Anyone would want to eat a delicious lunch, right? I often see this sushi restaurant on SNS recently, and whenever I see how delicious it looks, I can't help but want to eat there. Let's go try it out after a long time. The restaurant is both a fresh fish market and a sushi restaurant, located along a prefectural road in Umemitsumachi, Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It's about 20 kilometers away from my home, and I arrived at 10:50, just in time for the 11:00 opening. The staff welcomed me in, and I saw that the place was already busy with a few customers. I ordered the sushi set for 1430 yen including tax. Inside, there were two male sushi chefs at the counter, along with three female staff members. The chefs were not actually making sushi, but rather placing the toppings on the rice balls that came out of a rice ball forming machine. The set included sea bream, tuna, kanpachi, salmon, squid, shrimp, sea urchin, and ikura gunkan sushi, which were all generously sized. The sea urchin gunkan sushi brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. The freshness of the fish was satisfying, and I particularly enjoyed the large-sized toppings. The shrimp tempura served on a separate plate was firm and delicious, especially when dipped in mayonnaise. The dish of fish innards marinated in yuzu-flavored vinegar was a great accompaniment to sake. The chawanmushi with fish slices, peeled shrimp, and shiitake mushrooms had a mild dashi flavor. The miso soup with small clams and seaweed was simple but satisfying. I didn't dig out the clam meat as there was someone sitting next to me. It was a shame to waste it. The restaurant was constantly filled with customers coming in one after another, so I decided to leave early after seeing people lining up outside. It's always best to take action early. I'm glad I got to eat there.
