I came here. I had the old-fashioned large rice set for 1000 yen. It was a hearty meal and I was satisfied. The soup was a bit light compared to the last time I tried the new-style dish, but it went well with the rice. Adding the spicy miso topping halfway through allowed me to change the flavor and enjoy it until the end. Next time, I will challenge myself with the dipping noodles after a long time!

I think both traditional and modern styles of ramen are delicious, but I feel the greatness of Ennosuke through their limited edition ramen. Today, I ordered the limited edition ramen made with parent chicken called "Kasaoka Ramen". It was a light soy sauce ramen with thin noodles and a refined chicken broth. The char siu made from parent chicken had a chewy texture and rich flavor reminiscent of local chicken. It was a perfectly crafted ramen that didn't need any further enhancements.

I visited the restaurant around 7pm on a regular weekday night. The place was almost full and there was a line forming right after. I ordered the New Style ramen with extra noodles and extra chashu. The soup was thick and rich, very delicious. The rare chashu was also very tasty. However, I didn't quite like the texture of the noodles, I prefer them to be more chewy and firm. The large portion was quite filling.

Selected New Flavor - Large Portion First Visit
I had been curious about the chicken paitan kotteri here, so I headed to the restaurant in that mood. New flavor or old flavor? Or maybe tsukemen? I was torn, so I asked the staff for advice. They kindly explained that the old flavor is richer than the new flavor, and if I plan to come back, I should go for the old flavor or the tsukemen. So, I decided on the new flavor. The staff also informed me about the free option for a large portion, which I had forgotten about, so I was grateful.
When the bowl arrived, I couldn't help but smile at the careful service. The soup was thick and creamy, with rare chashu slices, naruto, seasoned egg, green onions, and bamboo shoots floating beautifully on top. With the first sip, I could taste the rich and flavorful chicken broth, enhanced by a slightly spicy red miso sauce. The noodles were smooth and fresh, perfectly complementing the soup.
The standout was the rare chashu - tender and flavorful, adding a different dimension to the dish. Mixing it with the soup deepened the flavors even more.
Halfway through, I refreshed my palate with pickled daikon radish, enjoying the bamboo shoots and seasoned egg which added a touch of elegance.
Overall, it was a rich and flavorful chicken paitan ramen with a variety of ingredients blended together beautifully. It was a delightful meal! Next time, I'll try the tsukemen for sure.

It's been a while since I had some noodles. I ordered the classic style noodles with a side of mini rare chashu don. The rich chicken broth soup was delicious and paired well with the thin noodles. The rare chashu don had a generous amount of meat and was very satisfying. The restaurant is located near Hankyu Awaji Station and has a wide variety of menu options. I would like to stop by again to try more dishes. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant during lunchtime. I arrived before 12:30 and was able to be seated right away. There were 8 other customers in the restaurant. This popular chicken white broth restaurant is located near Awaji Station. The interior had a cozy and warm atmosphere with a counter seating for 8, 4-seat tables, and 2-seat tables. There were no partitions between the counter seats and the spacing between tables was quite wide. I ordered the "Ajitama Old-fashioned" for 1050 yen. It arrived in about 6 minutes. The chicken white broth had a smooth and rich flavor, with a strong taste of chicken. They cook chicken bones and maple leaves over high heat to avoid any greasiness. The soy sauce was used in moderation, giving a well-balanced impression. The medium-thin noodles from Nihonhon Seimenjo were cooked to the right firmness, providing a chewy texture. The toppings included rare pork shoulder, seasoned egg, naruto, mizuna menma, chopped green onions, and regular onions. The pork shoulder was tender with a pleasant texture, and the meat's flavor was just right. It's better to eat it before it's cooked too much. The seasoned egg had a good flavor. Overall, it was a smooth and well-rounded chicken white broth. However, it could have been even better with a more distinctive feature to make it stand out. Thank you for the meal.

Special traditional style ramen for ¥1300! It has a rating of 3.71 on Tabelog and is selected in the top 5000! I love the chicken broth ramen! The soup is thick and rich, so delicious that it's hard to stop slurping. Look at the second picture, the noodles are perfectly coated in the creamy soup. The chashu pork slices are large and tender. When I eat ramen, I usually go for the special version with all the toppings. Everyone should definitely try it! #sake-drinking-girls #drinking-tag-gram #Osaka-gourmet #Osaka-ramen #Osaka-lunch. "Classic Style" for 900 yen. Noodles upsized for free! Garlic soup with a thick and sticky broth made from chicken bones and maple, cooked at high heat. The soup has a rich texture without being too salty. The noodles are firm and have a satisfying bite, perfectly blending with the soup. Toppings include rare chashu, menma, onions, green onions, and leeks. It's been over 3 years since my last visit to this place near Awaji Station. I couldn't decide between the classic, modern, or Chinese-style ramen, but I chose the classic today! The whole day offers free noodle upsizing, and the rich and creamy soup is just delicious. And the noodles are irresistible. I recently visited a restaurant opened by someone from this place, but the ramen there was similar yet different. I wonder if the noodles are the same...? I don't know. I'll come back soon to try the modern style. Thank you for the meal!

Today I went on a ramen tour to Awaji, and recently I have been eating at the same restaurant multiple times. This time at "Ennosuke Shoten," I tried the "Kohfu" ramen. Almost everyone who visited this place ordered this ramen. The cold version is light, while the default version is rich. If you're going to eat multiple times, starting from the light one and then moving on to the rich one is a must.
Soup:
The soup is made from chicken broth. It's a taste that has been passed down since the establishment of the restaurant. The soup is made by boiling chicken bones and maple leaves over high heat to extract the umami flavor of the chicken bones to the maximum. When you take a sip, you can feel the richness and viscosity of the soup, which is full of the umami flavor of the chicken but also has a mellow taste, making it a chicken white broth soup.
Noodles:
The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles. They are made from a special order from Nihonhon Seimenjo, providing a chewy texture and a smooth slurping sensation. The noodles lift up the rich chicken white broth soup well, and the wheat flavor does not lose to the soup.
Char Siu:
The char siu is made from pork shoulder loin. It is cooked at a low temperature, making it moist and juicy, enhancing the heaviness of the dish when mixed with the soup.
Overall:
I finished the rich ramen smoothly and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a while since I had chicken white broth ramen, and it was very easy to eat, not too rich, and just right for my taste. I tried both the light and rich versions, and both had their own unique characteristics, which was great.

Today, I went on a ramen tour to Awaji and visited East Yodogawa-ku, which I don't usually come to. I finally made it to "Ennosuke Shoten" that I've been curious about. I arrived during peak hours and had to wait for one group ahead of me. I was planning to try the "Kofu" ramen, but then I found out they have a summer limited edition cold ramen called "Reifu," so I decided to try both. First, the "Reifu" arrived.
- Soup:
The soup is made from chicken-based broth with a high viscosity and a surprising thickness. It combines chicken bone and chicken broth with kombu, creating a cold soup with a citrusy twist. The richness of the chicken and the hint of Japanese flavor from the kombu, along with the refreshing citrus, made it easy to drink.
- Noodles:
The homemade medium-thick straight noodles were firm and chewy, with a great wheat flavor. They were perfectly chilled and paired well with the cold soup, making it easy to slurp them up.
- Chashu:
The chashu was made from rare pork shoulder loin, thickly sliced for a satisfying bite. It was cooked at a low temperature, allowing the meat's flavor to shine through. Having two generous slices was a luxurious touch.
Overall, it was a light and easy-to-finish bowl of ramen, even with the extra noodles. The citrusy touch made the soup refreshing, almost making me want to drink it all up, but I held back as I had more to try. It was truly a perfect bowl for this summer.

Limited time offer "cold wind" ordered, which is available only until today or tomorrow. A refreshing, cold salt ramen with a hint of citrus fragrance on chicken and kelp. I like this kind of ramen. Also ordered extra noodles and a bowl of char siu. My friend chose today's ramen, which is a garlic-flavored mixed noodles. I tried a bit of it, added extra garlic and ramen spice. Both were delicious in their own way, like two opposite types of ramen. I also enjoyed mixing the leftover garlic sauce from the char siu bowl. Ate too much and got really full. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the restaurant with friends who came from afar. It was a Saturday evening, but for some reason, it was always empty around that time. It's a great time to visit. We ordered the special signature dish, the New Wind extra large serving! I usually never order anything else besides the New Wind, even though I want to try other dishes. My body just craves it every time. As always, the rich flavor of the soup mixing with the noodles was amazing. During telework, I always order their mixed noodles through Uber Eats, but ramen is also great! Next time, I'll try the classic style or the limited-time menu. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I have tried all the main ramen dishes during my fourth visit, and all of them were of high quality. This time, I ordered the ramen with a new flavored egg. The soup was thicker than I expected, reminiscent of extreme chicken flavor. They offer free extra large portions. Just when I started to feel a bit overwhelmed by the rich taste, the pickles on the table were a perfect balance. The service from the staff was also excellent, making this restaurant deserving of high praise.

At lunchtime on a regular day, it's about a 2-minute walk from the north side ticket gate of Hankyu Awaji Station. As you turn right on the first street of the shopping street, you will find the restaurant. Inside, there are tables for 4 people and 2 people near the front, and a counter that can seat about 6 people towards the back. You order from the staff after sitting at the counter, and although they offer free upsizing, I chose the regular size. I also asked for extra garlic. After a short wait, the dish arrived. The soup is a thick and rich chicken broth mixed with soy sauce, giving it a strong flavor. The thick soup clings well to the straight thin noodles, creating a delicious balance of concentrated chicken umami and soy sauce. It's quite heavy, so it may not be to everyone's taste. The staff here are very kind and polite, which I found impressive. Thank you for the meal.

I visited here for lunch on Sunday. It was my first time in a while. The menu used to have dishes like potachiki, but now it has changed to a mix of new and traditional dishes. I tried the new dish. The thick chicken broth base soup was just to my liking, and the homemade noodles were delicious! The staff were friendly and cheerful. Personally, I think this restaurant ranks high in the competitive ramen scene in the Awaji and Kamishinjo areas.

Ancient style ramen for 820 yen. Toppings include chashu, green onion, menma, mitsuba, and naruto. The noodles are homemade medium-thin straight noodles. The soup is a rich chicken white broth-based soy sauce soup.
Weekday, clear weather. Arrived around 18:10. Only 3 customers inside. Took about 5 minutes until the ramen was served.
First visit since the new menu. I had been avoiding this place since last year as I felt the taste had declined (personal opinion). However, I decided to give it another try this time. The rich soup had a thick viscosity, with a strong chicken flavor and richness, very delicious. The medium-thin noodles were smooth and had a good mix with the soup, very pleasant texture. The chashu was thick and moist, allowing you to taste the meat's flavor. The large serving of noodles was free, although it wasn't announced when ordering as it used to be. There was yuzu daikon on the table. You could order garlic, spicy miso, or ramen spice separately, but the sign in front of the seat had fallen. They also saw us off outside when we left, which I've always appreciated. It was delicious - thank you for the meal.

I visited a popular ramen shop in Osaka Awaji for the first time and had their rich chicken broth ramen with chewy noodles. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately without having to wait outside. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere with friendly staff welcoming me. I ordered the "Kofu" ramen with rich chicken broth and chewy noodles, which was delicious. The taste reminded me of the rich broth from "Tenkaippin" ramen.
