I finished my meal with dessert at the café located inside the hotel. I ordered a Gelato Double for 700 yen. I chose Chocolate Italiano and Noto Premium Milk flavors. The hotel has a high-class atmosphere and the service is excellent. The gelato was top-notch, especially the combination I chose. There are about 6 flavors available.

The domestic beef steak lunch was beautifully presented and delicious. The meat was tasty and perfectly cooked, so it was delicious with just salt. The dessert gelato was also delicious, bringing out the flavors of seasonal fruits. Each dish had lovely toppings that would be perfect for Instagram. The service was also good, attentive and thoughtful. I enjoyed delicious food and had a great time.

On a hot summer day, I took a break after picking up my luggage from USJ and headed to this shop. As soon as you walk in, there's an ice cream counter. They have 6 flavors in the showcase - single scoop for 500 yen, double for 600 yen, and triple for 650 yen. We decided to try three flavors each and conquered all of them. Each flavor was rich and not too soft or too hard. They held up well as we ate them without melting too quickly. The balance of sourness, sweetness, and fruity taste was just right. The shop is located near the entrance to the restaurant, so there were customers coming in to pick up takeout orders, but the staff handled everything smoothly without disrupting the atmosphere. Honestly, I wanted to take some of this gelato home. I was really impressed. Thank you for the meal.

There is a hotel in front of JR Sakurajima Station called Hotel Liber. Inside the hotel, there is a restaurant. The specialty here is the steak cooked in a kiln. The steak is cooked by an Italian chef who speaks Japanese well and is able to answer various questions. Cooking steak in a kiln is rare in Japan, but this style involves putting charcoal in the kiln and cooking the steak on a grill on top. This allows the steak to be cooked thoroughly even if it is thick. In Italy, this is common practice, as they use pizza ovens to cook various dishes. The taste was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the kiln-cooked steak as it is quite unique!

Located inside the Libel Hotel on the left side, this spacious and very clean hotel offers delicious gelato. Even if you only purchase gelato, you can enjoy it inside the shop. Prices are 450 yen for a single scoop, 550 yen for a double scoop, and 600 yen for a triple scoop. On the day of the visit, there were 6 flavors available: rich matcha, grand pistachio, chestnut, strawberry, Noto premium milk, and Italian chocolate. The limited-time chestnut flavor costs an additional 200 yen. I ordered a double scoop of Noto premium milk & chestnut, and rich matcha & Italian chocolate. All 4 flavors were impressive in richness and smoothness. They were intense but refreshing to eat. The limited-time chestnut flavor tasted like eating actual chestnuts, with a wonderful sweetness and creaminess. The Noto premium milk was rich and the most delicious milk gelato I have ever had. It was so delicious that I want to eat it again. The atmosphere inside the shop was also nice, so I would like to try their food as well.

Restaurant inside the Rivel Hotel. They also offer takeout menus, perhaps due to the pandemic. The menu includes salads, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Ordered "penne pasta with tomato sauce," "beef hamburger sandwich," and "beef sirloin steak bowl," each priced at ¥1500. It takes at least 30 minutes for the order to be ready (on this day, it was 40 minutes), so it's better to allow more time compared to regular restaurants. All dishes had generous portions and were delicious. As expected from a 4-star hotel restaurant, even for takeout, the flavors were carefully crafted and of high quality! The beef sirloin steak bowl stood out for its tender and flavorful meat, which was my favorite. One of the highlights of this restaurant is their gelato, supervised by the "Asia's first Gelato World Champion." You can enjoy it at the gelato corner inside the restaurant. I'm curious about that too!

Osaka is a spacious and relaxing cafe located right next to Universal Studios Japan, just a short walk from JR Sakurajima Station. I stopped by before the cool beer terrace event at Hotel Universal Port, which is adjacent to Universal Studios Japan. I only had time for a drink, but they also have a great food menu. I opted for a grapefruit juice, which was served in a cool paper cup with a paper straw. The atmosphere was nice and the juice was delicious.

Next to USJ, in front of Sakurajima Station, a new LIBER HOTEL restaurant Cafe&Bar has opened. The interior is calm and adult-like, with a spacious dining area. I went a little early, around 11 AM, and there were only two other groups of customers. Even by the time I left at 1 PM, there were only four groups, so it was very quiet and relaxing for lunch. I tried the LIBER sandwich selection for 1,100 yen, which includes various sandwiches and burgers in small sizes that are easy to enjoy. The taste was delicious, and they even had a fruit sandwich which could serve as a dessert. I added coffee for 200 yen, which was a rich and strong cup of coffee with milk. The food was tasty, but unfortunately, the waiter seemed inexperienced - struggling with seating, not providing explanations of the menu, and appearing unsure while serving. It felt like they hadn't received proper training, which was disappointing.

Today, I stayed at the newly opened Riebel Hotel near Universal Studios Japan for a trial stay for work. Since I'm here for work, I'm alone. I thought about going to Bentencho or Nishikujo for dinner, but it seemed a bit of a hassle. Luckily, the restaurant was open, so I decided to dine at Cafe Bar Riebel on the first floor of this hotel. The interior was quite spacious with a casual atmosphere. I started with a toast with a Trilby, then proceeded to order the following: Food: - Foie Gras Terrine Berry Roll with Black Sugar Crumble - 1500 yen - Bisque Soup with Shrimp Powder - 1000 yen - Bread - Beef Rib Roast Steak 150g with Tomato Miso and Red Wine Sauce - 2200 yen Drinks: - Osaka Local Beer "Kuni no Chou Beer" Kura Kolsch - 850 yen - Montebello Trebbiano del Rubicone (glass) - 700 yen - Montebello Sangiovese del Rubicone (glass) - 700 yen Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this hotel restaurant. The Foie Gras Terrine Berry Roll was a delightful appetizer, reminiscent of an adult version of a popular Japanese sweet. The Bisque Soup was rich and flavorful, and the Beef Rib Roast Steak was cooked to perfection with a delicious tomato miso and red wine sauce. The Osaka Local Beer was also a nice touch. The hotel's spa for guests was also a highlight, leaving my skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On the way back from Mozu, the bus line was long and crowded, so I took a taxi to Sakurajima Station. I heard that the gelato here is delicious, so I visited this place in front of the station. I had a double scoop of milk and matcha flavors, along with a cafe latte. It was delicious.

During my trip to Kansai, I had the world's best gelato supervised by Asia's first gelato world champion, Daizo Shibano. The gelato was made with fresh strawberries, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor. It was like biting into a whole strawberry. The vanilla gelato was rich and creamy, made with freshly squeezed milk.
