It's been a while, hasn't it? Today we had some meat sashimi, so my mom and I each had one. This is my favorite. Other sashimi is delicious too. My mom always says that the dishes made by mom are delicious. I love it here too!

Today, I finally visited this standing bar that I had been curious about for a while. I was the first customer there! They were showing the WBC on TV, and the owner was watching while cooking. I started with a bottle of beer since they don't serve draft beer. There were many small dishes lined up on the counter. I ordered pickled mackerel, deep-fried pickled ginger, fried horse mackerel (forgot to take a picture), simmered thick tofu, and smoked dried herring. The pickled mackerel was surprisingly delicious with a thick and flavorful taste. The fried dishes were a bit soggy from being reheated, but I didn't mind. When I finished my bottle of beer, I ordered a Guinness. I never expected to drink Guinness here, but I love its creamy texture. As I was drinking, the owner and some customers came in, making the place a bit livelier. When I finished my Guinness, I decided to try some sake. They had a bottle of Nabeshima for only 380 yen! I never thought I would be able to try such a unique sake at a standing bar. Feeling a bit tipsy, I decided to end my drinking for the day. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's been a while since I've been here, I always end up eating before taking a photo (laughs). I eat too fast! But all the dishes my mom makes are delicious, so I can't help it. Today, my favorite dish was sold out. I haven't been able to eat it lately...

This is a standing bar near Suminoe Koen Station that opens from midday. They offer a wide variety of shochu and sake, as well as a lot of dishes including sashimi. I had a glass of Kametsubo barley shochu on the rocks, and it was delicious. I think it is probably run by a husband and wife. There were also a few female customers, and it seems to be a standing bar loved by the locals.

Today, after finishing my night shift, I had some errands to run and ended up at Suminoe Koen Station without sleeping (^○^) I've been awake for 26 hours now (*´Д`*) I had a light meal at home in the morning, but by 4 pm, I was feeling a bit hungry. Since I plan to crash as soon as I get home, I decided to have a light meal and a drink, so I searched on Tabelog (^○^) I found a standing bar called "Tanaka Saketen" with continuous business hours, although it had few reviews. I decided to visit them (*⁰▿⁰*) As the name suggests, the bar is run by a liquor store. When I entered, I saw counters at the front, back, and in the rear of the store. To avoid crowding, I sat alone at the counter in the back. There was a tough old man from Suminoe Ward sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen, who seemed like a regular drinker, while I was in a suit, feeling a bit out of place (laughs). I started with a lemon chu-hi. I also ordered spare ribs and doten stew. The spare ribs were microwaved and served. They were not falling off the bone, but they had a good sweet and savory flavor. I wished the Japanese mustard was served on the side of the plate though. The broccoli and egg were also delicious. As for the doten stew, it was microwaved and then topped with green onions. It wasn't too strong in flavor, but it went well with the drinks. I added another plain chu-hi (laughs). The doten stew had some Sichuan pepper on the rim of the bowl, which I'm not a fan of... it was spicy... made me sweat. They had shichimi and salt and pepper on the counter, so you can add Sichuan pepper yourself if you like (*´Д`*) While watching the news of a nationwide emergency self-restraint declaration on the TV in the store, I decided to leave (≧∀≦) - Drinks 300 yen x 2 - Food unknown x 2 Total 1,450 yen Thank you for the meal.

I really like the atmosphere of this place. It's nice and relaxing without any overly drunk people. The snacks made by the mama are delicious. I especially love the seasoning of the simmered dishes.

There is a nice standing bar located near Suminoe Koen Station on the Yotsubashi Subway Line. It is attached to a liquor store and always crowded in the evening after work. I used to have the impression that standing bars were unwelcoming to new customers, but this place was easy to enter. The appetizers made by the owner are delicious no matter what you eat, and it's clear they care about the ingredients. They have a variety of local sake available, and they take great care in storing and managing it, going to the refrigerated warehouse every time you order. And yet, it's very affordable, it's just amazing (laughs).

I visited this place after a year, and the master and the hostess still remembered me, which made me happy. Sprinkling tenkasu on oden and eating it is delicious. When it comes to Osaka, ginger tempura is a must. The shochu I kept that day was gone by the time I left. This place is great! The shochu here is unbelievably cheap and you can keep it for a low price. If there is a place with cheaper one-liter bottle shochu, please let me know. I have been to many standing bars, but the dishes here are priced from 350 to 550 yen and the seasoning suits my taste. There are always over ten different small dishes available, such as doteyaki, sukiyaki-ni, wakatake-ni, simmered fish, and potato salad. The daily changing sashimi selection includes 4-5 types, fresh and reasonably priced. The tempura, including Osaka's unique ginger tempura, is delicious. They can serve it with just soy sauce or salt, but if you ask, they will add oden broth, which is great. As they are a liquor store, they have everything from shochu to sake to wine to makgeolli. The shochu keep price is the selling price of a one-liter bottle plus a little extra, which is incredibly cheap. This is a regular customer price, so if you want to keep it, come in and ask for the price directly. When you hear the shochu keep price, you will doubt if there is a cheaper place even in Japan. Additionally, they do not charge for hot water or water after you keep it, which is extremely helpful! The era of standing bars with canned food and dried goods is long gone. Now, customers need proper dishes with their alcohol, and this place delivers.
